Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 25: Chapter 25 Taking a Stand for Her

Liu Guokang only learned two things when he was studying abroad in the Beautiful Country.

The first thing was how to sleep with girls of all skin colors and races.

The second thing was how to hang out in social circles.

In universities of the Beautiful Country, ”mixing in circles” refers not only to networks but also to fraternities.

Because he didn’t attend an Ivy League school, and in fact, even within those Ivy League schools, there were many grey fraternities like Harvard’s fraternity and Yale’s Skull Society.

In his university as a minority, if you didn’t join a fraternity, you would often get beaten up or pranked by Blacks and Whites.

So, Liu Guokang joined several fraternities and even a local Chinese grey organization.

Due to the habits formed at that time, after returning to his homeland, Liu Guokang still maintained a significant streetwise attitude.

As a wealthy second-gen, he knew quite a few so-called street brothers.

He wouldn’t hang out with them usually, but whenever he had trouble, he would pay them to step in and smooth things over for him.

After being humiliated by Zhang Jingdong at Dafuhao last night, he secretly swore to take his revenge on Zhang Jingdong.

He didn’t know Zhang Jingdong’s information, but he thought An Lu should know.

And when An Lu called him today, he became even more certain of this.

He also had a vague feeling that An Lu would meet Zhang Jingdong again.

So he had someone secretly track An Lu.

Unexpectedly, they met up in less than a day.

So, Liu Guokang decided to humiliate Zhang Jingdong in front of An Lu, as his face had been crushed by Zhang Jingdong the night before, although at the time An Lu was almost unconscious.

After receiving a call from his underling, he immediately brought his men over!

And when he saw the two of them leaving the restaurant, chatting and laughing together, he was insanely jealous.

He had already investigated An Lu’s background; she was just an ordinary bank employee with no connections in Jiangdu.

As for Zhang Jingdong, Liu Guokang didn’t even care about him.

Since from last night until this morning, he had checked all the second-gen circles in Jiangdu and found no one called Zhang Jingdong.

So, he thought Zhang Jingdong was just a brainless fool who rashly stood up for others, and even if he buried this kid somewhere, it wouldn’t be traceable back to him.

An Lu saw Liu Guokang and immediately stopped in her tracks, also hurriedly pulling Zhang Jingdong, who was continuing to walk forward.

Zhang Jingdong smiled casually and turned, ”You stand here and don’t move; I’ll go ask him what he wants to do.”

An Lu was clearly frightened and whispered, ”Should we... should we call the police?”

Zhang Jingdong said solemnly, ”If you dare take out your phone now, they will immediately come over and start a fight, then I won’t be able to look after you!”

”Don’t worry, it’s not like we have a deadly feud with him; it won’t come to that. Just stand here and don’t move, I’ll go talk to him. Maybe if we talk it out, it’ll be fine?”

Seeing Zhang Jingdong so composed, An Lu could only nod her head: ”Then you must be careful!”

”Don’t worry, I will be!”

Zhang Jingdong turned back, approaching with an easy smile.

Liu Guokang looked at Zhang Jingdong and said coldly, ”You’re still able to smile at this point; you’re really quite something, huh!”

Zhang Jingdong touched his nose, ”Bro, after last night, we shouldn’t be strangers, so why the big scene?”

”Cut the crap!” Liu Guokang’s eyes turned fierce, ”I’ve been willing to eat anything since I was a kid, but I just won’t take a loss. You messed up my good thing last night, how could I possibly let you go...”

”Okay, I won’t waste words with you. If you want to continue living fully, you’ve got two choices.”

”First, kneel down and say ’Mr. Kang, I was wrong’ three times.”

”Second, let her hang out with me for a week.”

”Neither of these is a multiple-choice question; they are compulsory questions, and I’m only giving you one minute to think!”

Zhang Jingdong curled his lips, ”Bro, have you been watching ’Conquest’ too much and now you’re Cosplaying Liu Huaqiang with me?”

