I Am Scouted by Real Madrid

Chapter 618: Chapter 64: Sponsorship, the New C. Ronaldo

”Why is Real Madrid participating in the FIFA Club World Cup?”

”You don’t know that? Have you heard about Baba Ali? It’s from China, they’ve sponsored the FIFA Club World Cup.”

”This year’s FIFA Club World Cup is held in Spain, and the host nation can have one extra spot. Real Madrid is the recipient of this spot.”

As Chen Zhong’s reputation in the football world grows, Chinese capital has started to intervene in European football in various ways. For example, the currently strong Atletico Madrid under Simeone is favored by Chinese capital.

Rumor has it that China’s WD is interested in investing in Atletico Madrid, which will improve their finances.

The national derby between Barcelona and Real Madrid is the last match of La Liga in November. The calendar turns to December, and for different people, this month has different significance.

For strong contenders for the Ballon d’Or, this month is their last chance to sprint towards the honor.

And for some clubs, it’s also a turning point to reverse their fate.

The first game in December, Real Madrid will face Valencia at home.

Valencia has performed well this season, with strong players like Roberto Soldado, Juan Mata, Jordi Alba, Joaquin, and Stankovic, some of whom are over 190 cm tall.

Mourinho isn’t too worried about facing Valencia, and he demonstrated this trait in Valencia’s routine press conference. He didn’t talk much about Valencia, but he taunted his rival Guardiola: ”I’m used to being treated differently. For example, in the last match when Guardiola touched the ball, if it were me, I might get a red card.”

”Yes, it’s so strange, others can, but I can’t touch the ball. Others can, but I can’t complain to 4 referees. Others can. For me, or it’s a badge, not a ticket.”

After answering this question, Mourinho naturally couldn’t avoid mentioning Chen Zhong. When someone asked him if Chen Zhong saved his coaching career and helped him avoid defeat at Camp Nou, Mourinho laughed and said: ”You know, I always have a second plan, and what you see is what I want you to see.”

”Chen is an excellent player, his performance on the field completely met my expectations.”

”There’s no concept of who saves who between Chen and me, we will succeed together.”

This topic left the reporters speechless, so they shifted their focus to the team’s center forward position.

This season, Real Madrid’s center forward position is filled with four players.

Negredo, Higuain, Benzema, Morata.

And in Castilla, a tall center forward named Joselu has also attracted attention.

However, compared to Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka on the wing.

Chen Zhong and Alonso in the midfield.

These five center forwards always feel somewhat outshined.

If you have to say who is the tallest among the short players in these five, then the somewhat criticized Higuain is the tall one, and he is the top scorer in the center forward position.

Far more than the current Real Madrid number 9 center forward Negredo.

Recently, there have been rumors that Negredo might leave Real Madrid.

Manchester City is looking to purchase this Spanish center forward.

And the reporters now ask about Higuain because many fans believe this player is the chosen one for Real Madrid’s number 9. Coincidentally, there are recent rumors that Higuain might be injured.

”Is he injured?”

”That’s the medical team’s work.”

”Use Benzema to replace Negredo, or put in Morata?”

”Obviously, you are not Real Madrid players.”

After defeating Barcelona, Mourinho gains momentum.

If previously there were discussions on whether Guardiola or Mourinho was the top coach, now more people lean towards Mourinho. Mourinho once again becomes the ”top coach.”

After discussing these issues, Mourinho finally shows some generosity and talks about Valencia.

”Really.” Mourinho pouting and sitting with a strange expression: ”Although football is like a boomerang, you don’t know when it will fly away and come back.”

”But it won’t be a few days from now, during the time when we’ve had enough rest.”

”I hope Barcelona can pick themselves up from failure, after all, being close to victory and losing in the end must be hard.”

”Of course, Valencia is a strong opponent.”

”But we’ve just defeated Barcelona.”

While Mourinho is surrounded by reporters, Chen Zhong has already gone to the Sports City to chat with the ”successors,” carrying some tasks as well.

Walking into the familiar environment, every young face that sees him reveals two words: excitement.

And Nacho, Carvajal, and other youth training elites crowd around Chen Zhong, introducing the hottest person recently.

Jose Rodriguez Ruiz, known as Jesé, born on February 26, 1993, in Las Palmas, Spain, this young man seems somewhat prematurely mature, although younger than Chen Zhong, he already shows signs of balding.
