Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

They had already mentioned a few genres. They only left out romance and horror. Horror films would produce some inappropriate scenes, so they wouldn’t be shown. As for romance, they hadn’t watched those movies in the military school for the past three years!

Not to mention the third-year students, even the fourth-year students had not seen it!

The third and fourth-year students didn’t ask at all. The first-year students asked excitedly while the second-year students surrounded them.

Ye Jian’s class was the first to know what movie they were watching tonight.

”Romance movie? Is it really a romance movie? No way! Instructor, are you sure you want to watch a romance movie tonight? Are you lying to us?”

”I’m in my third year of military school. I’m so lucky to be able to watch a romance movie in school. I’m satisfied!”

”It used to be impossible, but it’s happening now. We’re watching a romance movie in school. This can be recorded in our class’ history books.”

”Thank you to our school, thank you to the leaders, thank you to the cadres, thank you to the instructors, thank you to the students… Thank you for letting us watch a romance movie.”

That night, the third and fourth-year students cheered energetically. They took their small stools and entered the outdoor venue.

There were too many students. One open-air square was not enough. Hence, they were divided into two groups. The first and second-year students were in one group and watched from another training ground.

The third and fourth-year students were in the same group.

”Prepare to place the stools… Put them down! Sit!” As the cadres gave the order, groups of students sat down with a whoosh.

The freshman sat upright with their backs straight and their hands on their knees. They were sitting like they were in a meeting, waiting for the movie to start.

The second-year students seemed to be slightly better. They could do what they liked until the movie ended.

The third-year students were better than the second-year students. As soon as they sat down, they sat in the standard posture of the first-year students. When the movie started, they would immediately adjust to their preferred posture. They could also change their sitting posture midway. They could do whatever they wanted.

The older students like the seniors in the fourth year, especially the ’single’ seniors, were a little presumptuous. They entered the venue in advance and sat down. They looked at the other students’ standard sitting posture, but in fact, they would glance over from time to time…

What were they looking at?

Of course, they were looking at the female students.

As for the seniors who had a partner, they could often secretly swap positions at this time. The couples would end up sitting side by side. When the lights dimmed, the couples could pull some tricks.

It wasn’t easy to have a secret relationship, especially in the military school. It wasn’t easy to have a secret relationship. They couldn’t even think of holding hands on campus!

Holding hands outside the school had been their dream from the start of their relationship until the graduation season.

It was always that one party wouldn’t have the time. It wasn’t easy for them to go out for half a day on Saturday and Sunday. Either one of them would need to train. Thus, they kept on missing out on each other. The number of times they could hold hands could be counted on one hand. They could only look at each other across the class and the crowd.

They couldn’t look for too long. The inspectors and the instructors would keep an eye on them. If they weren’t careful, the couples would get into trouble together.

Hence, they had to pretend that they were not familiar with each other. They were only classmates and comrades. There was really no love between them!

Ye Jian found three pairs of lovers secretly holding hands. She thought of her boyfriend, whom she had never heard from for a long time. Was he in the country? Abroad? Training? She didn’t know anything.

There was no news, no letters, no electricity… She didn’t know if she could continue training at the Xueyu unit base during the summer vacation.
