As A Maid, I Can Fix Her!

Chapter 105: Chapter 3 - Daily Life As A Maid

My intensive training was completed quickly. I also provided guidance to Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg on the proper management of the youngest princess’s illness.

While it may seem forced, it would save the youngest princess from the ”Demon Princess” nickname from the other nobles, who bullying and try to tarnish her reputation as a menace princess.

As a princess without any supporters, I already feel sorry for her future if it really happen.

My actions might cause a butterfly effect that disrupts the novel’s storyline.

At least, it’s not a major plotline changing the main character route, so I don’t think my actions will make much of a lot difference in this alternative storyline.

Preventing small problem from getting bigger is much better than face it, right?

It would make me to survive a little bit longer as a maid of the Duke’s family, the second most powerful noble family after the royal family.

I returned to my room to grab a new maid uniform, took a quick shower, and prepared to wake the two Masters, who still sleeping in the guest room. The Head Maid had dragged me into the shadow world earlier than usual hours. The early morning hours, which should have been used in deep sleep, and become my precious time sleep, suddenly became an intensive training time.

With the increased difficulty, it should have taken a long time to complete.

However, I completed the challenge faster than Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg had planned.

Thanks to the help of the Duchess, who provided hints regarding magic that could be countered with magic, I got an idea about magic that was able to cut through with a magic. It was like oil and water opposing each other.

From any assumptions, it was clearly a fraudulent move by the Duchess, who wanted to win her bet. The arduous, intensive training must ended before the sun rise. It was still dark this morning; I’d already showered and eaten a delicious piece of smoked meat. There was no reason for me to be lazy in serving two Masters who were still sound asleep in the morning.

As I walked towards the guest room that Master Reina and Master Amagi used to sleep in, I saw a pair of night maids standing in front of the room’s door as if guarding it.

The guest room was in the deepest part of the Main Mansion; of course, the security would be tight like this.

Tap...

Tap...

With light steps, I approached the guest room door, taking a deep breath. Besides the intense training that felt demanding, there was another training I was undergoing as a maid apprentice.

”Your breathing is much heavier than during your training with Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg. Is serving Young Miss Reina and Young Miss Amagi very difficult?” The question came from one of the night maids guarding the guest-room entrance.

”I wouldn’t be going through this trouble if it were that easy,” I replied, straightening my maid uniform. I made sure my bow tie was tied properly and that I didn’t look too bad for serving noble.

”My condolences. Serving two Young Miss must require patience to understand their needs. I can understand that well.”

I just smiled and nodded my head, not a verbal answer that I gave, but rather an answer from my heart, which was starting to feel depressed by all of this.

My hand turned the doorknob of the guest room, while preparing my heart to face the sweet young miss who was still fast asleep.

Krrraaakkk...

The guest room door opened slowly. I could see Master Reina and Master Amagi still sound asleep. The morning air was chilly, which was why they were fighting over the thick blanket that should have been shared equally.

I involuntarily let out another long sigh, this time regarding their messy sleeping positions that revealed their smooth skin, which I shouldn’t have seen as a fellow girl.

I then stepped closer to Master Reina, who was sleeping with her mouth open, her drool almost falling from her mouth, and the strap of her nightgown was sagging until it was almost off, with her upper body exposed.

On the other hand, Master Amagi was sleeping in the same position, but still safe, as her upper body was covered by a thick blanket. The battle for the blanket seemed to be winning for Master Amagi.

”Just looking at it makes me tired,” I muttered as I lifted my left hand onto the bed to touch her, trying to wake Master Reina, who wasn’t used to waking up early with a soft whisper.

”Master Reina, it’s already morning...”

”Do you want to sleep a little longer and look at the latest photo of your mother teasing me again?” I asked, stroking her cheek with my right hand, while my left hand was busy fixing the strap of her nightgown that had fallen off.

Caress...

Caress...

With such gentle techniques, I doubt Master Reina will wake from her deep sleep. All I can do now is carry Master Reina into the bathroom and splash cold water on her face.

A faint smile spread across my face as I imagined Master Reina being startled by the cold water. With that thought, I quickly carried Master Reina on my back and hurried to the bathroom.

Kllaaappp...

When I went out carrying Master Reina on my back, it confused the two night maids who were in charge of guarding the guest rooms.

I don’t look like I’m kidnapping Master Reina, do I?

