Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 46: Chapter 46 They Both Came

In the next few hours, Zhang Jingdong was editing clips while occasionally stopping to be affectionate with An Lu, thoroughly enjoying themselves both physically and emotionally.

An Lu gradually accepted being with Zhang Jingdong and increasingly felt the beauty of love, willingly cooperating with him in every way.

By around 5 PM, the two leisurely left the office.

To show that he had been working in the office, Zhang Jingdong personally operated the machine to display the edited clip on the advertising screen next to the counter.

However, as an experienced player, Yuan Mei could instantly tell from An Lu’s radiant face, but she acted as if she knew nothing.

She walked over, took a glance at the content on the big advertising screen, and couldn’t help but exclaim, ”Boss, your method is really brilliant!”

Zhang Jingdong smirked, ”No choice, our restaurant can’t advertise on TV, so we had to make one ourselves!”

Yuan Mei immediately said, ”I think the one you shot is much better than those on TV, it looks more amiable and trustworthy.”

As they were speaking, some customers started to trickle in.

Every time they passed by the counter, they were drawn to the advertisement on the big screen, and even a few customers recognized the people in the ad.

”Isn’t that Wang Yu from our class in international trade? Didn’t expect this guy to be so photogenic!”

”Those are the guys from Liu Qi’s dorm who mingled with us last time, right? They think this place is good, so let’s host them here when we repay their visit this week.”

In less than an hour, the whole lobby was almost fully occupied.

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong turned around and asked Wang Yue, who was directing guests, ”Did you reserve the two private rooms I mentioned?”

”They are already reserved.”

Zhang Jingdong suddenly thought of something and continued, ”Are these two private rooms separate?”

”Ah, boss, you didn’t tell me to separate them. I thought the people in these two rooms were together, so I arranged rooms 6 and 7.”

Zhang Jingdong’s heart tightened, ”You better check if there are any other private rooms available.”

”Okay, okay...”

Wang Yue hurriedly walked away.

She returned in less than two minutes.

”Boss, apart from these two rooms, there is only room 9 available, but it has already been booked and the guest specifically requested this room.”

”Did the guest say why?”

”Yes, they mentioned it’s their birthday tonight, and 9 is their lucky number!”

Zhang Jingdong instantly smiled, ”Well, since they’ve stated so, let’s reserve it for them.”

Now, he could only pray that Lin Shishi’s group wouldn’t come with Xiao Fei’s.

He wasn’t worried about Lin Shishi, but he felt if Xiao Fei bumped into Lin Shishi here, there would surely be drama.

Fortunately, in less than ten minutes, Lin Shishi and her dorm mates entered the restaurant.

Zhang Jingdong immediately greeted them personally, ”Senior sister, you’ve arrived...”

Lin Shishi responded with a tranquil smile, ”Yes.”

Liu Siwen looked around and admired, ”Boss Zhang, it’s impressive that your restaurant just opened and it’s already so bustling!”

Zhang Jingdong modestly said, ”Honestly, I didn’t expect that either, but a momentary crowd doesn’t mean it’s always busy. If it’s still this crowded in a month, then it will truly be successful!”

Perhaps because she thought Zhang Jingdong’s words made sense, Lin Shishi rarely complimented him, ”Just by your words, I believe your restaurant will continue to thrive!”

Zhang Jingdong did not expect Lin Shishi to suddenly say this, feeling unexpectedly flattered, ”I appreciate your blessings, I will definitely work hard to run this restaurant well!”

”The private rooms have been arranged for you, come with me!”

Speaking, he personally led them to private room 6.

Before leaving the room, Zhang Jingdong smiled and said, ”I’m friends with senior sisters Shishi and Si Wen; they even helped me distribute flyers when I was promoting at the school two days ago, so today’s meal is on me.”

”Everyone, don’t miss out on this opportunity to order generously!”

Zhang Jingdong gave Lin Shishi a deep look and then left the private room immediately.

Just as he left, everyone in the room instantly turned to look at Lin Shishi.

Although Zhang Jingdong just mentioned Liu Siwen, everyone knew she was just a foil, and the real focus was undoubtedly Lin Shishi!

Wang Yun couldn’t help but say: ”Shishi, what... what’s going on here? You and this Boss Zhang...”

Lin Shishi, unusually embarrassed at this moment, still tried to remain composed: ”We’re just ordinary friends.”

”Oh... just ordinary friends, huh!”

Wang Yun looked at everyone else with a mischievous smile: ”Everyone... have any of you ever heard of any guy who could invite our fellow student Lin Shishi for a meal?”

”Nope.”

”I don’t think so...”

”I definitely haven’t heard about it.”

Lin Shishi couldn’t take it anymore and used her hostess skills: ”If you guys think this treat doesn’t cost any money, how about we go somewhere else right now?”

As soon as she said this, everyone else immediately backed down!

”No, don’t... at noon, Liu Fang from the neighboring dorm already came by and said their food here is really delicious!”

Wang Yun quickly admitted defeat: ”Shishi, my bad, I won’t say anything more!”

It was then Liu Siwen who spoke up: ”Alright, let’s hurry up and order. There are so many people outside, if we order late, the food will definitely be delayed!”

Wang Yun hastily echoed: ”Yes, yes, yes... let’s order quickly...”

...

While Wang Yun and the others were ordering, Xiao Fei and her dorm mates entered the restaurant.

Xiao Fei was wearing a white spaghetti strap dress today, and it was a bit low-cut.

She naturally has the rare C+ size among college girls, and being at the forefront, as soon as she walked in, she immediately attracted all eyes.

Even An Lu, who had been looking down at the accounts and only occasionally glancing at Zhang Jingdong, couldn’t help but keep her eyes on her.

Xiao Fei seemed to have been accustomed to this kind of attention and didn’t care at all, going straight up to Zhang Jingdong, unusually sweetly said: ”Mr. Zhang, I wish you a prosperous start and booming business!”

Because of this scene, almost everyone in the hall turned to look at Zhang Jingdong.

After all, it was extremely rare for Xiao Fei to take such initiative and change her usual cold demeanor to give a smile.

And some even recognized Zhang Jingdong as the guy who Xiao Fei publicly asked for his phone number at the West University Music Festival.

Thus, a thick atmosphere of gossip instantly formed around.

Zhang Jingdong felt the gazes from people around and thought to himself that this girl really knew how to make a scene.

But as the saying goes, one does not slap the smiling face, so Zhang Jingdong smiled and nodded: ”Thank you... I’ve reserved a private room for you, room number 7 over there, Wang Yue, lead them there.”

”Alright.”

Seeing that Zhang Jingdong had indeed arranged a private room, Xiao Fei pleasantly said: ”Thank you, Mr. Zhang, you really keep your word!”

She then led her dorm mates following Wang Yue to the 7th room.

As Wang Yue left, Xiao Fei’s dorm mates immediately burst into excitement.

Li Ran said: ”Feifei, I can’t believe you actually know the owner here, your connections are indeed solid!”

Chen Xue hesitated: ”Why do I feel like I’ve seen that owner somewhere before, I think I’ve seen him before!”

Wang Lu immediately chimed in: ”Now that you mention it, I remember, he’s the guy who played the clay flute at the music festival, and Feifei even publicly asked for his phone number back then!”

As soon as this was said, everyone suddenly realized.

”I remember now, it’s really him!”

”Feifei, so you actually really contacted him after the music festival!”

Xiao Fei was a bit embarrassed, but also somewhat nonchalant: ”Of course, otherwise why would I have asked for his number back then!”
