Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Xia Jinyuan’s letter to J5 wasn’t very emotional. He talked about trivial matters in the team. Just like every time he or J5 came back from a mission, the people in the team would talk about the trivial matters in the team.

It could be considered a casual conversation.

[Two days ago, I said that I had to go to Xiang City to bring Azure Bird to the team for training. Then, I’ll go to your house to visit Uncle and Aunt. I’ll also bring wine for you and ask them if they have anything to say to you. In the end, the brothers treated me as a postman. The next day, after the training ended, they lined up to send me letters. I almost thought that all of them had girlfriends they wanted to write to.

[After you receive the letter, you should at least appear in our dreams. Tell them that you’ve received their letters.]

…

There were three pages of the letter in his hand. The words were all handwritten. Xia Jinyuan’s handwriting was beautiful. Every stroke was smooth and elegant. The three pages were filled with words written with a fountain pen. Every word revealed his brotherhood with J5.

[Nothing new has happened in the past two years. Besides G3 getting married and becoming a father, T6 found a girlfriend. The bachelors are still bachelors. They’re still taking care of themselves.

[It wasn’t easy for us to arrange a blind date for the entire team, but in the end, these cowards didn’t dare to talk to the ladies. The political director later asked the boss if the soldiers arranged this time had mouth diseases. He even complained that the boss was too bad at arranging things and wasted a lot of resources.

[That’s why on the first day I came back from my mission, I chased this group of cowards out of their beds and made them run ten kilometers with weights overnight.

[They’re a bunch of cowards who stutter when they see ladies. Brother, you have to bless them to find a partner as soon as possible. Otherwise, they might really become monks…]

He flipped through the letter page by page. At the end, he wrote: [Xia Jinyuan, June 27, 2002.]

After reading the letter, green veins appeared on the back of Xia Jinyuan’s hands that were holding the letter. He used a lot of strength to hold the letter. The papers were already wrinkled.

There was another letter placed quietly by the corner of the desk. Xia Jinyuan’s gaze definitely froze slightly. There was a faint smile on his thin lips. He tilted his upper body and reached out to take the forgotten letter. It wasn’t written to J5 by his comrades. It was a love letter written to Ye Jian by her suitor.

Xia Jinyuan opened the letter and read it. He raised his eyebrows many times and sneered from time to time.

Good lad! He actually had a crush on his girlfriend for so long! He still wanted to be with her for the rest of his life?

Xia Jinyuan would shatter this guy’s hope once and for all!

Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk… Soar to new heights together? Was he a bird? In that case, that would be easy. Xia Jinyuan would shoot the guy down with a flick of his bow and pluck his feathers. He would fry this ’bird’ with green peppers, red peppers, and garlic. Then, Xia Jinyuan would eat the ’bird’! How would he fly then?

With every sentence in the love letter, Lieutenant Colonel Xia gritted his teeth and retorted. He was… very jealous!

After reading it, he put down the letter and slapped it with one hand. Lieutenant Colonel Xia almost fainted from jealousy.

After tidying up the letters his comrades wrote to J5, he muttered to himself, ”Brother, you’re right. My girlfriend is getting more and more admirers. I caught someone in the act today. This kid has some skills. The love letter he wrote is a little touching…

”Fortunately, I made the first move and got the beauty early. If not, I’d still be single like those cowards.”
