The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 427: Chapter 427: Little Taotie Weeping Loudly Chapter 427: Chapter 427: Little Taotie Weeping Loudly Hua Jinyan had already guessed Qin Xin’s malicious intent, fell silent for a moment, and spoke, “I will let you have a taste.”

Upon hearing this, Little Taotie puffed up in anger and glared at Qin Xin, as if she had found a backer, and heavily “hmmphed,” “Did you hear that? They will let me have a taste!”

Qin Xin shrugged, “Then I will also give you a taste.”

Little Taotie: “…”

She pursed her lips, wanting to refuse with dignity, but… she was so tempted!

She gave in without any dignity and mumbled a muffled “Hmm.”

“Really want to try?” Qin Xin confirmed once more.

Little Taotie looked up at him and without any dignity, heavily “Hmm”ed again.

“Alright, just wait.”

Qin Xin turned around to make coffee, the corners of his lips slightly curled up revealing a hint of mischief.

The aroma of the coffee went straight into Little Taotie’s nose, her big eyes filled with anticipation, shining brightly.

Hua Jinyan had a bad feeling, feeling that although Qin Xin always seemed smiley on the surface, he was actually full of schemes.

This time, Little Taotie did not discuss it with her two brothers before joining the dangerous Special Department, even Cheng Guodong was angry. This seemingly good-tempered Qin Xin was definitely not as calm as he appeared on the surface, a lot of mischief was brewing inside him!

Hua Jinyan pulled on Little Taotie’s hand, persuading, “Don’t drink it, coffee doesn’t taste good.”

Little Taotie’s mouth moved slightly, she swallowed her saliva, and whispered softly, “But I have never tasted it, I really want to try.”

Hua Jinyan: “…It’s bitter.”

Little Taotie shook her head, “I saw Second Brother add sugar, it definitely isn’t bitter!”

Hua Jinyan still wanted to persuade her, but then he saw Qin Xin coming over with the coffee, smiling broadly.

Hua Jinyan suddenly felt uneasy, this guy’s smile was definitely concealing mischief!

Qin Xin crouched down, cooled the coffee, and brought the cup to Little Taotie’s lips, his voice as gentle as a spring breeze, “Drink the coffee, little darling.”

Hua Jinyan: “…” It sounded like saying: Drink your medicine, Da Lang.

Hua Jinyan wanted to stop her, but Little Taotie had already taken a big gulp.

Fearing that her second brother would only let her have one sip, she drank forcefully, taking a big gulp.

Greedy, there was never a good outcome.

Little Taotie deeply realized this truth.

The bitterness flooded her entire mouth, because she drank too fast and too fiercely, it went straight down her throat.

“Ah!” Little Taotie opened her mouth, wanting to spit it out, but it was already swallowed.

She had never drunk something so bitter before in her life!

It was so bitter she wanted to cry!

“Wahhhhh…” Little Taotie burst into loud sobs.

Upstairs, Cheng Guodong was startled at first, thinking it was someone else’s child crying.

After all, his two children hardly ever cried.

But this voice… sounded familiar?

Cheng Guodong hurried downstairs, only to see Little Taotie crying loudly.

Hua Jinyan clumsily helped her wipe her tears with a tissue, repeating over and over, “Don’t cry, have some tea to rinse your mouth, don’t cry now…”

Little Taotie couldn’t stop, and the bitterness in her mouth grew even more intense!

“Wu wu wu…” Seeing her big brother, Little Taotie rushed over like a little cannonball, hugged his legs and cried loudly, “Big brother, it’s so bitter, wu wu wu, so bitter, so bitter…”

“What happened?” Cheng Guodong crouched down, approached Little Taotie, and smelled a strong coffee aroma. He looked incredulously at Qin Xin and angrily exclaimed, “You gave her coffee!”

Qin Xin looked left and right but avoided making eye contact with Cheng Guodong.

“Qin Xin! What exactly did you do!”

Calling him by full name showed he was truly furious.

Qin Xin shrugged, “Sorry, I forgot to add sugar.”

Cheng Guodong looked into his eyes and saw no apology there, it was clear it was intentional!

“You did it on purpose!” Cheng Guodong’s fist clenched.

Little Taotie, with tearful eyes, looked towards Qin Xin, her little heart hurt, “Second brother is bad!”

Seeing her glance at him, Qin Xin felt so distressed he couldn’t help himself and buried his head in Cheng Guodong’s arms, crying once more!

Qin Xin helplessly, “What a big fuss, I just forgot to add sugar, right?” He picked up the sugar jar, found a small piece, and stuffed it into Little Taotie’s mouth, “It’s not bitter now, right? Stop crying.”

Little Taotie smacked her lips, and her crying stopped abruptly.

Qin Xin couldn’t help but laugh.

Was his sister really this easy to console?

Cheng Guodong pushed him slightly, not amused, “Laugh it off!”

Qin Xin wasn’t offended, grinning cheekily, “A naughty child who errs must be punished! I can’t bear to hit, nor scold, but she must remember the lesson, to consult us on such important matters in the future! I just made her suffer a bit.”

Cheng Guodong: “…”

Little Taotie also heard, and with the sugar in her mouth, it wasn’t bitter anymore.

She blinked her eyes, her eyelashes still wet with tears.

“Is it a punishment?” Little Taotie looked at the remaining coffee on the table, her heart trembling slightly, her baby voice even quivering a bit.

Qin Xin dropped his smiley demeanor, put on a rare stern face, and said seriously, “When you’re eighteen, you can make any decisions on your own, and both your brother and I won’t say anything. But now, you’re only six, making such dangerous decisions, you at least need to discuss with us. Have you learned your lesson?”

Little Taotie looked at her fierce second brother, her little head nodded rapidly.

Thinking of the taste that was even more bitter than burnt pot washing water, it was as if that bitterness was spreading in her mouth again.

Little Taotie was truly terrified of that bitterness, filled with dread for coffee.

Qin Xin gave a satisfied nod and selected another piece of sugar to stuff into her mouth.

Little Taotie smiled, stretched out her little hand towards the sugar jar.

Qin Xin didn’t object, and gave her the whole jar of sugar, “I’ll make an exception today, let you eat a few more candies, but not tomorrow, they’ll spoil your teeth.”

Cheng Guodong: “…” Have they made up already? Is this the so-called, a slap followed by a candy?
