Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 50: Chapter 50 Taking Her to Buy a Car

After hanging up the phone with Xiao Fei, Zhang Jingdong casually opened his messaging app and glanced at the message stating the new account balance.

The balance in the account showed 1,184,324.13 yuan!

Tsk tsk, who would have thought that after arguing with her and making her sing a song, I’d actually earn more than 200,000 and accidentally become a millionaire!

Tsk tsk, it seems this system is encouraging me to conquer women!

Got it!

Zhang Jingdong smirked and put his phone into his pocket, then drove back home quite contentedly.

After freshening up, as usual, he stared into the mirror for about ten minutes.

”My teeth have gotten straighter, the contour of my jawline clearer, and my nose more prominent... Happy!”

Zhang Jingdong, satisfied, went back to the bedroom and quickly fell asleep.

The next day was Sunday.

The restaurant opened at 10 a.m., and in less than half an hour, An Lu arrived.

Today she was wearing a red floral dress, once again dazzling the staff in the restaurant.

And now everyone already regarded her as the lady boss, looking at her with admiration and a touch of sincere respect from the bottom of their hearts.

Whereas Zhang Jingdong, in addition to admiration, felt an inexplicable stir.

He thought that he must find an opportunity to have a good chat with her today.

An Lu noticed the sly smile that crept up the corner of Zhang Jingdong’s mouth when he looked at her, and felt both shy and annoyed, shooting him a sideways glance.

Just after 11 a.m., people started to trickle into the restaurant.

By not even noon, the main hall and all the private rooms were already full, and there was even a line of about a dozen people waiting outside!

It couldn’t be helped; after the previous flyer distribution and yesterday’s word-of-mouth, most students from both universities now knew about the new Hunan cuisine restaurant on Self-Reliance Road, not only because of the big promotions but also because many of the dishes were incredibly delicious.

These days, those college students might not be great at making money, but forming lines and joining in on the buzz, especially to save money on good eats, that they were unquestionably enthusiastic about.

Then Zhang Jingdong and the others were busy straight until past 2 p.m., finally managing to take a break for lunch.

Zhang Jingdong felt that as the boss, enduring up to this point for the first two days since opening was very righteous of him.

After all, he wasn’t truly expecting the restaurant to make much money; he just wanted to use it as a facade, as well as capital for flirting.

So, after eating, he greeted Yuan Mei, then left the restaurant with An Lu.

Halfway through, An Lu curiously asked, ”Where are we going?”

Zhang Jingdong gave a secretive smile, ”Didn’t I mention a surprise for you yesterday? You’ll know when we get there!”

Twenty minutes later, the car slowly pulled into the parking lot in front of the Star River Audi 4S dealership.

Getting out of the car, An Lu glanced at the store’s name on the glass wall not far away, then took another look at the beautiful Audi cars parked inside.

She hesitated and asked, ”Jingdong, what are we doing here?”

Zhang Jingdong smiled nonchalantly, ”What else could we possibly be doing here, of course we’re here to buy a car!”

He said, and immediately pulled An Lu into the store.

A saleswoman in a black suit came to greet them, her smile becoming a few notches more genuine the moment she saw An Lu.

Those who sell luxury cars have generally developed a keen sense of judgment.

In their eyes, not everyone dressed in designer brands is a rich second generation, but having a stunning beauty like An Lu, with high looks, figure, and temperament by their side, meant this young man was definitely not your average rich second generation!

”Good day to the both of you, welcome to our Star River Audi 4S dealership, I’m the sales consultant Liu Jie, very pleased to serve you!”

Zhang Jingdong casually said, ”We’d like to check out the latest A6 model.”

Choosing this car was because in Zhang Jingdong’s last life, the Audi A6 was his first dream car.

Although many people would say ”Audi A6, is that even considered a luxury car,” back then, even after struggling for many years, Zhang Jingdong still couldn’t afford it.

Reborn, Zhang Jingdong decided to start with the A6, fulfilling one by one the luxury car dreams he had failed to realize in his previous life.

”Sure, please follow me!”

The two then followed and walked forward about ten meters, when a white Audi A6 appeared in front of them.

