I Just Started College, How Could I Become a Part-Time Papa?!

Chapter 102: Chapter 76: The Secretly Taken Photos

Chen Yuan guessed that Jiang Wanyi must be talking about the qipao.

”I have it all ready.”

”Give me a second.”

Back in the bedroom, Jiang Wanyi took out the qipao.

It was a white, side-slit design with embroidered patterns. Judging by the style alone, it was quite nice.

”What do you think? Give me your honest opinion,” Jiang Wanyi asked, holding it up against herself.

If they were picking out clothes at a mall and she asked that, the proper response would be to first say no, then pick out a similar style or one in a different color. That would prove you weren’t just placating her.

But now that she had already bought it, you couldn’t say that.

All you had to do was praise it.

”I think it looks great, but I’m not sure what it’ll look like on you.”

”I’ll try it on after my workout.”

”Being home with the baby all day, you probably don’t get many chances to wear an outfit like this, do you?”

Lately, Jiang Wanyi’s wardrobe had been mostly casual, prioritizing comfort above all else. Even when going to the mall, she usually wore relaxed, athletic-style clothes. Such an exquisite dress didn’t quite suit her current lifestyle.

”I’m planning to take her for a mother-daughter photoshoot, so I bought this dress. I’ve had my eye on it for a long time.”

’Opportunity knocks!’

”How much do the photo studios charge?”

”They’re all packages. I’m not planning to get anything too expensive, just the 3,999 package for now. I want to get some nice photos for her to look back on when she’s older.”

”There’s a way to do it for free. Interested?”

”For free?” Jiang Wanyi looked at Chen Yuan. ”Do you know someone who owns a photo studio?”

”Nope.”

Jiang Wanyi’s eyes widened in realization as she stared at Chen Yuan in surprise.

”Don’t tell me you know how to do this too?”

”A man of the world has to know a little bit of everything, right? Want me to take a couple of shots for you?”

”Hmm... Not right now. I’m still sweaty. I’ll take a shower after my workout and try on the dress.”

”Okay.”

Jiang Wanyi started her postpartum exercises. Chen Yuan lay on the sofa, phone in hand, planning to take a couple of test shots to get a feel for it.

He didn’t download any fancy apps, just using the phone’s native camera. Different environments, locations, and lighting required different parameter adjustments, something a non-professional would definitely struggle with.

But after gaining professional photography skills, none of this was a problem. It was like muscle memory; he adjusted the settings in no time.

At the moment, Jiang Wanyi was completely focused and didn’t notice.

He found a good angle and snapped a few pictures of her.

Those legs, that chest, that ass...

Absolutely perfect.

’It wasn’t that he was being a pervert. With photography, you have to find the focal points.’

Looking at the pictures he’d captured, Chen Yuan was quite satisfied. Her voluptuous figure was well-proportioned, firm, and powerful, like a glass of aged wine—rich, fragrant, and mellow.

In comparison, Song Jianye seemed so immature.

After admiring them for a moment, Chen Yuan deleted the photos. They all focused on her... ”highlights,” making him feel like one of those creepy old men who take pictures of women on the street.

About half an hour later, Jiang Wanyi finished her postpartum recovery workout. She took a deep breath and wiped the sweat from her forehead.

”That felt so good.”

”The endorphin high is as good as any drug.”

”It’s true. The feeling is hard to describe.”

Not rushing to shower, Jiang Wanyi sat down next to Chen Yuan.

”You were just taking pictures of me, weren’t you? Let me see how they turned out. I want to check your skills.”

Chen Yuan: ???

”When did I take pictures of you? A pretty mouth like yours shouldn’t be spouting such nonsense.”

”Why are you being shy with me? I saw you holding up your phone just now. Hurry up and let me see. It’s not a big deal, so why act all embarrassed?”

Chen Yuan calmly took out his phone and opened the photo album.

”See for yourself. If I wanted to take your picture, I would’ve told you. I wouldn’t do it sneakily.”

Jiang Wanyi frowned, thinking back to her workout.

’I was sure I saw Chen Yuan taking pictures of me with his phone. There’s no way I was mistaken.’

”Did you delete them because you thought they didn’t look good and were afraid I’d make fun of your skills?”

’Damn it!’

’This woman is way too sharp!’

”My skills are guaranteed. How could the photos possibly not look good? So what you’re suggesting is impossible. I wouldn’t have deleted them,” Chen Yuan said, placing his phone on his other side.

”Hurry up and take a shower. Let me see you in that qipao.”

Seeing Chen Yuan stammer and act evasively, Jiang Wanyi gave him a sharp look. She could tell something fishy was going on.

”I don’t believe you. Let me see.”

”Listen to me...”

A triumphant and sly glint appeared in Jiang Wanyi’s eyes.

”I’m not listening. I just want to see. Or is there some secret in there that I’m not supposed to see?”

”How could that be? Who keeps secrets in their photo album?”

”We’ll know once I take a look.”

Jiang Wanyi reached for the phone. It was locked with a passcode.

Chen Yuan breathed a sigh of relief. ’There’s always a way around a simple problem. If I don’t unlock it for you, how are you going to get in?’

”What’s the passcode?”

”I don’t know.”

”I see you have a guilty conscience.”

”Slander. You’ll be hearing from my lawyer.”

Jiang Wanyi didn’t say a word. She locked the screen, woke it up again, and pointed it at Chen Yuan’s face.

Face ID unlocked.

’Holy shit!’

’How can a person be this damn sharp!’

The phone was open. She tapped on the photo album, then opened the ”Recently Deleted” folder.

It wasn’t empty. There were six photos inside, all taken just moments ago.

Without even needing to open them, Jiang Wanyi could see they were the photos of her working out.

But when she tapped on them, she realized they were... different. There was a shot of her chest, one of her butt, and another of her legs.

How to describe the feeling? It was a little strange, but she wasn’t angry.

She was working out in front of him in yoga pants, so naturally, she wasn’t afraid of him looking.

But secretly taking pictures... that changed the nature of things a little.
