The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 797: Chapter 797: Enchantress! Too Enchanting!_1

”Sky Demon Dance!”

Marcellus Foster let out a groan from his throat, his eyes blazing with passion, as if he had just glimpsed his first love.

Carson Flores had only glanced a few times, and his expression had already become incredibly grave.

Such a bewitching Sky Demon Dance!

Every move she made was not overtly salacious, nor was her body indecently exposed, yet it stirred an indomitable desire deep within anyone who watched her.

Her eyes seemed to glow under the light. You would look at her and be involuntarily drawn to her gaze, only to find yourself helplessly lost in those endless, profound eyes.

Carson shut his eyes, only to be shocked to find that her image still dominated his mind.

Her eyes—full of seduction, irresistible; her graceful figure—drawing one to indulge, unable to extricate themselves.

His mind was gradually becoming less alert, as though enslaved by desire, willing to do anything just for her to glance his way once more.

If she commanded him to die, he’d be willing!

Carson was startled. How could such thoughts arise in his mind?

Hastily, Carson took out a Heaven-reaching Lotus Seed and placed it into his mouth. In a blink, a cool sensation pierced deep into his brain, instantly dispersing those embedded images.

Carson’s eyes regained their clarity.

He let out a long sigh of relief, and when he looked toward Marcellus across from him, he saw Marcellus staring intensely at Lainey Dragon on the stage, his gaze fixed, his eyes vacant.

Carson sighed. The kid was already lost.

If he didn’t have the lotus seed, would he be like this now?

Carson turned to look at the stage again. Lainey Dragon’s dance was still captivating, her eyes profound, but the images that entered the depths of his mind no longer held that soul-snatching magic.

Scanning the rest of the hall, Carson noticed that almost everyone was like Marcellus, eyes fervently and stupidly fixed on Lainey Dragon. A few guests had even unconsciously moved to the edge of the stage, reaching out as though trying to touch Lainey Dragon, displaying a creepy kind of infatuation.

Kash Lam sat in place, his gaze firmly on Lainey Dragon atop the stage. Invisible flames seemed to burn around him, his fists clenched as though resisting the unseen force of Lainey’s Sky Demon Dance.

He was not lost, but he appeared to be struggling.

Carson suddenly felt someone watching him. Turning his head, he was startled to find a man in green clothes not far away, gazing at him with interest, gently peeling peanut skins in his hand. Seeing Carson looking back, the man in green nodded and smiled, as a form of greeting.

Carson was shocked. Downstairs, Kash Lam, with his Fire Spirit Body, immensely powerful, could not ignore the magic of Lainey’s Sky Demon Dance, yet this man seemed completely unaffected!

Was it a unique talent, or was his strength extraordinary?

Carson gave a slight smile to the man in green in response, then quickly turned his gaze back to continue watching Lainey Dragon dance.

Right then, Lainey Dragon suddenly stopped her movements, raised her head, and her gaze fell upon Carson, her eyes revealing a hint of gravity and confusion.

How could this young man’s gaze remain clear and unaffected by her charm?

Lainey Dragon then stepped forward, gracefully emerging from the darkness into the light, tilting her face and gently lifting her veil, revealing her enchanting and devastatingly beautiful face, smiling faintly at Carson.

Carson felt as if his mind exploded at the sight of Lainey Dragon’s face, which now dominated his field of vision. He felt his consciousness wavering, about to sink into her bewitching smile, when the lotus seed timely released a wisp of coolness, dispelling the confusion in his mind.

So powerful!

Such a temptress!

What kind of attack was this?

This was surely not just a visual impact of her beauty, because no matter how beautiful a person is, it should not have such a powerful effect.

A mental attack!

That was the only answer, and the reason why even with closed eyes, his mind was still full of her image!

The Sky Demon Dance was definitely not just a name for a dance; it was an extremely terrifying form of mental attack.

Shock filled Lainey Dragon’s eyes. She had never imagined her full-on strike would fail to bring down this young man!

Who was he?

Lainey wanted to know, but now couldn’t afford to dwell on it, as she saw Kash Lam standing up, his hands alight with flames.

Lainey turned her head and gave Kash a deep look with a soft voice that seemed to come from the heavens.

”Kash Lam, would you really bring yourself to kill me?”

Kash’s movements abruptly paused, clearly hit by Lainey Dragon’s mental shock. For a moment he seemed dazed, and in that split second, Lainey’s figure flashed like lightning, appearing before Kash. With a single sweep of her arm, an Ice Blade materialized on her forearm, and she slashed directly at Kash’s throat.
