The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 754: Chapter 754 The Naughty Child Needs to Be Disciplined_1

Logan Moss stared at Carson Flores for a long time, his cold demeanor full of vigilance gradually relaxed, and his gaze slowly became affectionate.

He walked towards Carson Flores, rubbing against him with his head like a child.

Carson Flores breathed a sigh of relief, about to speak when Logan Moss opened his mouth and spewed a streak of flames onto Carson’s trouser leg.

Carson jumped in fright and quickly backed away several steps, his spiritual energy surged, extinguishing the flames on his leg.

Good lord!

If he had been an ordinary person, he probably would have been done for.

Carson’s somewhat frantic extinguishing motion excited Logan, who brightened up with excitement in his eyes, hopping in place. As he hopped, fierce flames spewed from his mouth, splattering everywhere.

The flame’s temperature was very high, igniting everything it touched, even causing black smoke to rise from stones.

Seeing this scene, Carson finally understood how Logan got his reputation as an ”arsonist.”

You happily set fires when you’re pleased and when you’re not—who could withstand that?

”You, shut up, no more fire, or I’ll cool you down,” Carson warned.

Logan ignored Carson, continuing to spew flames everywhere, acting like a mischievous child.

Carson picked up the Water-Fire Mirror, and with a flash of the Water Mirror, a breath of cold air spewed out, instantly extinguishing all the flames, leaving only whisps of blue smoke.

Logan seemed a bit enraged, his eyes turning to Carson, his gaze carrying a hint of ferocity.

Carson waved the Water Mirror again, and with the spell cast, a chill instantly enveloped Logan.

Logan’s entire body froze instantly, shivering, fear in his eyes. When he looked at Carson again, his gaze contained respect, no longer the unruly arrogance from before.

Carson mused privately that indeed the unruly child needed to be disciplined!

After disciplining him, Carson once more directed a flame at Logan, melting the frost and replenishing his energy. Logan, previously trembling from the cold, revived in an instant—but this time, he didn’t dare to hop around in front of Carson again.

Carson took out a piece of spiritual medicine and tossed it to Logan.

Logan swallowed it and looked at Carson with increasingly docile eyes.

A hit first, then a sweet jujube—this method indeed never failed.

Seeing that Logan wasn’t causing a fuss anymore, Carson took out the Beast Taming Bag and, casting a spell, the bag expanded and descended over Logan.

”Don’t move.”

In Logan’s eyes was a fear of the unknown, but he obediently allowed the Beast Taming Bag to envelop him.

Carson sighed in relief. Logan was like a rambunctious child, but thankfully, Carson had the Water-Fire Mirror to keep him in check—otherwise, it wouldn’t have been so easy to handle him.

Carson didn’t rush to leave; he searched the forests for beasts, trying to train Logan in combat.

Perhaps because Carson had always fed Logan with blood, their blood was interlinked. In just one day, Logan was able to understand Carson’s commands and fought extremely fiercely.

Even as a young beast, Logan’s combat power still reached the level of the Nascent Soul level, because the flames he spewed were so powerful. And with violence in its bones, Logan seemed particularly excited when Carson let him fight.

After several battles, Carson was able to command Logan easily as if directing his own limb. However, the aftermath of every battle Logan fought was incredibly horrific. Within a thousand meters, everything was burnt to ashes.

Having tuned up, Carson returned to Fierce Lion City and, after resting for a night, went to the square where the Flying Boats docked and boarded one bound for Jade Peak City after some deliberation.

Jade Peak City belonged to the Mount Kahdas Cave Heaven, and upon reaching Jade Peak City, he wouldn’t be far from the Mount Kahdas Cave Heaven.

Just after Carson boarded the ship, a beautiful black-clothed woman with a towering figure and an indifferent face followed aboard, then went to the top floor and settled into the room diagonally across from Carson’s.

The Flying Boat set sail, and Carson practiced cultivation in his room.

”Boom!”

The Flying Boat shook violently, startling Carson who was in the midst of cultivating. He stepped out of his room and stood in the hallway, looking into the sky with a sudden sinking feeling in his heart.

Eight people stood in the sky, four hovering, and four riding swords—all clearly powerful at first glance.

All eight wore masks, their cold gazes fixed on the Flying Boat.

An Aura Barrier lighted up around the Flying Boat, protecting the entire vessel. The Golden Core Realm cultivators accompanying the boat turned pale as death.

”Gentlemen, this Flying Boat is just a regular passenger vessel, and all aboard are common passengers. Please show mercy...”

The lead masked man coldly stated, ”Open the shield, or bear the consequences.”

After a pause, he swept his gaze over the crowd and coldly continued, ”Joaquin Moses, you can’t escape. Wise up and come forward. Hand over the item, and you might be spared.”

Joaquin Moses?

Carson scanned the surroundings. It seemed these masked men were after someone named Joaquin Moses, who was hiding on this Flying Boat.

Fire at the city gates brings disaster to the fish in the moat?
