Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 29: Chapter 29 This girl is simply a fairy!

The West University Music Festival started at 9 AM and lasted until 5 PM.

Then, before 6 AM, Lu Yuan and the others had already woken up.

Seeing that Zhang Jingdong was still asleep, Sun Mian immediately called to him, ”Brother Dong, get up already, we need to go line up!”

Zhang Jingdong, groggily opening his eyes, was a bit confused: ”Line up for what?”

”Of course for the music festival. It’s at the sports field. If we go early to line up, we can get good spots. Don’t you want to be closer to Lin Shishi and Xiao Fei?”

Zhang Jingdong sighed: ”What time is it even? I’m still sleepy. You guys go ahead, I’ll come later.”

”Think it over. Our school has over forty thousand students, and today at least ten thousand will be at the venue. If you go later, you might only find a seat in the very back row, and then you won’t be able to see anything!”

Zhang Jingdong smirked: ”Don’t worry, I have my ways.”

Seeing that he was set on this, no one persuaded him further, so they all left the dorm.

Zhang Jingdong turned over and continued to sleep.

It wasn’t until close to 8 AM that he finally woke up.

After washing up, he grabbed the box containing his clay flute and went to the cafeteria.

He had two egg pancakes and a serving of milk.

Not to say anything, but having been indulging in rich foods recently, this sudden cheap breakfast under 5 yuan actually tasted quite delicious.

As it was nearing 9 AM, he leisurely made his way to the sports field.

At this time, almost no one was at the entrance, except for two staff members maintaining order.

Seeing Zhang Jingdong’s nonchalant appearance, the two couldn’t help but smile at each other.

Zhang Jingdong saw them but didn’t mind and even smiled, asking, ”Has it started inside?”

One of them said, ”Not yet, but when you go in, you can only sit in the back row.”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled: ”No worries, as long as I can get in.”

After talking, he walked through the specially made channel through the barrier and entered.

At this moment, the large sports field was a sight to behold with flags flying and the crowd buzzing.

Following the instructions of the staff, Zhang Jingdong climbed the stairs to the very top row along the side aisle.

He looked down and, sure enough, couldn’t see much—only the stage on the soccer field and the judges’ row in front.

However, he wasn’t worried and casually lay back in his chair and looked up at the sky.

Suddenly, a huge burst of applause and cheers erupted, and then Lin Shishi walked onto the stage with a boy.

Zhang Jingdong then looked towards the stage again.

Although he could only see that Lin Shishi was wearing a white dress, he could still feel the gentle and graceful aura emanating from her.

They started with a few opening words.

Then Lin Shishi introduced the segments of the music festival: ”This music festival is divided into two parts. First is the performance section. We have invited singers and bands from thirteen universities, and they will deliver wonderful performances for everyone.”

”Following that is the interactive section. Anyone in the audience who wants to showcase their musical talents can sign up beforehand at any of the stations, and we will arrange for you to perform on stage.”

”Also, we have professional judges who will provide their evaluations.”

”The theme of our West University Music Festival is to enjoy music and make our lives more fun, so I hope all of you participate enthusiastically and bravely show what you’ve got!”

Afterward, the male host covered some routine notices and then the two of them officially announced the start of the music festival!

Zhang Jingdong was somewhat surprised; such a big event and no administrative speeches from school leaders.

Tsk tsk, this music festival is really open-ended!

The first to take the stage was Tsinghua University’s band, Dreamlike Years, performing Xu Wei’s ”Persistent.”

Throughout the song, Zhang Jingdong felt the lead singer was okay, but what impressed him the most was their guitarist.

Zhang Jingdong couldn’t help but recall someone from his past life saying that Tsinghua guys in bands generally play the guitar really well.

Because there are fewer girls than boys in Tsinghua, if a guy wants to get a girlfriend, he either needs to be handsome, be good at soccer, or play an instrument well.

Of the first two options, both usually require natural talent, so most guys start to crazily practice the guitar.

Now it seems, that statement was true.

Zhang Jingdong initially thought this Tsinghua band was just a warm-up act, but he didn’t expect their opener to be a peak performance.

Following them, several bands performed and none matched up to their level.

From the reactions of the people around, it was evident.

Everyone shifted from being passionately excited to somewhat distracted, with some even striking up conversations with the opposite sex beside them.

Just then, the male host introduced: ”Next up, we have our school’s Xiao Fei...”

As soon as he mentioned this, the entire venue erupted into thunderous applause and cheers.

”Alright... Now let’s give the stage to her!”

As soon as the words were uttered, Xiao Fei gracefully walked onto the stage.

She was dressed in a black T-shirt paired with white shorts today, looking quite like HyunA, flaunting those captivating long legs!

Zhang Jingdong, though sitting in the back row, still felt the magic of those legs.

”Today, the first song I’ll bring to everyone is Pu Shu’s ’New Boy’!”

With these words, the entire venue immediately fell silent,

Shortly after the prelude ended, she began singing:

Yes, I see sunshine everywhere

Happiness floats above the city

The new century arrives like a dream

Warming me up

...

Zhang Jingdong, in his past life, heard a girl’s version sung by Landlord’s Cat and was always impressed.

But at this moment, he was amazed to find that Xiao Fei sang even better than Landlord’s Cat!

And when her song ended, the venue once again erupted into unprecedented applause and cheers.

Then Xiao Fei playfully said, ”Next, I’ll perform ’The Main Love Song’ with a dance for everyone!”

Upon hearing this, the crowd went wild, all eyes intensely fixed on the stage.

At this moment, Zhang Jingdong suddenly felt a bit of regret.

Ah, what a miscalculation! How could I forget this!

While he was feeling deeply regretful, the guy next to him even pulled out a pair of binoculars!

Zhang Jingdong thought to himself how awesome that was, then after a brief thought, he said, ”Buddy, can I borrow your binoculars for a bit?”

”Are you kidding? This is Xiao Fei... huh?”

The man suddenly put down the binoculars and turned to look at Zhang Jingdong.

Because at that moment, he was shaking two 100 bills in his hand!

”I... I can actually see clearly without binoculars...”

Zhang Jingdong immediately smiled and slapped the money into his hand: ”I could tell you’re someone who could make a fortune!”

After saying that, he took the binoculars from him and watched with great interest.

It must be said that Xiao Fei really had charisma on stage, not only did she have stunning looks, but those long legs, that slender waist, that delicate collarbone...

The most crucial thing was, her dancing was almost of professional level!

Those kicks, that arched back, that arched back, that arched back... so arched!

This girl was simply bewitching!

Zhang Jingdong felt his throat getting a bit dry.

Tsk tsk, summer really does make you thirsty!

In the end, Xiao Fei finished her performance with an incredibly stunning waist-bending move, immediately igniting the venue with prolonged applause and cheers,

Easily making this the first and probably the biggest peak of the music festival!

Zhang Jingdong, still not having had enough, put down the binoculars, returned them to the guy beside him, and then promptly stood up to leave.

The guy couldn’t help but ask, ”Buddy, aren’t you watching anymore?”

Zhang Jingdong smiled nonchalantly: ”Just watching is too boring, I’m going to get up close and personal with these two school beauties!”

”No way, buddy, it’s broad daylight, are you dreaming?”

Zhang Jingdong seemed not to hear that comment, directly went down the steps, headed to the registration site.