Hearing this, Liu Guokang immediately said fiercely, ”Alright, since you disagree, then don’t blame me. Guys, do him in!”

Zhang Jingdong said at this moment, ”Are you sure you really want to take action? If I call the police, neither of us can get away!”

Liu Guokang now looked at Zhang Jingdong as if he was looking at an alien, ”Hmph... Call the police? Do you believe that if you call the police, the only one who’s going to be unlucky is yourself?”

Zhang Jingdong remained unperturbed, ”Then will you call the police in a moment?”

”You idiot, why would I call the police?”

”Alright, since you won’t call the police, that makes things easier...”

Having said that, Zhang Jingdong suddenly made a lightning-fast move.

In less than a minute, all of Liu Guokang’s people had lost their ability to resist.

Each one of them was either lying on the ground or holding some part of their body, howling in pain.

At this moment, Liu Guokang was so shocked he began to doubt his life!

Damn it, did... did this guy just get possessed by Bruce Lee?

Those leg techniques, and the inch punch of Jeet Kune Do... Is he... is he even human?

And not far away, An Lu was also thoroughly shocked by Zhang Jingdong’s performance!

She had been intently watching the situation in front of her and had stealthily placed her hand on the zipper of her handbag, ready to take out her phone and call the police at any moment.

But she never expected that before those guys could even encircle Zhang Jingdong, he had already taken them all down with a few punches and kicks!

Also, the scene just now felt very familiar to her, as if she had seen it in a movie!

That’s right, it was... a Bruce Lee movie!

Bruce Lee seemed to deal with the bad guys just like that.

As a child of the 70s, although she was a woman, An Lu was also a die-hard fan of Bruce Lee.

Like many other girls, she also admired those fiery boys who were good at fighting.

Most crucially, this man who resembled Bruce Lee was acting to protect her!

At that moment, looking at the figure of Zhang Jingdong, An Lu’s heart surged with a complex mix of emotions.

There was admiration, relief, worry, and even a hint... of goodwill.

”Congratulations Host for successfully gaining 10 points of goodwill from the target person, reward 20,000 yuan!”

Zhang Jingdong then approached Liu Guokang.

Liu Guokang instinctively crawled back a few steps, ”You... don’t come closer!”

Zhang Jingdong spoke in a deep voice, ”If you move again, I will make sure you can’t move at all. Do you believe me?”

Saying this, he took another step forward.

Liu Guokang didn’t dare to move this time.

Seeing this, Zhang Jingdong sneered, ”So how is it, are you convinced? If you think I won just now because of a sneak attack, then we can have a one-on-one fight right now!”

Liu Guokang quickly waved his hands, ”No... no need!”

”I’m asking if you’re convinced? Can you please answer my question accurately, okay?”

Seeing that Zhang Jingdong was about to make a move again, Liu Guokang hurriedly said, ”I’m convinced... I’m convinced!”

At that moment, Zhang Jingdong suddenly stopped his hands, then gently patted the dirt off Liu Guokang’s pants, ”Do you think with my skills just now, if you want to find someone to deal with me, do you think it will be easy for you? Probably not, right?”

”Then think about it, what is your favorite thing to do in life isn’t it messing with women? But once that thing of yours gets crushed, then you won’t be able to do that anymore!”

As he said this, Zhang Jingdong moved his leg slightly, and Liu Guokang’s face instantly turned white from fright.

Zhang Jingdong’s eyes narrowed slightly, ”So remember... don’t mess with me, or her, otherwise I will let you experience what it feels like to be crushed. Got it?”

”Okay okay okay... I remember, I dare not, I dare not anymore!”

Zhang Jingdong didn’t want to bother with him anymore and went straight to An Lu’s side, directly putting his arm around her shoulder.

He spoke softly, ”Don’t hide, just pretend to be my girlfriend, that way they won’t dare to trouble you anymore!”

An Lu immediately understood, and without any struggle, she even leaned gently on Zhang Jingdong.
