The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 779: Chapter 779: Son of Kahdas_1

Brecken James’s face was the color of iron, as if he had been viciously slapped.

Four or five Golden Core, three Nascent Soul, and yet they couldn’t stop Carson Flores, a single man with a sword? He had actually broken through everyone in the blink of an eye and snatched Marcellus Foster back from his grasp?

The other party was merely in the Golden Core Realm!

What a tremendous humiliation!

Not just Brecken James, but the faces around him were almost all the same; after all, they had just made ruthless threats, waiting to see Carson Flores’s joke, only for Carson Flores to turn the tables and breach their defenses, turning them into the biggest joke of all.

This slap was indeed resounding.

Brecken James was burning with rage, his eyes deadly fixed on Carson Flores, ”You’re just standing by his side, thinking you can save him and leave? You’re far from being able to.”

Carson Flores sighed, ”Can we not harm the harmony and just stop here?”

Brecken James said angrily, ”Since you chose to help Marcellus Foster, then you are my enemy. Just now, you caught us off-guard. A mere Golden Core Stage, I’d like to see how you can take him and leave?”

The people around Brecken James all dispersed, each wielding various Magic Artifacts, evidently preparing to besiege Carson Flores.

Carson Flores chuckled, ”The few of you might not necessarily be able to defeat me.”

As Carson Flores spoke, two Beast Taming Bags flew out from beneath his cloak, and with the bags opening, Dragon and Logan Moss leaped out.

”Snow Dragon Leopard King!”

”Logan Moss!”

”Be careful! It’s Logan Moss!”

Carson Flores pointed ahead and said with a smile, ”These people are a bit heated, Dragon, give them a breath to cool them down.”

Dragon opened its mouth, and an extremely cold Ice Storm swept out.

Without waiting for Carson Flores’s command, Logan Moss had already charged towards the other side, blasting out a vast sea of fire that enveloped a huge area with scorching heat.

The faces of Brecken James and the others turned to horror, as they each drove their Magic Artifacts to defend and briskly retreated backwards, no longer caring about attacking Carson Flores.

Marcellus Foster, standing behind Carson Flores, was shocked by the sight. Carson Flores was too powerful.

Two Nascent Soul Level beasts capable of growth and mutation as protection, it was just too cool, truly worthy of being a Direct Disciple of Master Campbell!

Awesome!

As the ice and fire assaulted, Brecken James and the others were in disarray. Two Golden Core Realm cultivators of lesser strength got swept by the Ice Storm and immediately turned into ice sculptures, tumbling directly onto the ground.

Although Brecken James and the others used their Magic Artifacts to block the Ice Storm, each of them turned deathly pale, as a chill rose throughout their bodies.

”Cease!”

Brecken James shouted in fear, ”Who exactly are you?”

Brecken James originally thought Carson Flores was a mere Nutwood Mountain disciple, but now it seemed clear that he was not.

Carson Flores waved his hand to stop Dragon and Logan Moss from continuing their attack and smiled in response, ”The fourth Direct Disciple of Nutwood Heavenly Cave Master Campbell, Carson Flores.”

A Direct Disciple of the Cave Master!

Brecken James’s already pale face lost another two shades of color; this was not someone he could afford to offend.

A Direct Disciple of the Cave Master might have the chance to inherit the position of the Cave Master. It wasn’t a comparison any Peak Master’s grandson could make.

There were countless Peak Master’s grandsons, and moreover, he was just a lateral grandson, not even a direct descendant.

Brecken James, full of anger, didn’t dare to lash out. He could only represent himself, but Carson Flores could represent Nutwood Heavenly Cave.

What would fighting amount to?

Especially when they could not even win...

Brecken James gritted his teeth and gave a cupped fist salute, ”Since you’ve intervened in this matter, I have no choice but to let you be. Thus, as said before, my grudge with Marcellus Foster is written off.”

Carson Flores smiled, ”It’s better like this. We didn’t get to enjoy the meal we had earlier. Would you like to sit down for a drink and chat?”

Brecken James responded coldly, ”There’s no need, I take my leave.”

Brecken James and the others hastily left, carrying the frozen people with them. After walking some distance, someone angrily said, ”Are we just going to let this go?”

”Even if he’s a Direct Disciple of Master Campbell, it’s too much for him to be so domineering at Mount Kahdas.”

”Exactly, if this gets out, others might think we at Kahdas are afraid of Nutwood Mountain.”

Brecken James bit his teeth, ”You go back first, tend to them. I’ll go see my cousin.”

Everyone’s eyes lit up.

”If Brother Brecken is willing to take action, he can certainly teach him a lesson.”

”Brother Brecken’s talent is extraordinary, hailed as the Son of Kahdas. One day, he will definitely take control of Kahdas. His intervening on behalf of Kahdas to discipline Carson Flores would be completely justified!”

”Carson Flores is only Golden Core Realm; Brother Brecken can easily deal with him!”

Brecken James waved his hand, urging everyone to leave, then flew straight towards Tianshu Peak and quickly arrived at his cousin Bryant James’s cave dwelling.

”Bryant, Bryant!”

The handsome Bryant James walked out of the cave dwelling, looked at Brecken James with his clothes in disarray and a somewhat embarrassed appearance, and asked with furrowed brows, ”Who have you been fighting with now?”

Brecken James put on a face of grievance, ”Remember that guy Marcellus Foster who set the Soul-Devouring Bees on me in the restroom before? Today I caught up with him, ready to deal with him, when suddenly this guy claiming to be the Direct Disciple of Nutwood Heavenly Cave Master Campbell pops up and beats us up... Bryant, you’ve got to stand up for us. If this gets out, people will say that we at Kahdas are inferior to Nutwood Mountain, that we’ve been bullied to our doorstep without a word of protest.”

A glint of cold light flickered in Bryant James’s eyes, ”Carson Flores?”
