Ghost Catching System

Chu Hao believed that if the Ghost Mother hadn’t fully recovered, Zhao Yun might have stood a chance against her. Chu Hao was thoroughly satisfied.

Just then, someone knocked on the door. Chu Hao asked Zhao Yun to return to the System Space and said, ”Come in.”

The door opened, and Zang Aihua walked in. She wore a new outfit of thin, slightly translucent material. The exaggerated makeup on her face, although she had removed much of it, was still heavily applied. Chu Hao was visibly taken aback.

What is Zang Aihua up to?

Zang Aihua came in carrying a platter of fruit. The fruits were black and gray, similar to grapes—a type of fruit from the Underworld. Zang Aihua’s pale face flushed slightly, looking awkward from any angle. After all, she was a ghost, and her face shifting from red to white was quite frightening.

”Sect Master, do you still remember what you said today?” she asked.

Chu Hao was somewhat baffled. ”What did I say?”

Zang Aihua’s face reddened further. ”You’re really annoying. Sect Master, you said that this place is yours, and so am I.”

Dammit, when had Brother Hao ever said such a thing?

Zang Aihua approached the edge of the bed, shy yet excited, and began to crawl toward Chu Hao in a seductive manner.

Chu Hao was startled. It wasn’t that he disliked women, but she wasn’t human; she was a ghost. Besides, her face was terribly unsightly, making it hard for Brother Hao to bring himself to do anything.

Even so, Chu Hao felt a tiny bit excited.

I really do have an irresistible charm, Brother Hao thought, receiving immense attention no matter where I am.

As she drew nearer, Chu Hao quickly said, ”Wait, I’m not feeling well today and need to rest.”

Only then did Zang Aihua stop, looking dejected. ”But Sect Master, it’s been so long for me.”

Chu Hao was speechless. Are the female ghosts of the Underworld all so liberal? It’s not urgent for you either; let Brother Hao take a moment.

Chu Hao, with a stern face, said, ”When I feel like it, I will naturally tell you. Go back now. That’s an order.”

Zang Aihua’s heart trembled slightly. For some reason, when Chu Hao gave an order, she felt an irresistible urge to obey. She nodded her head slightly before retreating.

After Zang Aihua left, Chu Hao couldn’t help but shiver.

Dammit, coming to the Underworld and nearly getting up to something with a female ghost! Just thinking about it is terrifying.

Hmph! With your looks, your face going from white to red like an actor in a play, how could you compare to my Baby Diao Chan or Baby Qinglian? Dream on if you think you can have a fling with me!

「Meanwhile.」

The entire Fengdu was gloomy. The sky, much dimmer than before and devoid of any color, seemed to be the Netherworld’s night.

In a room in Fengdu, the owner had already been devoured by Yan Chen. Yan Chen licked his lips, looking over at Yan Furong by the window. Yan Furong was observing the streets through the window. Many ”people” still walked about, and various patrolling cars sounded non-stop.

Yan Furong took a deep breath and said, ”If I’m not mistaken, this should be Fengdu.”

She couldn’t believe it. Jumping into the altar with Chu Hao had actually brought her to the Underworld.

Yan Chen said excitedly, ”Fengdu! It’s full of ghosts here. If I could devour them, Chu Hao would be nothing compared to me.”

Yan Furong coldly replied, ”You know what kind of place Fengdu is. I can assure you, if you start eating ghosts in large quantities, your fate will be no better than the treatment in the Eighteen Layers of Hell.”

Only then did Yan Chen fall silent, his face turning ugly. ”Chu Hao, how did he do it? And how do we get back to the Yang Realm now?”

Yan Furong rubbed her temples; she was incredibly irritable. The entire day had been filled with incredible events. First, she was chased by the Ghost Mother. Then, in the Land of the Vast Ancient, she witnessed the Foreign Ghost Army, especially a colossal Foreign Ghost twenty meters tall—it was utterly terrifying.

