The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 428: Chapter 428: A Little Workaholic Chapter 428: Chapter 428: A Little Workaholic The decision was made, and the punishment had been administered; the two brothers could only face the current situation now.

Cheng Guodong sighed, “School is starting soon, and from Monday to Friday you definitely need to focus on your studies! On Saturdays, you need to attend Mysticism classes, and Sundays were meant for you to rest and possibly try out some nice jobs in the entertainment industry.”

Cheng Guodong reluctantly glanced at Little Taotie, “But now you’ve taken on another task for yourself, so cancel all the entertainment industry jobs on Sunday. You’ll go to the Special Department instead.”

“No way!” Little Taotie shook her head vigorously.

She needed a lot of people to like her, needed Faith Power!

“Then give up going to the Special Department. There are only seven days in a week; do you also want to create an eighth day?”

“No way!” Little Taotie still shook her head vigorously.

Going to the Special Department was for accumulating Merit, she couldn’t give that up either!

“I want to go to both! To the entertainment industry and to the Special Department!”

Cheng Guodong was frustrated, “Do you think you have three heads and six arms?”

A six-year-old child, actually wanting to develop in the direction of a model worker!

Other kids nag daily to go out and play, but she, on the other hand, was nagging to work!

Little Taotie wished she could prove her capability by performing a Nezha Dance right there and then.

“I will work at the Special Department on Sunday morning, and go to the entertainment industry in the afternoon!”

“I think you want to ascend to the sky and stand shoulder to shoulder with the sun!” Cheng Guodong couldn’t help but mock.

Little Taotie tilted her head, recalling a dream where Little Beast Bai Bai flew into the sky, freely soaring across the horizon, indeed standing shoulder to shoulder with the sun.

She nodded seriously, “I want to fly to the sky and stand shoulder to shoulder with the sun!”

Cheng Guodong: “…”

Qin Xin: “…”

Cheng Guodong massaged his forehead, seeking help with his eyes from Qin Xin that said: My sister is too much! I’m beaten, it’s your turn!

Qin Xin cleared his throat and asked, “Why do you insist on working in the entertainment industry? Can you give me a reason?”

With her milky voice, Little Taotie answered, “I hope a lot of people will like me!”

Meeting Little Taotie’s clear, spirited eyes, and seeing the persistent glow within them, Qin Xin nodded, “Okay.”

Qin Xin then asked, “You’re already so busy, why do you still want to work at the Special Department, aren’t you tired?”

“Helping vengeful spirits can accumulate Merit! And I can eat Resentful Spirit Candy, I really like that!”

Qin Xin paused for a moment, then nodded, “Okay.”

Cheng Guodong was exasperated, grabbing him by the arm, “Are you giving in that easily?”

Qin Xin shrugged, “Her reasons are sufficient.”

Cheng Guodong muttered, “You’re even worse than me!”

Qin Xin stepped back, candidly admitting, “You’re good, go on, you block her.”

Cheng Guodong quickly caved, “No, I can’t, I won’t, I won’t block!”

What’s the point of making a joke when it’s already a done deal? What’s the point of stopping it?

“You go on, you continue.” Cheng Guodong retreated to stand behind Qin Xin, handing over the main role to him.

Qin Xin shrugged, looking at Little Taotie, “There are only seven days in a week, and studies cannot be compromised, so the schedule from Monday to Saturday can’t be changed.”

Little Taotie nodded her head like a little adult, “I know, that’s why I said I’ll go to the Special Department Sunday morning and to the entertainment industry Sunday afternoon.”

“Combining work and leisure is the key to doubling your productivity, and I do not agree with you having no leisure time for yourself.”

“So what should I do?” Little Taotie became perplexed.

“Don’t you host a live stream for a while every day?”

Little Taotie nodded.

“Maintaining your popularity that way is sufficient. Don’t you also shoot a short video every month? Don’t take on other jobs, just shoot one short video on the first Sunday afternoon of each month.”

Little Taotie was somewhat troubled, “Would people dislike me then, forget me?”

“Not at all, when you study and write, let Gu Bei film it or host a live stream. As long as you keep appearing in front of everyone, they won’t forget you. During the summer vacation, you can take on some jobs again, such as filming TV dramas, movies, variety shows, and so on.”

Little Taotie counted on her fingers and nodded, “… Okay.”

“Every Sunday, you’ll go to the Special Department in the morning, and in the afternoon we’ll take you out to have some fun, you have to combine work with leisure.”

Little Taotie’s eyes sparkled, whispering, “Can I live stream when we go out to play?”

Qin Xin could not help but laugh and cry, gently tapping her little nose, “You, you’re just a little workaholic!”
