Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Yes, yes!

He remembered. He finally remembered.

That was right. They had seen her at the International Military School Competition!

Brieth’s gaze turned even darker. He pursed his thick lips, and his voice became gloomy. ”The Chinese student beat us in that competition. Now, we’re competing with a student who beat us in the past. Will we win?”

”Wait, wait, Brieth, why are you so sure that it’s her? I’m sorry, I’m not suspecting you. It’s just that I don’t have any impression of her. During the martial arts competition, was she in the Chinese team?”

Cartright realized that he had no impression of Ye Jian at all. When he thought about it again, he still had no impression of it. The facial features of Asians seemed to be the same. His memory was vague.

”It’s her. I’m sure it’s her. There’s no mistake. Next, we need to think about how to defeat her. We need to think about it carefully.”

Brieth was certain because he had heard every student from Japan talking about a Chinese female student.

Later, when Manchester lost to the Chinese students, he specially asked the Japanese students which student was it that they kept praising. If he remembered correctly, it was her!

Brieth’s affirmation made Cartright’s mood even worse.

There was no time for them to think about how to win against the Chinese students. The second round of the 400-meter obstacle course was about to start. Whistles sounded, and the 18 people gathered.

The 400-meter obstacle course was the most challenging part of the military basic skills training. It tested the physical fitness and willpower of the soldiers. At the same time, it was the most difficult and dangerous course.

There were a total of eight sets of obstacles and 18 obstacles.

China wasn’t the only country that had this basic military course. Other countries had it too, but the content of their training was different.

Now, Brieth regretted it.

He regretted that when the Chinese officer asked him if he had any objections to the content of the competition, he had shaken his head and replied, ”No.” He said he had no objections.

Now, he had objections.

That was because there was a Chinese student from the military school who had participated in the competition and won against Manchester.

It was useless even if he regretted it. He couldn’t ask for that female Chinese student to be replaced!

”All the best, Ye Jian! Take them down. Don’t stand on ceremony!”

When Ye Jian walked past the students from her class, she heard a few voices cheering for her secretly. Friendship was the most important thing. How could they shout for her to take down the other party?

They had to be civilized and polite. They didn’t want to embarrass themselves in front of others.

Ye Jian nodded and smiled, indicating that she would do her best.

The other party had already stepped on their dignity. How could the Chinese let them do whatever they wanted?!

The 400-meter obstacle course in the National Science University wasn’t too difficult. The 400-meter obstacle course that Ye Jian had trained in was specially set up for special forces soldiers. The difficulty and danger increased exponentially.

Hence, every time there was a 400-meter obstacle course training in school, Ye Jian would always be far ahead of the students.

The 400-meter obstacle course required soldiers to be able to run, jump, climb, support their balance, and climb. Not only did they have to have explosive power, but they also had to have endurance, coordination, and agility. Now, it was a relay competition. The students in the competition had to be faster to improve the overall results of the team.

The students from Manchester and Sedoya, who had been here for almost a month, had all undergone a 400-meter obstacle course. They had similar training in their country. The three groups of participants stood in teams, and the instructor at the starting point whistled.

Ye Jian wasn’t the first runner. She was the last.
