Return of the Antagonistic Lady Boss

Chapter 449: Chapter 423: Can’t Get Over It

From the perspective of Mr. Liu guarding what he wants to protect in his unique way, Qian gives him a high evaluation.

The Enneagram theory believes that a person’s personality type cannot change throughout their life, but the level each person is at varies. There are nine health levels, with one, two, and three being the ideal states. In other words, if a person is a type 1, they cannot become a type 2, but they can make themselves a better type 1. Qian believes that Mr. Liu has reached the pinnacle of the type 1 perfectionist personality.

”Liu Linlin sneered, ”If you were with me, I’d make you fail your class, giving him such a high evaluation.”

”No, teacher, you are a type 3 achiever personality. You like excellent people, so you like me. You won’t fail me,” Qian said confidently.

”Then what do you think, which health level does my type 3 personality fall under?”

”Are you sure you want to ask me a question that offends people?” Qian silently took a step back.

”Speak!”

”Teacher, you are at the 6th health level of the type 3 personality, which is the overcompensation level. Of course, you’re still a normal person, but if you continue to develop, you’ll reach the level 7 violation level and become pathological. By then, your defense mechanisms will be out of control, unable to function, and your thoughts will become disordered—ah! You said no hitting!”

Qian narrowly dodged the apple thrown by her teacher.

We can’t act like this, as intellectuals!

”Chen Xiaoqian! Are you my student or his? He’s at levels 1 and 2 that everyone should learn from, and I’m just an ordinary person almost pathological?” Practically driven crazy by this girl!

See, the cost of speaking the truth is so high...

Qian adjusted her glasses, looking innocent, ”But you were the one who asked me to speak the truth!”

Knew it, speaking the truth offends people!

”Are you my apprentice or that old man’s apprentice after all?!” Mr. Liu was so exasperated by Qian that he started speaking nonsense.

”Teacher... I’m not even under your name yet?” Qian reminded weakly.

Mr. Liu opened his mouth, then closed it.

Right, why did she think of this girl as her own student? It’s all because Qian keeps calling her teacher, making her assume the role!

”What’s it matter if you haven’t been accepted yet? You called me teacher; what did you call him?”

”Master’s husband... uh, Mr. Liu!”

”So, how can you say he’s better than me?”

It seems that anger really lowers IQ. It’s hard to imagine that a mentor could speak such childish nonsense, showing that the Master’s Husband indeed holds a special place in the teacher’s heart.

Only for someone you care deeply about would you say such things and do such things, even to the point of losing rational judgment. This is why it is often said that psychologists cannot treat their own families.

”Teacher, you’re so entangled you can’t see clearly but as an outsider, I can. Don’t you realize your situation? Just because of the Lone Wolf issue, you don’t want Liu Li to fulfill his wishes and are forcibly interfering with his choices. Your interpersonal relationships have reached a conflicting level, losing rational thought.”

Qian spoke earnestly and sincerely.

”So you knew who he was all along.” Mr. Liu adjusted his glasses, and Qian mimicked her movement to adjust hers too. With high-intelligence people, it’s all about mental prowess—one slip of the tongue is not allowed.

”I knew from the start. Actually, if you think about it for a moment, Yu Gangdan’s mother was your classmate, and Yu Gangdan is Mr. Liu’s junior. Usually, they call him a shareholder; privately, they call him uncle. This relationship stems from you, so how could he not tell me all this?”

”That talkative Yu Gangdan!” Mr. Liu vented his anger.

In the meantime, as Yu Gangdan classmate was drinking with Mr. Liu, he sneezed. He felt completely innocent, being blamed for something he hadn’t mentioned, but since Qian had the cheat of reincarnation, this matter couldn’t be disclosed. Yu Gangdan classmate had to take the blame.

”I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to lower my teacher’s IQ. Teacher... Haven’t you noticed, every time you mention the Master’s Husband, your IQ drops?”

”Chen Xiaoqian, leave too!” The teacher picked up an apple, and Qian quickly made a surrender gesture, ”If you throw again, that’ll be the last of them, and they’re all bought with money...”

Mr. Liu laughed out of anger, ”You’re such a cheeky one.”

Qian came over and sat next to her, ”Teacher, it’s because I understand you, your type 3 achiever personality likes people like me. No matter what I do, you like it, because you know I’m right.”

”You narcissistic little girl, you are an Enneagram type 8, the challenger type, believing that power is justice. Others might find you bossy. I really don’t know between you and the equally type 8 Yu Minglang, who’s more dominating!”

Liu Linlin sharply dissected Qian, and Qian smiled with her eyes bent. This is her teacher, a stubborn old lady.

”Teacher, don’t you think the Enneagram, as a non-scientific researcher-derived personality theory, is quite unreliable?”

Liu Linlin almost had her nose crooked with anger by Qian and tapped on Qian’s head with her finger. Qian tilted her head slightly along with her force.

”You little rascal! No matter what, it always ends up as your logic. When analyzing me, you didn’t say it’s a non-scientific study. Now, when it’s about you and Yu Gangdan, you talk glibly and twist the facts!”

”Hehe, it’s the Ah Q spirit. Teacher, don’t you think that people need some reason to comfort themselves while living? After all, we study this profession, and you’ve seen more patients than the amount of salt I’ve eaten. You understand this more than I do.”

”I’ve eaten so much salt; are you trying to kill me?”

”It’s just a metaphor. Actually, we all know—perfect people don’t exist. Life is a series of problems linked together, and living is about solving problems. Some problems are big, some are small, but if something has happened and can’t be changed, why can’t we calmly accept the imperfections of life? Living in the past, the only one who suffers is yourself.”

Qian circled around with her words and came back, striking the deepest part of Liu Linlin’s heart.

Everyone knows that the dead cannot come back to life, but knowing doesn’t stop the heart from hurting. When persuading the teacher, Qian was thinking about her own daughter, Xiaowei.

She was guilty even as she spoke, saying words of persuasion without any confidence because she couldn’t do it herself.

What good is reincarnation, what good are all the skills, what use is the theoretical knowledge she possesses?

Her compulsion to wash hands hasn’t improved to this day; whenever she sees innocent, lively children, there’s a dull pain in her heart. Similarly, the teacher’s pain in losing a child is no less than Qian’s.

There are so many hurdles in life, always some that you can’t get over.
