The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 356: Chapter 356 Gu Bei Throws a Fastball Chapter 356: Chapter 356 Gu Bei Throws a Fastball “I-I-I’m not hungry,” Sheng Nan stammered nervously.

Actually, her usual cold expression and reticence were also because of this reason.

Hearing her stuttering voice and seeing her blushing little face, Gu Bei chuckled lightly, “You are really cute.”

Sheng Nan’s face grew even hotter as she looked at him in surprise.

“Has no one ever told you that you’re cute, that you’re looking at me with such surprise?”

“No… No one has,” she replied.

“Then should I compliment you more?”

“Don’t…”

Gu Bei laughed softly, “You’re so cute, your boyfriend must love teasing you.”

“I… I don’t have a boyfriend,” Sheng Nan said, her head lowered.

Although she wasn’t unattractive, her constant stern face meant that men rarely showed any interest in her, and her high combat power and job as a bodyguard made people steer clear of her.

“How is that possible?” This time, it was Gu Bei’s turn to be surprised, “You’re so cute and you don’t have a boyfriend?”

Sheng Nan pursed her lips, her gaze growing dimmer.

Gu Bei leaned closer to her, lowering his voice, “Then what do you say, do I have the honor?”

Sheng Nan froze, staring at him blankly.

“What? Didn’t understand?” Gu Bei leaned in even closer, nearly whispering in her ear, “I’m asking, do I have the honor of being your boyfriend?”

“I…” Sheng Nan stammered again, extremely embarrassed. She struggled to say anything, her face as red as blood, biting her lower lip, silent.

Seeing her like this, Gu Bei felt a twinge of distress, gently took her hand in his, and said, “If you nod, that means you agree to be my girlfriend; if you shake your head, I won’t pressure you.”

Her face turned even redder when he held her hand.

She looked up into Gu Bei’s eyes, which were filled with tenderness and a touch of pity.

It was an expression she had never seen in other men’s eyes.

She had always been strong since she was young, later becoming a Sanda champion and then a bodyguard; everyone thought she was formidable, never looking at her with eyes of pity.

It was just a man she had recently met.

It was only the first day they had met.

Yet, for some reason, she inexplicably nodded.

Gu Bei’s mouth curved up, his grip on her hand tightening, “Please take good care of me from now on, girlfriend.”

“Mhm,” Sheng Nan responded softly.

…

By the time Sitian returned to her seat on the sofa after giving Chen Han a thorough beating, she was completely shocked.

She saw Gu Bei holding Sheng Nan’s hand, the two of them gazing into each other’s eyes with affection.

Sitian: “What did I miss?”

Chen Han, rubbing his stomach, came back and stood behind Sitian, confused, “Why not sit down, you’re blocking the way!”

Sitian turned around, “Chen Han, slap me.”

Chen Han: “…”

“Hurry up, slap me!”

Chen Han thought his chance for revenge had come and slapped her without holding back.

Sitian covered her face, “It’s actually real! Not a dream!”

“What are you muttering about? What dream and what’s not a dream?” Chen Han wondered.

Sitian stepped aside, letting him see for himself.

Following Sitian’s direction, Chen Han looked over to see Gu Bei holding Sheng Nan’s hand, smiling and talking to her while she did not pull her hand away. Instead, she allowed him to hold it, her face flushed with shyness.

“What’s the situation? They… are together now?”

Sitian: “Isn’t it obvious?”

Chen Han exclaimed, “They’ve only just met today!”

Sitian: “Gu Bei gave her a bouquet of red roses as a meeting gift.”

Chen Han raised his thumb, “He had ulterior motives from the start! And he succeeded! Impressive!”

Sitian sighed, “Even Sheng Nan has gotten herself a partner, when will I ever find someone?”
