Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 45: Chapter 45: She Confessed to Me!

The two chatted for a while longer, and thinking of Lin Shishi coming over that evening, Zhang Jingdong said, ”You must be tired from earlier. Shall I take you back to rest now?”

Unexpectedly, An Lu shook her head: ”No worries, I am not tired. I’ll go back later in the evening.”

”Besides, I am resting right now. If I go back, I’d just be bored,”

As she spoke, she glanced at the door, then surveyed the office: ”This place is nice, lively with people around, and I can even help you with some work... I am quite happy!”

Seeing her insist, Zhang Jingdong had no choice but to give up on the idea of taking her back.

He then asked, nonchalantly, ”Why does helping me... make you happy?”

An Lu detected that he was teasing her and bit the corner of her mouth.

She feigned nonchalance: ”Because you helped me before, more than once, and each time at great risk.”

”So, now that I have the chance to do something for you, of course I am willing!”

”So, you’re helping me just because you want to repay the favor?” Zhang Jingdong sighed on purpose, ”So it has nothing to do with me personally?”

An Lu, clearly not expecting Zhang Jingdong to be so direct, subconsciously thought back to last night when he asked ”if she missed him at all”.

And seeing his expectant look at this moment, it was clear he wanted an affirmative answer.

At that moment, An Lu suddenly became certain of one thing—Zhang Jingdong liked her!

And she felt that with her flustered reveal of her feelings last night, if she rejected him outright now, knowing Zhang Jingdong’s personality, he might never take the initiative in front of her again.

If that were to happen, she might miss out on her feelings for him.

Although An Lu had never been in love before, she instinctively thought of all this, perhaps because she found out that she had truly fallen for Zhang Jingdong.

So, after a slight hesitation, An Lu braved her shyness and met Zhang Jingdong’s gaze, taking the initiative: ”The reason I came over so early today is actually because... I wanted to see you sooner!”

Zhang Jingdong’s heart flipped with joy upon hearing this, but he contained his agitation and asked: ”Then why did you hang up on me last night when I asked if you missed me?”

An Lu hesitated: ”I... I answered you then!”

Zhang Jingdong then shifted his chair closer to An Lu and took hold of her delicate hand.

But he continued to tease her: ”Maybe you hung up too quickly last time, I didn’t hear it... Can you answer me again now?”

An Lu’s cheeks instantly flushed red, and looking at him holding her hand, she pouted: ”I’ve... already yielded this much to you... do you still need to ask?”

Zhang Jingdong then used his left hand to hold her right: ”I just want to hear it, have you missed me these past few days?”

An Lu first bashfully lowered her head, then slowly raised it, gazing at Zhang Jingdong: ”Alright, I admit it... I’ve really missed you these past few days!”

”At first, I didn’t understand why, but on the days I didn’t see you, the moment I got home, your image would unconsciously appear in my mind, and no matter what I did, I just couldn’t distract myself.”

”It was not until after our call last night that I suddenly realized something... I... I must have fallen for you!”

”Host has received a confession from the person of interest, awarding 100,000 yuan!”

After An Lu said her last sentence, even she was a bit startled.

Mainly because she could never have imagined that one day she would take the initiative to say this to a man.

But her eyes quickly filled with resolve, because she believed that the man before her was worth it.

Meanwhile, aside from surprise, Zhang Jingdong felt an immense sense of achievement.

In his two lifetimes, this was the first time a woman had taken the initiative to confess to him, and not just any woman but An Lu, a top-level, mature beauty!

His confidence was greatly boosted, and for the first time, he was completely convinced of his current strength.

An Lu, having just declared her feelings to Zhang Jingdong, saw that, although excitement was written all over his face, his eyes were somewhat hazy, and he had yet to respond to her.

After waiting for a few seconds, she hesitated, ”So... do you like me?”

Zhang Jingdong finally snapped back to reality and wrapped his hands around An Lu’s slender waist: ”I won’t say it... I’ll prove it with action!”

With that, he kissed her directly.

”Host successfully kissed the target, reward 100,000 yuan!”

An Lu clearly didn’t expect Zhang Jingdong to be so bold. Instinctively, she struggled a bit, but as Zhang Jingdong exerted a little more effort, she quickly gave up resistance.

Zhang Jingdong thought to himself that someone like An Lu, who was ripe yet inexperienced, was indeed the perfect candidate for love.

Firstly, after establishing a relationship with them, he could quickly break through the first and second barriers.

Secondly, due to their lack of experience in love, many areas remain unexplored, thus there was the joy of teaching.

For example, An Lu obviously had never kissed anyone before and had no experience in kissing; she had no idea how to reciprocate.

Perhaps it was also for this reason that her lips were truly sweet!

Zhang Jingdong indulged for a full five minutes before reluctantly letting her go.

And at that moment, due to the tension and the quick breathing, An Lu was slightly panting.

She couldn’t help but give the culprit across from her a sidelong glance: ”You... you’re too bold, you... you actually...”

Of course, Zhang Jingdong knew that this was not the time for explanations or apologies, and he smirked: ”You like me, I like you, so it was bound to happen...”

Immediately, he changed the subject: ”But I didn’t expect you to not know how to kiss! You made me... so tired just now.”

An Lu immediately forgot about the struggle of him kissing her and instead spoke with a mix of embarrassment and a hint of apology: ”I... I haven’t had a boyfriend before, so of course I wouldn’t know how, and I wasn’t expecting you to just... just kiss me out of the blue!”

Zhang Jingdong downplayed it: ”No worries, I’ll teach you properly from now on. It’s quite easy yet difficult at the same time, so you must learn well.”

Although An Lu was slightly confused, seeing Zhang Jingdong’s serious demeanor, and since he had already kissed her, she could only nod: ”Hmm.”

Seeing that she had finally fallen into his trap, Zhang Jingdong looked around deliberately, then gazed intensely at her: ”Did you find it thrilling just now?”

An Lu, ready to follow him like a loyal partner, nodded with flushed cheeks: ”Hmm... I was so nervous my heart was about to leap out of my chest!”

”There was a moment when I wanted to tell you to close the door, but you wouldn’t let me speak!”

Zhang Jingdong feigned sudden realization: ”No wonder you were being so silent. You were worried about that. And here I thought that even though it’s your first kiss, you shouldn’t be completely clueless about reciprocating!”

With that, Zhang Jingdong stood up, went to lock the office door, then turned around to face her.

An Lu, seeing this, quickly stood up as well, her face a picture of panic: ”What... what are you doing? What if Sister Mei comes looking for you later...”

Zhang Jingdong waved dismissively: ”Don’t worry, Sister Mei is smart enough to know what’s appropriate.”

”Moreover, I just want to taste you again, it’ll take at most one or two minutes. For us to both have a good experience, you must actively participate this time!”

As he spoke, Zhang Jingdong approached her, wrapped his arms around An Lu’s waist again, and kissed her.

Although An Lu was taken by surprise, she knew it was done and decided to make Zhang Jingdong happy, so she took the initiative under his guidance.

Zhang Jingdong, who originally just wanted to take advantage, didn’t expect An Lu to catch on so quickly.

Thus, the two of them kissed deeply for another five minutes before Zhang Jingdong reluctantly let go of An Lu.

At that time, An Lu’s face was the epitome of allure and spring fervor.
