The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 398: Chapter 398: Aerial Flying Guest Chapter 398: Chapter 398: Aerial Flying Guest Little Taotie blinked his big eyes, “Codfish Hamburger?”

“Yes!”

“Pizza?”

“Yes!”

“Egg tart?”

“Yes!”

Little Taotie listed several dishes in a row, and the director guaranteed, “We have them all!”

Gu Yixing and King of Film Xu exchanged glances, cursing in their hearts at the same time, “Old fox!”

Having captured Little Taotie’s stomach, the director had effectively gotten a hold on everyone.

Seeing that Little Taotie had been eating seafood for three days and couldn’t even get a dessert, which wasn’t good for balanced nutrition, Gu Yixing relented, “Alright, let’s continue the show.”

The director breathed a sigh of relief and looked towards King of Film Xu.

King of Film Xu suffered from anorexia; a feast as a task reward held no allure for him.

But seeing Cheng Lu, who had just swallowed, and remembering that she had only had a bit of mushroom skewers yesterday and hadn’t eaten anything today, he sighed helplessly, “Continue shooting.”

Thoroughly relieved, the director smiled, “Please welcome the guest star of the flight!”

The helicopter circled above them and, having received the command, landed on the island.

Little Taotie saw a familiar face, waved her little hands, and shouted, “Xiao Lingzhi!”

Lin Zhi replied, “Little Taotie!”

The two little girls ran towards each other, and as they got close, grabbed each other’s hands and started jumping up and down.

Excited, Little Taotie asked, “How did you get here?”

Lin Zhi giggled, “My agent said you were on this show, so I volunteered to sign up! I wasn’t successful at first, but then suddenly I got a call saying the show needed a guest star, asking if I wanted to come! Of course, I wanted to come!”

Little Taotie took her to see her little wooden hut, “At night, sitting on the roof watching the stars is so beautiful!”

Lin Zhi looked at the big tree and then at the little hut, “Isn’t there a ladder?”

Little Taotie climbed up the tree in no time, “See, it’s easy to climb up, no ladder needed.”

Lin Zhi, “…I think I need one.”

While the two kids were catching up and playing around the little wooden hut, successive people started disembarking from the helicopter.

Several of them were familiar faces, guest stars from other families when Pastoral Life first aired, as well as some wearing uniform combat apparel.

In a row, a total of twelve people stood, both men and women, all of whom looked like fitness enthusiasts.

“What exactly is the task?” King of Film Xu had a bad premonition.

The director took off, leaving the pitiful and helpless staff to face the murderous gaze of the movie star.

The staff member, trembling, said, “Lin Zhi is the kidnapped hostage; you have to rescue the hostage and escape from their pursuit.”

King of Film Xu said angrily, “Twelve people to capture the five of us? At the same time, we have to rescue the hostage? No wonder the director was so generous, letting Little Taotie have whatever she wanted, clearly convinced that we wouldn’t complete the task, and wouldn’t be able to eat at all!”

The staff member awkwardly smiled, “The task has been issued, I… I should leave now.”

“Stop right there!” Gu Yixing said coldly, “If we can’t rescue the hostage, what’s the punishment?”

The staff member made a face of distress, “Once they start the capture and all five of you are caught, the task is failed.”

“No punishment if we fail?”

“This…” the staff member said hesitantly, “There is a punishment. In the next episode of the show, one of you will be trapped.”

“Ha, impressive!” Gu Yixing clapped his hands and sneered, “It’s all a set-up, even locking in the next episode! So you’re already certain we won’t finish the task, right?”

The staff member ran off, not daring to stay another moment.

When the director saw him return, he was annoyed, “You’re the referee, what are you doing back here? We’re still waiting for you to start the game!”