In his previous life, Zhang Jingdong liked Audi A6 not only because of its price, but more importantly, he thought A6 was the most beautiful and stylish among all Audi cars.

The car in black exudes stability and dominance when driven by a man.

There’s a saying, isn’t there? You’d rather upset a man who gets out of a Mercedes-Benz or BMW than one who steps out of the back seat of an Audi A6.

Anger the former, and you might just lose some money, but anger the latter, and you might never get out of it in your lifetime.

Meanwhile, it’s fashionable and exudes elegance for a woman to drive one in white.

And according to Zhang Jingdong’s experience from his past life, women who drive Audis generally look prettier than those driving BMWs or Mercedes-Benzes.

Of course, this might also be because he has seen more Audi-drivers than BMW or Mercedes drivers.

Upon approaching, Liu Jie began to introduce: ”Our Audi A6L is a four-door, five-seat sedan with a length of 4.8 meters, a width of 1.8 meters, and a height of 1.4 meters.”

”It’s equipped with a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine, with a maximum horsepower of 170...”

Zhang Jingdong listened symbolically for a few sentences, then turned his head and asked An Lu, ”Do you think this car is good-looking?”

An Lu nodded earnestly, ”Mmm... beautiful!”

Zhang Jingdong continued, ”Do you like it?”

An Lu’s heart fluttered, and then she turned to gaze at Zhang Jingdong: ”I... Jingdong, you... don’t need to...”

Jingdong laughed casually, ”You just need to answer whether you like it or not!”

An Lu bit the corner of her mouth, ”...I like it!”

”That’s enough if you like it!”

With that said, Zhang Jingdong turned to look at Liu Jie, ”Do you have ready cars in the shop?”

Liu Jie was obviously taken aback by Zhang Jingdong’s decisiveness, pausing before replying, ”Yes, but if it’s a ready car, it might not be easy to choose the specifications.”

”Then if I order today, when’s the earliest I can pick up the car?”

”Next Friday.”

Zhang Jingdong nodded thoughtfully, ”Alright, then I want one in black and one in white, all top-end configurations!”

With those words, Liu Jie and An Lu were both shocked!

Liu Jie was amazed because she had never encountered a customer who was so straightforward and even ordered two Audi A6s at once in her three years of experience.

Yet An Lu was surprised because she never expected Zhang Jingdong to actually buy such an expensive car for her.

Although she wasn’t very knowledgeable about cars, she knew that the wife of their bank president drove an Audi A6 similar to the one before her.

She knew that the cheapest model would cost three to four hundred thousand, while the most expensive one could cost five to six hundred thousand!

Thus, feeling flattered and overwhelmed, she instinctively tugged at Zhang Jingdong’s arm and whispered, ”Jingdong, you don’t have to buy it for me... It’s too expensive!”

Zhang Jingdong didn’t want to explain, so he simply wrapped his arm around her shoulders and kissed her cheek, ”As long as you like it, no matter how expensive, it’s worth it!”

Seeing this, Liu Jie was instantly conquered by Zhang Jingdong’s dominating tenderness!

But knowing she stood no chance, as her own looks, figure, and temperament were no match for An Lu, she duly said, ”Should I go prepare the car purchase contract now?”

Zhang Jingdong extended his hand, ”Thank you, that would be great!”

Liu Jie was completely excited now, ”Not at all, not at all... Please, come this way and sit down, I’ll be quick!”

Saying so, she hurriedly led them to a nearby resting area and then asked her colleagues to help serve tea, bring water, and fetch some fruit snacks.

Half an hour later, Zhang Jingdong signed the car purchase contract, and then paid a total deposit of forty thousand for the two cars.

When leaving the dealership, An Lu subconsciously clung to Zhang Jingdong’s arm, her expression as dependent as a little bird leaning on a person.

There was no helping it; even the most non-materialistic woman would find it hard not to be moved when her beloved man suddenly buys her a car worth nearly five hundred thousand.

Because she knew that when a man is willing to spend the money he earned through countless hard work on her, he truly loves her.

And although An Lu was aware of Zhang Jingdong’s wealth, she also knew that this sum of money was no small amount for him at present.

So at this moment, she completely forgot about yesterday’s incident, wanting now only to love with all her heart the man in front of her who loved her with all his might.