Yan Furong thought for a moment and said, ”The only way back to the Yang Realm is through the Ghost Gate Pass, but that place is very dangerous. We must get a Ghost Officiant to help us.”

Yan Chen said, ”In that case, let’s capture a Ghost Officiant. We can’t just stay here indefinitely.”

Yan Furong shook her head. ”Capture a Ghost Officiant? You say it so lightly. Once we alert them, it will be very dangerous.”

Yan Chen frowned. ”So what do we do now?”

Yan Furong said, ”There are two methods. The first is to find Chu Hao. He can come to the Underworld and also go back, but this method won’t work. Our situation with Chu Hao is no longer the same as before.”

Yan Chen shook his head too. The thought of seeking out Chu Hao, begging him to take them with him as he left the Underworld, was something he couldn’t do. In Yan Chen’s heart, his hatred for Chu Hao had seeped into his bone marrow. To kill Chu Hao, he had willingly practiced the Corpse Devil Technique, making himself neither human nor ghost.

Yan Chen asked, ”What’s the second method?”

Yan Furong answered, ”We can only reach out to the Yang Realm. There is an uncle-master on Kunlun Mountain whose power reaches the heavens. He knows Ghost Officiants of the Underworld and can get one of them to take us out of here.”

This method was feasible.

Yan Furong continued, ”I need some materials. You go out and look for them. Just don’t alert the patrolling Ghost Officiants. Also, restrain yourself.”

Yan Chen replied, ”Don’t worry.”

In Fengdu, in a corner of Area 17, the Ghost Lady hid within a courtyard, her complexion deathly pale. However, the Ghost Lady’s face changed to another appearance—the Ghost Mother!

After fleeing to Fengdu from the Land of the Vast Ancient, the Ghost Mother was discovered possessing a human body. This was a grave offense in the Underworld, and she was immediately wanted by Fengdu. Now, all the patrolling Ghost Officiants were after her.

The Ghost Mother also found it unbelievable; she had actually come to the Underworld. With her sins from the Yang Realm, if captured, she would definitely be sent to the Eighteen Layers of Hell, never to find salvation.

With a cold and grim expression, the Ghost Mother said in pain, ”My child, I could not avenge you. But rest assured, once I escape from here, I will definitely kill them all.”

Raising her power was imperative for the Ghost Mother now. Her strength had significantly weakened after conceiving the Ghost King Fetus; otherwise, Chu Hao and the others would have been dead by now.

「Moreover.」

In the Eighteen Layers of Hell of the Yin Cao Netherworld.

In Black Rope Hell, there are also sixteen small hells. One of them is called Gouge Out Eye Hell, supervised by the Divine Deity, Sword Star Lord. Sword Star Lord, the Divine Deity in charge of Gouge Out Eye Hell, had not managed this place for long.

After the Song Emperor’s rebellion, there was considerable unrest in Black Rope Hell, and Sword Star Lord was also transferred to manage one of the small hells in Black Rope Hell. The Sword Star Lord emerged from the halls of his abode. His fangs and sharp teeth, the gills on the back of his hands, and the black scales that emitted a chilling gleam all indicated his nature: he was a frenzied shark demon from the deep sea, having cultivated for countless years and undergone several cycles of reincarnation to become an Underworld Deity.

The Sword Star Lord could feel that the Ghost Token he had given to Chu Hao had reacted. Chu Hao, you’ve actually come to the Yin Cao Netherworld? Sword Star Lord’s face was expressionless.

Last time, his divine avatar had gone to the Yang Realm, only to be detained and thoroughly beaten by Chu Hao—an ordeal that nearly infuriated him to death. He had even suggested that if Chu Hao came to the Underworld to find him, he would help him enter the Great Netherworld. In return, Chu Hao was to help him become Yanjun. Of course, half of those words were true and the other half were false. Entering the Great Netherworld was difficult, but his desire to become Yanjun was genuine.

Where are you exactly?
