The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 353: Chapter 353: PR Number 3 Now Has a Name Chapter 353: Chapter 353: PR Number 3 Now Has a Name PR 1: “Tried to steal a chicken only to end up losing the rice, told her to snatch it, and now it’s all over, huh!”

PR 2: “Do we need to release anything?”

PR 1: “What’s it to us? Silence is the best policy, after all, losing an ad to a theft isn’t exactly something to boast about.”

Cheng Guodong pointed to the always silent PR 3: “Why aren’t you speaking?”

PR 3: “I’m reflecting.”

PR 1, puzzled: “Reflecting on what?”

PR 3: “It was our ad, Little Taotie was even at the location, yet it was stolen by someone else, which makes us look incompetent.”

As soon as these words were spoken, the office fell into a silence as deep as death.

Cheng Guodong coughed to break the silence.

“I take responsibility for this as well, as the agent, I should have been there in person without having arranged for an assistant.”

PR 1 hurriedly tried to smooth things over: “You can’t blame the boss, it’s just that the boss is too busy to be everywhere.”

PR 2: “The main issue is still the lack of a competent assistant.”

“Right, which is why I plan to select an assistant for my sister.”

PR 1: “I’ll gather everyone up!”

“No need, the right person is among you three.”

PR 1 with a troubled face: “Boss, you usually don’t care about the company, we three have already been running around nonstop!”

PR 2: “I still have so much material to read, I’m as busy as a spinning top every day.”

PR 3 thought for a moment before speaking: “I’ll do it. I’ve thought it through carefully, no one else in the company has as much experience as us three. But one of them manages company affairs, the other manages the people inside the company, only I am the most free.”

Cheng Guodong looked at him appreciatively, “Actually, I think you’re also the most suitable candidate, and you’re also the one Little Taotie has chosen.”

PR 3 immediately packed up his things: “Then what are we waiting for, I’ll go find Little Taotie now!”

PR 1: “I feel like he might be about to acquire a name.”

PR 2 with a twitch of his mouth: “You say it as if he didn’t have one before.”

PR 1: “The boss doesn’t remember our names, usually just goes by codenames, now that he’s going to Little Taotie’s side, he’ll definitely be remembered by his full name.”

PR 2: “When you put it like that, I’m kind of envious of him.”

PR 1 sighed: “I’m envious too.”

…

Little Taotie opened the door and saw a small cart, covered with fresh flowers. Sitting atop the flowers was a plush rabbit, and in the arms of the plush rabbit was a small basket filled with candy and chocolates of different colors.

Little Taotie blinked, eyes brimming with surprise.

“Cute Little Taotie, let me introduce myself. My name is Gu Bei, I am your assistant, and I hope we get along well.”

“Are you the number 3 that big brother mentioned?”

Gu Bei’s smile stiffened for a moment, then he nodded: “Yes, I am.”

“So should I call you number 3, or should I call you Gu Bei?” Little Taotie tilted her head, an innocent look on her face.

Gu Bei: “…”

Struggling to maintain his smile, Gu Bei cleared his throat: “If you can remember my name, I’d still prefer to have a name.”

“All right! Brother Gu Bei!”

Little Taotie giggled, her eyes curving up, mischievous like a Little Fox.

Only then did Gu Bei realize that Little Taotie was joking, and he laughed along, his heart buoyant: I am someone with a name now!

Gu Bei, taking his new position seriously, was incredibly proactive, managing everything for Little Taotie like the best personal butler.

The female bodyguard Sitian nudged her colleague Sheng Nan with her elbow and whispered, “This assistant is pretty savvy, somehow found out I like nuts, and gave me a box of nuts as a welcome gift. What did he give you?”
