Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 58: Chapter 58 Have You Done It with Him? (Fans of Yanzu, please follow the story)

Upon hearing this, Su Man subconsciously retorted, ”Buying a house... What nonsense are you spouting? Do you know how much this house costs?”

Zhang Jingdong calmly responded, ”Aren’t you and An An renting from the same landlord? So, tell me, how much does this house cost?”

Su Man replied coldly, ”I had asked before, my place is 420,000. An An’s place is a bit larger than mine, hers would be 500,000!”

”Only 500,000!” Zhang Jingdong boastfully exclaimed, ”That’s just the price of an Audi A6. If I’ve already bought her an Audi A6, what’s a house more?”

At this point, Zhang Jingdong turned to An Lu and said, ”Honey, give your landlord a call right now.”

An Lu was initially taken aback but seeing Zhang Jingdong’s serious expression, she quickly waved her hands, ”Jingdong, there’s no need...”

Zhang Jingdong patiently replied, ”I’ve already bought the car, don’t quibble over the house with me. Be good, give him a call, I’ll talk to him!”

Knowing Zhang Jingdong had made up his mind, An Lu sighed and took out her phone to dial the landlord’s number.

After a brief exchange, An Lu handed the phone to Zhang Jingdong.

All that could be heard was Zhang Jingdong saying, ”Hello, I am An Lu’s boyfriend, Zhang Jingdong. May I ask how I should address you?”

”My last name is Wang.”

”Sister Wang, I’d like to buy the apartment An Lu is renting from you. Would that be possible?”

”Well, you can, but Xiao Zhang, you know that in the past two years, property prices in Jiangdu have been rising, and you also know the location of that house, so the price may be a bit higher than you expect.”

”Sister Wang, I just want to give An Lu a present. As for the price, I’m willing to offer 550,000. How about that?”

”You seem quite sincere with that offer. How about this? I’ll come back to Jiangdu tomorrow and we can discuss it in person, okay?”

”That would be perfect. Let’s make it 8 o’clock in the evening; we’ll wait for you at home.”

”Alright, alright...”

”Since we’ve agreed, then I won’t disturb your rest, Sister Wang. Goodbye!”

”Goodbye!”

After hanging up the phone, Zhang Jingdong looked at Su Man with interest, ”Can you go take a shower now?”

At this moment, this girl was not only angry but also felt completely powerless and secretly envious.

Because her home was in the remote mountains, she had come to Jiangdu alone at 19, her greatest dream being to settle down in Jiangdu, own her own house, and then bring her parents over to enjoy a better life.

For this, she kept her phone on 24/7, taking jobs from all over the country.

Despite her hard work, she was already 26 this year and still hadn’t earned enough money to buy a house.

Yet, this guy in front of her seemed younger than her, but not only was he able to buy An Lu an Audi A6, he was now actually going to buy her a house.

With just a light-hearted remark, he fulfilled the dream she’d been struggling to achieve for 7 years.

At this moment, she was engulfed by a profound sense of helplessness.

Seeing that Su Man didn’t respond, An Lu, not wanting to make her feel embarrassed, said, ”No need, how could we possibly ask her to do that, I’ll go do it. Manman, Jingdong was just joking; don’t take it seriously!”

Saying that, she also gave Zhang Jingdong a near-pleading look.

Zhang Jingdong was just teasing Su Man, and upon seeing An Lu take it seriously, he could only pull a face and turned back to continue watching TV.

An Lu tidied up the tableware promptly, patted Su Man on the shoulder, and then turned toward the kitchen.

Su Man shot Zhang Jingdong a harsh glare before also heading to the kitchen.

When An Lu saw Su Man coming in, she immediately said, ”I’m sorry about that, actually, Jingdong isn’t usually like this. You two might have had a heated exchange earlier, so he...”

”You don’t have to explain...” With a hint of a smile returning to her face, Su Man reassured her, ”Don’t worry, I’m fine. Although this guy is a bit arrogant, I can see that he’s really good to you.”

An Lu breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this. ”I knew you were not the type to hold grudges, and I guarantee that once you two get to know each other, he won’t speak to you like that!”

Su Man pursed her lips. ”Don’t even think about it. This guy has been successful from a young age and has this innate sense of superiority. I really can’t stand people like him...”

”But don’t worry, for your sake, I won’t get into a fight with him. But if he ever dares to bully you, I’ll make sure he regrets it!”

At this point, Su Man suddenly remembered something and hesitated. ”But I’m really curious, if he’s not a second-generation rich, then what does he do? How can he be so wealthy at such a young age?”

An Lu frowned slightly and replied, ”All I know at the moment is that Jingdong’s main occupation is as a student at West University. He earned some start-up capital from doing small business ventures before, and then he opened a restaurant near their campus, which is very successful.”

”That’s all I know; and as for our interactions, I’ve already told you... That’s about it!”

Su Man was once again shocked. ”He’s actually still a student...”

Following that train of thought, she narrowed her eyes in thought for quite a while, murmuring, ”I think I might understand now!”

She turned to look at An Lu. ”I’ve heard from a friend before that college entrepreneurship is particularly popular now, especially among students from key universities like West University.”

”They set up various websites online and then engage in all kinds of fundraising. Some of them are already worth tens of millions even before they graduate!”

”So, your boyfriend might be doing just that!”

This was the first time An Lu had heard about this and she suddenly realized, ”Maybe, I’ll ask him when I have a chance.”

Zhang Jingdong could never have imagined that Su Man would inadvertently give a reasonable explanation for his wealth.

At this moment, Su Man nudged An Lu’s arm. ”Have you done ’that’ with him?”

A blush instantly spread across An Lu’s pretty face, and she pretended not to understand. ”’That’? What do you mean?”

Su Man teased her, ”Are you playing dumb with me? You’ve brought him to your home, and you still don’t know what it means?”

”If you don’t admit it, then I’ll have to explicitly spell out the meaning of that word!”

Hearing that, An Lu bashfully nodded. ”Ok, ok... I know what you mean.”

”So, have you done ’that’ with him?”

An Lu bit her lip. ”...No.”

”Really not?”

”Really not!”

Su Man breathed a sigh of relief. ”Smart girl, you haven’t completely fallen for his tricks.”

”You can’t just give ’that’ to him too easily, you know. Otherwise, if he gets it so easily, he won’t cherish you!”

An Lu frowned slightly. ”But eventually, I must give it to him, right?”

”Yes, you must, but you also have to choose the right moment, and even the frequency of giving it to him matters. You can’t give too little, nor can you give too often.”

An Lu blinked her beautiful eyes in uncertainty. ”Manman, who did you learn this from?”

”Partly from friends, but mostly I figured it out myself!”

An Lu pursed her lips, still uncertain. ”But you’ve been pondering for so long, and you don’t have a boyfriend now. Without practice, how do you know it’s right?”

As soon as she said this, Su Man was like someone who had received an electric shock.

Su Man was stunned for a good ten seconds before asking curiously, ”An An, then... what do you think yourself?”

An Lu replied serenely, ”I think love is something that comes from the heart. As long as both parties truly like each other, then everything will naturally fall into place.”

”So I feel that one shouldn’t be too calculative in love, because that not only diminishes the sincerity between the two but also prevents one from fully enjoying the beauty of love.”

Su Man was a bit confused, but she had to admit that there was a lot of truth in her words.
