Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The atmosphere on the running ground became more and more tense as Ye Jian led the team to surpass the others. The six students from Sedoya were completely left behind by the students from the National Science University. After four and a half laps, three students from Manchester were surpassed by the students from the National Science University. They had already run 4,500 meters. There were only the last 500 meters left.

Brieth and Cartright turned around. The relaxed expression on their faces disappeared instantly.

What?

What was going on?

Why were the Chinese students so close behind them? They had even surpassed the three students from Manchester!

”Brieth, they’re catching up. We need to accelerate. If not, they’ll catch up. Damn it, we can’t let them catch up!”

Cartright only looked back once. He didn’t dare to look anymore. He was a little anxious.

They thought that the Chinese students would always be lagging behind. They didn’t expect them to sprint so vigorously in the last lap.

They really thought that all of them would surpass the six Chinese students. In the end, there was a huge change. They might even surpass him and Brieth. If the Chinese students won… No, no, he couldn’t think about it. It would be a competition that he never wanted to remember!

At this moment, the smile on Cartright’s face was gone. He couldn’t smile anymore.

Brieth pursed his lips in contempt. How could he be defeated by the Chinese students? There were still 500 meters left. It was his turn to sprint.

Without speaking to Cartright again, Brieth started sprinting too.

The atmosphere in the venue was tense, and it was the same among the spectators.

It was the last 500 meters.

400 meters. There were still four hundred meters left!

After Ye Jian, Song Zhiqiu, and the other two students surpassed Cartright, they targeted Brieth and chased after him.

At 300 meters away, the six top students from the National Science University surpassed Cartright. They were getting closer and closer to Brieth!

Ye Jian’s breathing was a little rapid as she stared at the figure running in front of her. She sprinted with all her might for the last 200 meters. The distance got smaller and smaller. She was about to surpass him!

During physical training, the instructor would constantly use the words ’explosive power’ to describe her. The 100-meter sprint was the best way to show explosive power. After running 4,800 meters, Ye Jian treated the last 200 meters as a 100-meter run.

A soldier professor once said, ”A soldier who isn’t good at sprinting 100 meters is an unqualified soldier. A soldier whose strength isn’t up to standard is an unqualified soldier too.” In the past, Grandpa Gen and Uncle Chen had said similar words.

Ye Jian, who was trained as a sniper, had a terrifying explosive power. The students from Sedoya had an innate advantage, but Ye Jian made up for it with her skills and defeated the innate advantage of the Sedoyans.

The wind blew past like a knife. It was sharp and powerful. It was like a wall that couldn’t be seen but could be felt. It pushed forward quickly from behind. Brieth, who was still 100 meters away, felt the power of this ’wall’. It only took a few seconds to destroy his confidence in winning.

”Oof…”

The transparent and pressurized wall got closer and closer to him. Finally, it brushed past his ear. A shadow that was much shorter than him surpassed him.

With Ye Jian as their goal, the five students behind started their final sprint.

Song Zhiqiu was the second to surpass him. His aura was like a mountain pressing down on Brieth, causing his facial expressions to stiffen.

If there was a first, there would be a second. If there was a second, there would be a third…

The five-kilometer sprint ended. Ye Jian slowed down her footsteps. In the end, she walked slowly. Song Zhiqiu and another male student followed closely and completed their sprint.
