The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 388: Chapter 388: Catching the Giant Lobster Chapter 388: Chapter 388: Catching the Giant Lobster Teacher Beibei looked deeply at Gu Yixing and then remained silent.

Little Taotie insisted on going into the sea, and Teacher Beibei chose to let the child be, allowing the youngster to make their own decisions without too much interference.

Gu Yixing wanted to keep things under control but was utterly unable to do so.

Gu Yixing could only ask Teacher Beibei to keep a close watch on Little Taotie because he couldn’t swim and was unable to protect Little Taotie in the water.

Teacher Beibei, “You can learn to swim, I can teach you.”

Gu Yixing declined politely.

Teacher Beibei did not insist further and instead dived underwater to keep an eye on Little Taotie.

In the water, Little Taotie was like a fish.

Teacher Beibei once again felt that Little Taotie was suited for the army–climbing trees, diving into water, and with great strength, they were a pillar of potential.

Little Taotie had outstanding underwater skills and could hold their breath for a long time; even Teacher Beibei felt she was about to run out of breath.

Fortunately, just before Teacher Beibei would have been embarrassed, Little Taotie surfaced for air first.

Teacher Beibei also surfaced to breathe.

She let out a sigh of relief, At least I haven’t lost to a child!

Little Taotie saw many fish in the water, but not knowing if they were poisonous, they didn’t dare to touch them, and just followed Teacher Beibei to pick up shellfish from the seabed.

They lit a fire and grilled the seafood over it.

The delicious scent wafted through the air.

They were not far from where King of Film Xu and Cheng Lu were. Cheng Lu’s stomach growled when she smelled the aroma.

King of Film Xu didn’t actually feel hungry. For him, who suffered from severe anorexia, not eating was the most comfortable state to be in.

Seeing Cheng Lu’s pained expression, he understood that she was starving.

“Why don’t you go and join them?” he said.

Cheng Lu shook her head, “I don’t want to see Teacher Beibei.”

The image of Teacher Beibei pinching worms and inviting her to eat seemed to linger before her eyes.

“Can you hold on a little longer?” King of Film Xu asked.

Cheng Lu bit her lip, “Yeah, I’ll hold on a bit longer!”

Fearing she couldn’t resist, Cheng Lu pinched her nose to block the tempting smells.

Cheng Lu’s struggle with hunger was all captured on camera.

The director smirked, “This shot is great, a splendid moment!”

The cameraman, “The fact that King of Film Xu has anorexia, it’s probably impossible to conceal.”

The director’s smile stiffened, “I didn’t expect it to come to this.”

The cameraman, “When the show airs, it’s sure to cause quite a stir.”

The director, “Controversy isn’t necessarily bad, is it? Let’s see how things go. If it comes down to it, we’ll just cut out what we need to! Luckily it’s not live, if it were, there’d be no taking it back, and it’d all be over!”

The cameraman nodded, “You should avoid taking risks with live broadcasts in the future.”

Little Taotie went back into the sea, this time purely to play.

Teacher Beibei followed behind, silently protecting her.

Little Taotie seemed to remember something, suddenly turned around, and then surfaced.

Teacher Beibei came up to the surface as well.

“Are there big lobsters in the sea?”

“Big lobsters?”

“Big brother likes eating them, I want to catch one for big brother myself!”

Teacher Beibei, “It’s a bit difficult, but it’s not unachievable!”

Little Taotie was extremely excited, “I want to catch a big lobster!”

Gu Yixing, “Can you both try to be a bit more restrained?”

But the two of them didn’t listen to him at all and had already plunged into the sea.

There was nothing Gu Yixing could do about it, so he approached the production team.

The director spread his hands, “I have no control over what Teacher Beibei does.”

Gu Yixing frowned, “You hired him, how can you not have any control?”

The director handed over a contract, “The contract is signed, but I can’t really manage it, don’t believe me? Take a look for yourself!”
