Abandoned Woman Busy Farming

Chapter 2576: Chapter 2577: Offering Ideas

Qiu Zhi saw her like this and said with a smile, ”We’re not really going to slaughter until blood flows like a river, the Master has already arranged the retreat plan.”

”What retreat plan?” Shanhu asked curiously.

Qiu Zhi thought for a moment, ”The Master has quite a few amazing tricks, even I can use Taoist Magic to send you all away.”

Shanhu glared at him, ”You can send us away, but you can’t leave yourself. Are you planning to stay here and wait to die?”

Qiu Zhi hee-heed foolishly, ”Feeling sorry for me, are you?”

Shanhu’s face instantly flushed red to her neck, angrily giving him a glare, ”Who’s feeling sorry for you? Stop being so vain!”

Qiu Zhi had become smarter now. Xiaoyuan said women always say the opposite of what they mean, but this notion stayed in his heart. He wouldn’t deliberately say it to annoy Shanhu.

Shanhu didn’t get caught up in the sympathy issue, seriously telling him, ”I don’t care, you mustn’t act recklessly. Ruozhu has plenty of ways; don’t you risk your life by acting rashly.”

”Okay, okay, I won’t act recklessly,” Qiu Zhi said with a smile, thinking that she indeed was worried about him. Women were indeed contradictory.

The ”crisis” at the posthouse was resolved, and Bai Ruozhu and the others had learned quite a bit about the happenings of the past few days, including the conversations at the Court Assembly.

”Haha, that official really knows how to speak, finding a way out for Chisong. Otherwise, who knows how long he would have dragged on,” Gao Zhou couldn’t help but express. ”Officials know how to talk, indeed.”

”That official is Yaxi’s father, and Ruozhu befriending him unknowingly helped us,” Jiang Yichun said with a smile, clearly implying: My wife is just amazing.

Bai Ruozhu nodded with a smile, ”Fangzi’s father also helped by speaking up, that’s the result of sowing good seeds and reaping good fruits; helping Fangzi before indirectly helped us.”

Everyone laughed; even if things developed to the worst situation, they weren’t afraid, but none of them wanted to ultimately sneak away from Kyoto.

As a group talked, Yaxi, Fangzi, and Miao Zi came to visit Bai Ruozhu.

Bai Ruozhu led them to her own room to chat and drink tea, and after chatting for a while, Yaxi suddenly asked, ”I heard about Miaoluo, was I fainting that day not due to Qi Blood deficiency?”

”You did have some Qi Blood deficiency, I didn’t lie to you, nor did I give you random medicine. But those were indeed the items with which I discovered Miaoluo’s identity. At the time, it wasn’t clear who she really was, and fearing she might suddenly harm you, I used some medicine,” Bai Ruozhu briefly explained.

Yaxi wasn’t angry, just felt quite emotional, ”I’ve been acquainted with Miaoluo for years, but never realized the later one was a fake. However, I also saw Anzhen Family’s Lingzi before, yet somehow couldn’t connect the scenes.”

Bai Ruozhu gave a self-deprecating smile, ”Not just you, Lingzi was previously sent by Anben to infiltrate the Black Pirate Ship. We rescued her from the Black Pirate Ship, and she stayed by my side for quite a while. Had it not been for unveiling the human skin mask, I would never have guessed she was pretending to be Miaoluo.”

”Where has she gone now?” Fangzi asked.

”She should be seeking her birth parents, right? She’s also a pitiable person, always used by Anben, even having her birth father’s leg broken by Anben, and her parents sent off somewhere on the sea. Although she’s Anben’s person, she didn’t really do anything to harm me,” Bai Ruozhu also felt emotional, ”Hope she smoothly finds her parents.”

The room full of girls continued chatting for a while, and Miao Zi shyly said, ”Yaxi and I plan to start some business, then use the money we earn to help ’Snowmen’ like me.”

The Fusang people know little about albinism, calling people like Miao Zi ”Snowmen.”

”This is a good thing, if there’s anything you need from me, just let me know.”

Bai Ruozhu thought of the fresh soup powder business, thinking of letting Yaxi’s family take the lead in doing it, but soon she dismissed this idea. Yaxi’s father is a civil officer, though the family has some background, it’s not comparable to military officers, much less to She Zongyi. Letting Yaxi’s family do this might harm them.

If, when they leave Fusang, She Zongyi or others seek revenge or out of greed, wouldn’t it harm Yaxi’s family?

Thinking of this, Bai Ruozhu decided to help in another way.

”We plan to make some origami crafts, also teach the ’Snowmen’ being helped to do origami, then sell the works, and use the money earned to help ’Snowmen,’” Miao Zi said enthusiastically, losing her usual inferiority and shyness.

Bai Ruozhu nodded repeatedly, she felt these ideas were excellent and comforting to see the three girls thinking of helping others.

”This idea is great; you could also try some research. Origami crafts are not limited to paper, nor just as crafts,” Bai Ruozhu suggested.

Miao Zi was a bit puzzled, ”How are they not limited?”

”Let me give an example: you can explore new materials, like using sturdy leather to make them, so they last longer than paper, also imparting leather’s unique texture. Not limited to crafts means creating more items for convenient usage, like handbags, clothes,”

Bai Ruozhu took out a woven bag from Hua Xiangrong and showed it to the three, ”I bought this handbag in Danliang Country. I see you carry small pouches when wearing kimonos. What if the pouches incorporated origami art?”

This suddenly opened the minds of the three, yet they still couldn’t imagine how origami related to clothes.

Bai Ruozhu smiled and took paper and pen, asking Teng Ya to help grind ink, soon sketching simply on paper.

She used lines to roughly outline a kimono design, then added an origami crane on the shoulder, ”This crane’s material can be stiffer fabric, or leather.”

She also outlined the edge of the skirt, ”The skirt can also have an origami feel, like a pleated skirt, more ideas for you to discover yourselves.”

She could help them only so much; the rest needed their creativity, like her Hua Xiangrong, initially her design, but later wholly the effort of Fusa and the workers below, she didn’t manage too much, which wasn’t conducive to their growth.

”Okay, we’ll definitely consider! These ideas are fantastic!” Fangzi exclaimed joyfully, ”I really want to wear such clothing; it must look great!”

”Could we add more origami works for embellishment on clothes?” Miao Zi also asked happily.

”Certainly, you’ll decide specifically; whatever feels beautiful,” Bai Ruozhu said with a smile.

The whole room of girls cheered up, and Miao Zi even said, ”Mrs. Bai, I’ll make one right away and send the first kimono to you!”

Bai Ruozhu hurriedly waved her hand, ”Just send me a small item, like a hair accessory with origami elements. I’m not used to wearing kimonos.”

Everyone laughed. At this time, Danliang Country’s clothing with narrow sleeves was indeed conducive to movement.
