Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

This was the home ground of the National Science University, not the home ground of the two students from Manchester. They were presumptuous, arrogant, and provocative. Fine, they could do whatever they wanted. They could enjoy the process, but they would not get the final laugh.

Seeing this, Xu Wen said to He Jing, ”I’ll go over and talk to the instructor.”

”What are you gonna say? Don’t go. Everyone is watching you closely. You’re the only one moving.” He Jing subconsciously stopped her and grabbed Xu Wen’s wrist. ”Just watch carefully. Don’t run around.”

Ye Jian started to surpass the others at lightning speed. Under her lead, the other five students started sprinting at the same time. It was time for the students of the National Science University to race.

”I just have a suggestion to make.” Xu Wen glanced at the situation and lowered her voice. ”The instructor is in front. I’ll go over and say a few words.”

He Jing looked at where the instructor was and let go of her hand. She whispered, ”Don’t make a fuss. Just clap. The officer said that friendship comes first and competition comes second.”

”Understood, understood. I’ll go over first.”

Xu Wen bent over and slowly moved to the instructor’s side. She whispered, ”Report.” She squatted down under the instructor’s gaze and said to the instructor, ”Instructor, our school is a little benevolent to them. This is a competition, but they’re still running normally. It’ll be hard to determine each party’s strength.”

This 5,000-meter run was no different from normal running. It was completely because the other party were exchange students.

If there was really a competition, they needed to add more challenges to the 5,000 meters.

A 5,000-meter run or 3,000-meter run in a competition was very different from ordinary training.

Tactictical 1: Encounter a drug-stained area during the raid. Students would be required to wear a gas mask and pass quickly.

Tactical 2: A malfunctioning ammunition truck. The students need to manually move the ammunition. During the transportation, the students could not drag or collide.

Tactical 3: If one person is seriously injured during the raid, they must be transferred immediately. The injured must be carried.

Tactical 4: If the students encounter obstacles during the raid, they have to think of a way to pass. Usually, it’s high bars and low bars. They have to use high drills and low strides to pass quickly.

Tactical 5: During the raid, they have to find enemy bunkers on both sides of the road and suppress the enemy with grenades.

This was what a 3,000-meter or 5,000-meter run during a competition in the National Science University usually entailed.

It was also the combat run that Xu Wen mentioned.

The instructor smiled and looked at the female student who usually had many ideas. He smiled and said, ”They can’t even beat us in normal running. It’s enough for them.”

They couldn’t even win such a simple competition. How could they still have the cheek to say that they were amazing? How could they still have the cheek to be arrogant?

Xu Wen immediately understood the deeper meaning behind the instructor’s words and chuckled. ”Both you and the officer are wise! Let’s teach them a lesson so that they won’t think so highly of themselves in the future.”

”Alright, alright. Stop sucking up to me. The physical fitness exam is coming at the end of the year. Hurry up and train. It’s useless to suck up to me. Do you understand? Go back to the team and don’t think too much. The officer knows what to do.”

Although her brain was quick, that was pretty much it. In view of Xu Wen’s experience in the first year, the instructor simply warned her in advance.

Xu Wen was upset. She was just giving her opinion.

He Jing was amused. ”I told you so. I told you not to run around, but you didn’t listen. Do you understand now? You have a stained record, after all. If I were an instructor, I would think the same way.”
