Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

When the four girls saw Ye Jian coming in, their black eyes moved slightly. They saw Ye Jian, but there were no emotions on their faces. Even their expressions were numb.

They had been hungry for too long. They were so hungry that they didn’t even have the energy to look up at people. They even thought that it was better to die as soon as possible than to starve day by day.

The iron door creaked closed. Ye Jian, who was thrown in like a rag, waited until she couldn’t hear the footsteps outside before slowly getting up and moving to the four girls.

Her arrival made the girls, who were motionless like wooden stakes, move a little. They looked at Ye Jian and saw the bag in her arms.

Ye Jian was still thinking about how to communicate with her when suddenly, a skinny girl walked past the two girls in front of her and pounced on Ye Jian.

She pounced on Ye Jian and said something. She reached out and grabbed the bag in Ye Jian’s arms tightly.

Although she was very fast, Ye Jian immediately hugged the bag tightly when she realized her intention. She didn’t let the skinny girl snatch the bag away.

Besides clothes, there was nothing else in the bag. The temperature in the mountains was very low at night. She was hungry all the way here yet didn’t fall sick. It was because she relied on the few thick clothes in the bag to resist the cold.

Her clothes could not be snatched away.

”Let go, let go, let go!” The skinny little girl said in a low voice. She wanted to live. ”Let go! Do you hear me?

”I want food, I want food! Let go”

She glared at Ye Jian. Her eyes, which were as dull as stagnant water, changed again and again. It was no longer filled with despair. All her hopes were ignited. There seemed to be a ball of fire burning in her eyes. It let Ye Jian see her desire to live.

Ye Jian didn’t understand what she was saying at all. She only knew that she was snatching her bag. The more she wanted to snatch it, the more Ye Jian didn’t want to give it to her. She hugged it tightly and shouted in Chinese, ”What do you want? Let go! This is mine, this is mine!”

In the end, both of them fell to the ground. Not only did they use their hands, but they also used their legs.

The skinny girl couldn’t beat Ye Jian. She had no choice but to call for reinforcements. In the Burmese dialect, she shouted at the three girls who were just looking at her. ”Why aren’t you moving? She must have food on her! Aren’t you hungry? Don’t you want to eat? Don’t you want to live?”

A girl’s expression changed. The skinny girl’s words piqued her interest.

She was hungry too. She wanted to eat. She wanted to survive.

Another older girl pulled her back and shook her head gently. The two of them looked similar. They might be sisters. The remaining girl closed her eyes. She was trembling in fear.

Ye Jian only knew that the other party suddenly raised her voice and screamed. She used all her strength in this scream. At the highest point, her voice suddenly fell. Then, she didn’t have the strength to snatch the bag in Ye Jian’s arms anymore. She finally let go.

When she realized that she didn’t have the energy to snatch the bag anymore, her eyes widened and her facial features turned hideous. She pounced on Ye Jian crazily.

”Food, food, I want food! I want to eat…”

She kept repeating the same words.

She was so hungry that she would make do even if it was just a drop of water.

Ye Jian vaguely knew what she wanted to do.

Ye Jian, who was retreating step by step, looked a little flustered as she opened the bag. She took out a few clothes and shook them forcefully. She used her actions to tell the other party that she had no food in her bag.
