Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian was currently studying important information in Cheli city of Yun Province. After completing his mission, Xia Jinyuan found out that his girlfriend was sent by Major General Yang to Yun Province for a mission.

Xia Jinyuan, whose eyes were bloodshot, sat in Major General Yang’s office in casual clothes and waited for him to come back.

His mission this time was to join forces with the Russian special forces, the Signal Flag. The person he worked with was none other than Luke, who had destroyed Cobra with him. The two of them once again joined forces to blow up an underground nuclear bomb in a certain Western country. After the bomb was blown up, the two of them immediately left and went home.

The first thing Xia Jinyuan did when he returned to the country was not to return to the military unit. He had gotten some information and needed to submit it to the military. Then, the military would pass it to the relevant research department to see if they could extract any useful information from this information.

Major General Yang was having a video conference with an armored regiment of the army. When he knew that Xia Jinyuan, who was supposed to return to the base, was waiting for him in his office, he immediately knew that his proudest subordinate must have something important to report to him.

The meeting started at 1:30 pm and ended at 4:00 pm. Major General Yang packed the information on his desk and hurriedly said a few words to the general who participated in the meeting. Then, he rushed to his office.

Xia Jinyuan, who arrived at the military headquarters at around 2:00 pm, was too tired. As he waited, he simply lay on the couch in the office to rest. He slept until Major General Yang’s meeting ended.

The lock of the door was twisted. The young soldier sleeping on the couch opened his eyes. A cold and sharp look flashed past his eyes. When he got up, the cold and sharp look disappeared into the depths of his eyes.

”Are you asleep?”

Major General Yang pushed the door open and saw Xia Jinyuan’s bloodshot eyes. Smiling, he walked in. ”Do you want to continue sleeping? I still have a few documents to deal with.”

He wasn’t teasing Xia Jinyuan. He was suggesting that Xia Jinyuan sleep for a while more.

When they went overseas for high-risk missions, they would have to be vigilant 24/7. They wouldn’t let themselves fall asleep easily.

Xia Jinyuan’s mission this time was special. It was impossible for him to have a good rest.

Xia Jinyuan, who had sat up, stood up and poured himself a glass of cold water. The cold water flowed into his throat, and the cold touch cleared his mind.

”I slept for two hours. It’s about time,” he replied in a hoarse voice. ”I got some information from the underground database, and it’s all related to big bombs. I took it out to see if it’s useful to our country.”

Some developed countries in the West had military reserves that were far stronger than China’s. It was the same for firearms and weapons. If not, how could they be called developed countries? China was still a developing country.

Major General Yang’s expression turned serious. ”Was there a problem?”

”No.” Xia Jinyuan took off his jacket and tore open the inside. The information he took back from the underground warehouse was all in a small chip he took out. ”Let the relevant departments take a look. It’ll probably be useful.”

Major General Yang took the chip and nodded solemnly. ”Okay, thank you for your hard work.”

”It was a little tough, but since you agreed to my request, it was still worth it.” Xia Jinyuan yawned without caring about his image. He saw the stiffness on Major General Yang’s face. He was only halfway through his yawn when he held himself back. ”Your expression tells me that the matter I needed you to do… has fallen through?”

It wasn’t a question. It was an affirmative statement.
