The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 400: Chapter 400 Cleaning Up Traces Chapter 400: Chapter 400 Cleaning Up Traces Teacher Beibei stopped vigilantly every now and then as he walked, looking around, and even lying down to listen with his ear pressed to the ground. Only when he heard nothing unusual would he continue forward.

At the same time, the cameraman took off the blindfolds of the twelve people, “You may now hide the kid.”

After discussing, twelve of them decided to send out two people to guard Xiao Lingzhi, while the other ten would comb the entire island to capture them.

They believed that Little Taotie’s group of five would split into teams, but they weren’t sure how they would split. In the end, they decided their strategy would be for the ten of them to form five pairs and capture them in pairs.

Half an hour passed, and the loudspeaker’s voice boomed throughout Little Island, “Begin! Hunters, start catching your prey! Prey, remember to hide well while also rescuing your companions!”

The cameraman put down the loudspeaker and ran back to his post, pushing the director aside, “Let me do the shooting!”

The director was speechless, having never seen him so passionate about his job.

Actually, the cameraman just wanted to use the camera to get a full view of Little Island.

…

Men in combat uniforms hid in the woods, crawling on the ground, moving with very little noise.

“Rustle rustle…”

But even so, they were still discovered by Teacher Beibei.

Teacher Beibei, with his ear to the ground, heard the noise and immediately picked up Little Taotie and ran like the wind.

“Have they found us?”

“Yes, they are about to find us.”

Little Taotie obediently hugged Teacher Beibei’s neck, very cooperative.

When the two men got to that spot, they could only see footprints but no people.

“It’s Little Taotie and Teacher Beibei,” one said.

“That sure?”

“Only Teacher Beibei would be so alert, and those small footprints on the ground are Little Taotie’s. Only a child would have such small feet.”

“So what do we do next? Follow in the direction they fled?”

“You’re joking? The two of us combined are no match for Teacher Beibei!”

“Let’s go get a few more people!”

One of them took out a communication device, “We’ve found Teacher Beibei and Little Taotie.”

“Location!”

A person sent the location over.

Soon, two more people came rushing over, and four gathered together.

“Can the four of us take on Teacher Beibei?”

“I doubt it.”

“Don’t be such cowards! We’re four people, what are we afraid of!”

“He’s not some lake monster!”

“He’s a man more formidable than any lake monster!”

“Yes, extremely formidable! His combat skills are incredible. I had the misfortune of sparring with him and went down in three moves!”

“Three moves? Isn’t that an exaggeration?”

“He’s a survivor of the wild, a man who can go toe to toe with a leopard!”

“If you think you can win against a leopard, by all means, try taking him on!”

“Er! Should we call some more people?”

Four were too timid, so they called for two more.

Now with six, they finally had the confidence to follow the footprints.

…

Teacher Beibei cleared the footprints, revealing a mocking smile.

He had guessed those people would split into groups, but he hadn’t expected them to be so timid.

Even if they split into groups, it would definitely be in pairs of two, but they didn’t chase immediately. Lingering in one place only meant one thing–they were waiting for backup, which gave him plenty of time to erase their traces.

…

The six men chased for a long time and finally stopped, looking at each other helplessly.

“The footprints are gone!” one said, frustrated.

“We’ve lost them!” another sighed. “I knew this would happen…”

“Chase! Let’s split up!”

“We definitely can’t catch up. Should we go after the other three instead?”
