I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 641: Chapter 75: Red Card! Sent Off! Stunned! (Part 2)

But this is also a shameful waste of Chen Zhong’s other abilities, and it’s a method of utilizing players without much technical content.

In Mourinho’s eyes, Chen Zhong should be the cornerstone and core of Real Madrid.

Build a team around Chen Zhong so that they can infinitely improve the team’s strength while ensuring a high enough baseline, instead of wasting him at the center forward position.

Of course, Mourinho can also understand the thoughts of the high-level management, perhaps because his ”neglect” of Chen Zhong at the beginning of the season led them to such a ”crooked idea.”

But Real Madrid’s management’s words, like saying Barcelona only has someone like Villa, are laughable.

Now Benzema can’t be compared to Villa in terms of personal ability and form.

Even Negredo can’t compare.

Everything Benzema shows in training and matches completely fails to meet Mourinho’s requirements, which is why Mourinho has consistently asked the club to bring in forwards.

Mourinho learned from the Real Madrid management that this winter, Real Madrid will definitely not sell Benzema, even if Benzema keeps wasting opportunities, even if many Real Madrid fans think he shouldn’t be given more chances and that Morata should be trained hard instead, possibly producing another Raul.

”XXXX!”

Mourinho spat out a curse, nearly unable to control himself from rushing into the field. If Francisco hadn’t held him tightly, he would have stormed onto the field.

”This should have been a penalty!”

”Damn it! We’re at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium!”

Mourinho said indignantly. Just moments ago, Kaka received a pass from Chen Zhong, charged into the penalty area, and was knocked down by a Sevilla player.

That was obviously a blatant foul, but the referee remained indifferent.

He even showed Kaka a yellow card.

Accusing Kaka of diving.

Kaka, diving?

Kaka showed a helpless yet radiant smile, clearly not understanding this decision.

However, the referee had no intention of explaining, while the booing from Real Madrid fans in the stands came in waves, nearly unbearable.

Faced with this situation, the referee persisted with his decision.

”This is another misjudgment.”

”The referee’s judgment level is extremely poor.”

”He will undoubtedly face media questioning after the match.”

”Hopefully, he wakes up amid the fans’ booing.”

”From the replay, we can clearly see that it was an obvious foul.”

”Mourinho made a substitution adjustment.”

”Negredo replaced Benzema.”

”It’s clear Mourinho is very dissatisfied with Benzema’s performance.”

When Benzema left the field, Real Madrid fans in the stands did not hold back their boos and flaunted white handkerchiefs, marking his performance in this match.

Statistics show Benzema had no shots, no key passes, no tackles, was offside eight times, had only fifteen passes, ten were faulty, eleven were intercepted.

Mourinho substituted him out only at this point, showing great patience.

”Sevilla’s attack.”

”Ruiz-Alberto takes the ball.”

”Passes it to the center.”

”Fabiano!”

”The referee blows the whistle.”

”What is this???”

Real Madrid fans in the stands have gone completely mad, they couldn’t believe their eyes, even Cavaleiro widened his eyes and raised his hands looking at the referee.

The referee showed another yellow card, perhaps without realizing what this yellow card represented.

It’s already Cavaleiro’s second yellow card!

”Will he pull out a card?”

”Cavaleiro already had one yellow card!”

”Did he show a card?”

”He really showed it!”

”This match, although some judgments caused chaos, there were controversies.”

”But for offsides, mainly the linesman’s flag had several errors, not much to do with the referee.”

”However, especially the string of judgments after Kaka’s fall, fans’ anger is palpable.”

”Because each card against Real Madrid is very debatable.”

”Not to mention, at the 62nd minute, Cavaleiro’s elbowing, referee Gomez showed a second yellow and sent him off.”

”From the slow-motion, we can’t be sure Cavaleiro deliberately elbowed. This kind of backward leap header, elbow extension is often subconscious, hard to say it must be hitting the opponent.”

”Then why did Fabiano fall?”

”Simple reason: His back of the head collided with Cavaleiro’s forehead.”

”Of course, was the referee’s judgment necessarily wrong?”

”There’s a big problem, but if we’re nitpicking details, blame Cavaleiro for leaping too forcefully, giving the referee grounds for judgment.”

”Such calls can go either way, entirely at the referee’s discretion.”

Some veteran fans clearly understand this, and they grumble in front of the TV, evidently disgusted by having a referee on the field.

”Oh oh oh oh oh!”

”Ouch! Ouch ouch!”

”Again!”

”Casillas!”

”Chen Zhong dodged a bullet!”

”My goodness!”

”This!”

”The referee has utterly gone mad!”

”Players questioning the judgment, especially red card judgments, are actually normal.”

”Before Casillas arrived, Real Madrid players had surrounded.”

”Chen Zhong was rushing over straight away.”

”But Casillas came earlier, signaling other players to let him take charge, to be the spokesperson.”

”Although Real Madrid’s captain is Chen Zhong, Casillas obviously had his own thoughts.”

”Result, after Casillas squeezed in, hadn’t spoken much, the referee instantly showed him a yellow card...”

The ensuing judgments already show a bias against Real Madrid, Casillas had doubts about Cavaleiro’s judgment. Note before Casillas came up, other Real Madrid players were already surrounding, and when Casillas came and pulled them away, he got the yellow card.

Casillas looked at the referee, feeling somewhat dazed.

The booing from the Real Madrid stands expressed their dissatisfaction, while Casillas couldn’t hear a thing, just stared blankly at the yellow card shown to him by the referee.

Ever since the conflict with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Strongly defending his girlfriend, Casillas naturally received his girlfriend’s ”full hospitality,” and in this tender moment, Casillas’ girlfriend posed a soul-searching question.

He’s Spanish, a Real Madrid youth product, entered the first team earlier than Chen Zhong, and is a newly crowned world champion goalkeeper, acclaimed by many fans as the world’s first goalkeeper.

So, why can’t the captain of Real Madrid be him?

Why is it Chen Zhong?

Although Casillas didn’t respond to his girlfriend at the time, the question planted a seed in his mind.

And just now, when the team had disagreements, he proactively approached and negotiated with the referee, as a subtle ”declaration of sovereignty,” quietly testing the waters.

Result, Chen Zhong and the referee were harmonious in several exchanges, but when he approached, even helping the referee calm teammates, hadn’t spoken more than a few words, only subtly expressed protest.

Result: immediate yellow card.

Casillas: ???
