Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 49: Chapter 49 Taming Xiao Fei

Both stepped out of the car, and Zhang Jingdong walked An Lu to the bottom of her building.

Originally, if not for today’s incident with the three targets appearing together, he planned to seize the opportunity and visit her upstairs tonight.

But now... even though An Lu seemed alright, Zhang Jingdong knew there must still be some emotions lingering in her heart.

In that condition, even if he followed her up, they probably wouldn’t be able to do much.

So Zhang Jingdong stopped at the entrance of the building and kissed An Lu’s pretty face: ”Alright, go on up.”

At this moment, An Lu was slightly surprised.

Because all the way here she had been somewhat anxious, thinking that now she was in a confirmed relationship with Zhang Jingdong, and today she had been kissed by him, hugged, and even... touched on the top.

So she thought he might ask to go up with her this time.

Truth be told, she wasn’t mentally prepared for that yet.

But if Zhang Jingdong insisted on going up, she didn’t know how to refuse.

And just as she was hesitating and even feeling uneasy, she didn’t expect him to suddenly say this.

At that moment, she deeply felt his cherish and respect for her.

So to reward him, An Lu tiptoed and initiated a kiss on Zhang Jingdong’s lips.

”Dear, thank you!”

Zhang Jingdong, of course, understood the meaning behind her words and gently said: ”We are dating, not having a one-night stand. There’s no need to finish everything in one day, or else there’s no time to savor it!”

An Lu nodded, moved and happy: ”Mmm... dear, you are so good!”

Zhang Jingdong joked: ”My real goodness is yet to come, now go up, and don’t miss me too much!”

An Lu was once again amused, giving Zhang Jingdong a coquettish and affectionate glance, then reluctantly entered the building.

Zhang Jingdong watched her disappear completely from his view before turning around and leaving the complex.

Just as he got into the car, his phone rang.

He thought it was An Lu, but to his surprise, it turned out to be Xiao Fei.

After hesitating for a moment, he answered: ”Hello...”

”Mr. Zhang, it took you so long to answer the call. I hope I didn’t interrupt you and your lovely accountant lady’s moment, did I?”

Zhang Jingdong replied irritably: ”If you want to talk, talk for a bit; if not, go to sleep early.”

”Tsk... You dare say nothing happened between you and that lovely accountant?”

”Whether something happened between her and me seems to have nothing to do with you at all, right?”

”Hmph... Zhang Jingdong, you dare to talk to me like that!”

Zhang Jingdong switched the phone to his left hand: ”Why can’t I talk to you like this?”

”You tell me! We were both handing out flyers for you, why do you waive the fee for Lin Shishi and then just give me a membership card? I praised you back then, you almost made me lose face in front of my dorm mates!”

Zhang Jingdong was somewhat speechless: ”Didn’t I waive your fee in the end?”

”You have the nerve to mention, you did waive my fee, but it was obvious to everyone that you did it only because of Lin Shishi’s face!”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head with a smile: ”I would like to ask, isn’t the restaurant mine?”

”It’s yours, so what?”

”If it’s mine, then I can waive the fee for whoever I want, and give discounts to whoever I want!”

”When I was teaching you, I didn’t charge you for the lessons. You think because you handed out some flyers for me, I must waive your fee!”

”To think you are such an ungrateful person, fine then, I won’t teach you anymore. If you insist on me teaching you, fine, 2000 per lesson!”

”You... are you serious?”

Zhang Jingdong suppressed a laugh: ”No kidding, not a cent less! Otherwise, find someone more skilled!”

Upon hearing this, Xiao Fei immediately regretted.

She had only wanted to argue with Zhang Jingdong because he had shown favoritism to Lin Shishi in front of her, hoping to nag a little benefit from him, but had inadvertently managed to upset him.

Before, it was always guys chasing after her, and she would coldly throw water on their advances and give them the cold shoulder. Now, for the first time, she was on the receiving end of such treatment from a guy.

But the aggravating thing was she couldn’t really do anything to him, nor could she afford to completely fall out with him.

For one thing, she knew that what Zhang Jingdong was saying actually made sense.

And another, she still wanted Zhang Jingdong to tutor her, or rather, she wanted to see Zhang Jingdong privately.

She didn’t know why.

With that thought, Xiao Fei bit her lip hard and said in a low voice, ”Fine, I was wrong, okay? I apologize to you!”

”The host has successfully obtained an apology from the target person, reward 50,000 yuan!”

Zhang Jingdong never expected to get such a hefty reward for making a girl apologize to him, nor did he expect that Xiao Fei could actually be so flexible. He couldn’t help but chuckle in disbelief.

But he wasn’t going to forgive her so easily; otherwise, this chick would definitely cause more trouble later on.

He then said, ”So, tell me, what exactly did you do wrong?”

”You... Zhang Jingdong, don’t go too far, okay? I... I’ve already come this far, what more do you want from me?”

Zhang Jingdong sighed and said, ”You don’t even call me Mr. Zhang anymore, daring to call me by my name directly, showing no respect for teachers or the moral code, and you still don’t know where you went wrong?”

There was complete silence for a full five seconds.

At this point, Zhang Jingdong spoke, ”If you don’t say anything, I’m going to hang up, and don’t ever call me again!”

”Wait a second...”

Xiao Fei took a deep breath and said, ”Alright, Mr. Zhang, I understand. I will definitely respect you from now on, not talk back to you, and listen to everything you say... Is that okay now?”

Zhang Jingdong really didn’t expect her to hold out this long under such circumstances.

He then said, ”Are you truly reflecting, or are you just trying to appease me?”

”I’m not trying to appease you... Mr. Zhang, I truly realize my mistake. I will always remember to respect and honor my teachers and obey you!”

Zhang Jingdong spoke sternly, ”There’s one more thing. From now on, you are not allowed to pry into any of the teacher’s private matters or question any of the teacher’s decisions!”

”I understand. I will remember this point and act accordingly!”

At this point, Zhang Jingdong finally couldn’t help but laugh, ”Xiao Fei, if you want me to completely forgive you, you still need to do one last thing...”

”What is it?”

”You want to become a singer, right? So sing me a song right now.”

”Alright, what song do you want to hear?”

”What song are you best at?”

Xiao Fei instantly regained her usual confidence, ”I am good at too many songs. I can sing most of Sun Yanzi, Zhang Shaohan, and even Wang Fei’s songs.”

Zhang Jingdong teased, ”That impressive, huh? Then sing me Chen Xiaochun’s ’You Are Ruthless’.”

”’You Are Ruthless’?”

”What, you can’t sing it?”

”It’s not that... it’s just completely not my style!”

”Alright then, if you don’t want to sing, let’s just say goodbye!”

”Okay okay okay... I’ll sing for you, I’ll sing! Happy now?”

”Then start!”

Xiao Fei took a whole ten seconds of mental preparation before beginning softly, ”I say you are ruthless, adept with the eyes of an innocent, I believed your lies twice...”

”Congratulations to the host for successfully pranking the target person, reward 200,000 yuan!”

Xiao Fei could only manage a short part before she just couldn’t go on.

By this point, Zhang Jingdong was completely elated from the unexpected reward and Xiao Fei’s singing, ”Not bad singing, actually. Alright, I forgive you. Let’s leave it at that for today. I have things to do, so I’m hanging up!”

He hung up straight away.

Meanwhile, under the maple tree behind the West No.1 Female Dormitory, Xiao Fei glared at her phone and murmured, ”Zhang Jingdong, you just wait. Sooner or later, I’ll make you beg me!”
