I Married the President

Chapter 242: Chapter 242: As Long As You Like It

Henry Hartwell was no slouch himself. He casually raised his DSLR camera and snapped a photo to commemorate the couple’s shameless PDA.

”SNAP...” The sound of the shutter rang out. The Great Demon King Quincy, lost in a deep kiss, didn’t react at all, but it caught Claire Sinclair’s attention.

Claire Sinclair shot a sideways glance at the camera lens. She was about to say something, but just as she opened her mouth, he slipped his tongue inside.

’I can’t... This is suffocating...’

Claire Sinclair looked pleadingly at the handsome face just inches from hers, her eyes begging for release.

How could Adrian Quincy bear to see such a look in her eyes? As reluctant as he was, he released her. But before pulling away, he couldn’t resist greedily licking the sweetness from her lips.

Henry Hartwell stopped watching them, his gaze falling to the photo on his camera, looking quite pleased with himself. ”A hundred bucks for this photo. Pay up, and I’ll send it to you. Don’t pay, and I’ll either post it publicly or keep it for my private collection. Your call.”

Just as Claire Sinclair started to speak, a thumb pressed against her lips. Adrian’s captivating voice sounded by her ear, though his words were for Henry, ”Let’s see if you or that camera makes it out of this door safely.”

Henry Hartwell raised an eyebrow. ”Young Master Quincy, that’s a bit harsh. I came all this way just to take your pictures. You could at least—”

He couldn’t finish his sentence before Adrian Quincy shot him a death glare.

”Fine, fine. I’ll send you the photo later. Claire Sinclair, how do you want to shoot these promotional photos?”

When it came to business, Claire Sinclair knew better than to be careless. She quickly wriggled out of Adrian’s embrace, her expression turning serious.

”I want it to have an epic feel—solemn, dignified, sacred and inviolable. Mr. Quincy is the face of Quincy Manor. We’ll also have Aiden Howkins and Nancy, and maybe a few other people in the Quincy Manor uniform. They’ll have their backs to Mr. Quincy, to subtly convey Quincy Manor’s ethos of working discreetly, of being masters behind the scenes who don’t seek fame.”

Henry Hartwell seemed to grasp her concept. He chuckled, ”You young people have the best ideas. Us old-timers could never think of something so avant-garde.”

Claire Sinclair blushed a little at the praise and turned to the man who hadn’t said a word. ”Mr. Quincy, do you think that would work?”

Ever since the day she’d said yes, Adrian Quincy had willingly become completely devoted to her. He agreed with a nod, barely pausing to think.

”As long as you like it.”

”...”

’This guy was unbelievable.’

To avoid wasting everyone’s time, Claire Sinclair decided to start with a test shoot. ”Alright, let’s begin. I’ve already picked the location—out in the main hall. Teacher Hartwell, could I trouble you to set up a ladder? I want you to shoot from above to capture the Quincy Manor emblem sculpture.”

”Got it. I’ll go get set up. You guys hurry on out too.”

Henry Hartwell left with his camera.

As Claire Sinclair started to follow, Adrian Quincy reached out and caught her by the wrist. ”Claire, wait.”

Claire Sinclair looked back at him curiously. ”What is it?”

Adrian Quincy slowly raised a large, cool hand to brush her hair back. ”Stay the night?”

”No,” Claire Sinclair rejected him flatly.

’Just a few days ago, he’d left her knees so bruised she couldn’t let anyone see them. They were still a bit purple. If she stayed tonight, she’d no doubt be aching all over again. She couldn’t handle that.’

”I won’t touch you without your permission.”

”Liar! You kissed me right in front of Teacher Hartwell just a minute ago!”

Adrian Quincy’s brow furrowed slightly. ”And you were unwilling just now?”

”I...” ’It wasn’t that I was unwilling, it’s just a bad look to be kissing in front of my superior.’

’Although, Teacher Hartwell didn’t seem to mind at all...’