My footsteps led me to the deepest part of the Main Mansion. Thanks to the information the Head Maid had provided earlier, I already knew the layout of the main bathroom.

”H-Huuhh? L-Liliana?”

”Am I still dreaming?”

Because I was in a hurry to get to the master bathroom, my back carrier shook a little and woke Master Reina up.

Her soft, husky voice when she wakes up is so cute; it makes me smile.

”Good morning, Master Reina.”

”Did you sleep well last night?” I asked as I slowed down my pace.

Master Reina still looked sleepy. She rubbed her eyelids repeatedly and yawned in my back. Her cool face touched the back of my neck, brushed it with her soft lips, and gave me a surprise kiss.

Chhuupp...

The soft kiss left a mark on the back of my neck, faintly felt because Master Reina was still sleepy.

”What a strange dream...”

”Why do I feel like I’m being carried by Liliana to the bathroom?”

”Liliana wouldn’t throw me into a cold bath, right?”

Amidst her half-asleep murmurs, Master Reina perfectly guessed my intentions. It made me pause for a moment.

”Muu~ you intend to throw me into a cold bath, huh?” Master Reina grumbled in an annoyed tone.

Normally, she would be angry.

However, despite her sleepy state, she appears to be a calm and collected young miss.

Syyyuuuttt...

Syuuuttt...

The only thing she could do when she was sleepy was bite the back of my neck. It didn’t hurt. Her bite force was equivalent to a kitten playing with its owner’s hand. It was so cute it kept me smiling the whole way.

The bite ended once we reached the bathroom. Inside this luxurious royal bathroom, I saw the warm pool being used by Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld and Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg.

Oh, is this why I was told to come back early to take a shower and wake up my two Masters who were still sleeping?

They both took the opportunity to relax in the warm pool, with the Head Maid also soaking in her maid underwear.

”...” My sudden arrival surprised them.

”I thought there was a pervert who dared to enter the women’s bathroom. So it was you, Liliana.” With her casual words, the Duchess raised her hand.

Within three seconds of me entering the bathroom, Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg had already cast a magic spell that summoned a fiery spear that was ready to shoot towards me.

Cttiinngg!!

Cttiingg!!

My danger detection ability responded at a slow pace; one slight mistake and the fire spear would have already shot towards me.

Marchioness Shinano Vii Lichtberg’s fast chanting is not to be underestimated, huh?

My pale face let out a small sigh after seeing the Head Maid approach me, taking Master Reina, who was still sleepy, from my back.

”Weren’t you ordered to wake up Young Miss Reina and Young Miss Amagi, Liliana?”

”Why did you take Young Miss Reina to the bathroom?” asked the Head Maid as she removed Master Reina’s nightgown before throwing her body into the warm pool.

I turned my face away.

Staring at the Head Maid, who was suspicious of me, it was really scary to be looked at directly.

”I-I just wanted to wash Master Reina’s face with cold water to wake her up,” I answered in a low tone.

”Hoho... you’re thinking of throwing Young Miss Reina into the cold pool, right?”

”Urk!! N-No. Why I doing something like that?” I answered quickly to hide my true intentions.

For some reason, I felt like the Head Maid had guessed my thoughts perfectly. The mischievous I was about to pull ended abruptly with the Head Maid’s intervention.

The Head Maid approached me; she whispered in my ear about my failed plan.

”Unfortunately, you can’t do it after our Duchess complained of a cold in the morning.”

”Honestly, I’ve done the same thing as you long time ago. Waking up a noble lady by throwing her into a cold pool is the quickest way to wake her, isn’t it?” the Head Maid whispered, her lips brushing against my ear.

Gllaarrreee...

Gllaarrreee...

My back felt like it was being stabbed by an invisible knife from Duchess Adelheid Von Blutfeld. Master Reina did the same after her body was thrown into the warm pool by the Head Maid.

Gllaarrreee...

Gllaarrreee...

”What did you whisper to Liliana, Mell?” asked the Duchess with an eerie smile.

”Nothing, just to cover up Liliana jealousy, who wanted to soak in a warm bath in the morning. Unfortunately, she has already taken a bath and is ready to serve as a maid today,” replied the Head Maid, covering her lie without any gaps.

”Is that true, Liliana?” the Duchess continued, looking at me with a smile.

Glaarrreee...

Glaaaarrreee...

Her sharp red gaze made me nod my head quickly to admit it. ”Y-Yeesss...”
