Chapter 250: Chapter 250: Expert Tree Climber Giant Panda Chapter 250: Chapter 250: Expert Tree Climber Giant Panda They arrived at the Hippopotamus Pavilion just in time for feeding, and saw a hippopotamus open its huge mouth and swallow a big watermelon whole.

Little Taotie’s round eyes couldn’t tear away as she clapped her little hands in approval.

As if she had found a little friend who could eat as much as she did, she adored the adorably ugly hippopotamus.

Cheng Guodong finally managed to lead the little girl away, otherwise she seemed to want to watch the hippopotamus eat watermelons forever.

“Let’s go, we’re going to see the giant pandas! Look how soft and cute they are, they’re a national treasure!”

Little Taotie looked back reluctantly at the hippopotamus and waved her small hand, “Goodbye, hippo baby, I’ll come back to see you eat big watermelons!”

At the Panda Pavilion, the giant panda was eating bamboo, with a pile of green bamboo next to it. It peeled off the outer layer as simply as a banana and started munching on the bamboo inside with relish.

Little Taotie had already forgotten about the hippopotamus, her eyes glittering as if they were about to stick to the glass, “Wow! It has such good teeth! Is all that bamboo for it to eat alone? It’s really impressive!”

The giant panda, after eating its fill, lazed about for a while, rolled over, ran to play with water, and then, apparently finding that boring as well, started to wander aimlessly. Finally, it came close to the glass and locked eyes with Little Taotie.

Little Taotie was extremely excited, shouting loudly, “Look at me, it’s looking at me!”

Qin Xin ruffled his tiger hat and laughed, “It’s not looking at you anymore.”

The giant panda turned and ran toward a large tree, then started to climb!

“It’s going up? It’s so round and looks so chubby, won’t it crush the tree?”

Little Taotie watched with wide eyes, but didn’t see the giant panda crush the tree. Instead, it moved nimbly and quickly climbed to the highest point.

Little Taotie clapped her hands in amazement, “It’s so impressive! No wonder it’s called a ‘panda,’ it can climb trees just like a cat!”

Once the giant panda got on the tree, it started to doze off, motionless.

“It’s asleep!” Little Taotie pointed to the giant panda, her eyes sparkling, “Will it fall down if it sleeps?”

“Snap!”

As if Little Taotie’s mouth was blessed with foresight, she had barely finished speaking when the round and plump giant panda fell down.

Little Taotie: “…”

She looked up and met Qin Xin’s eyes, bewildered and innocent, as if to say: It wasn’t me who pushed it down the tree, it fell on its own!

Qin Xin couldn’t help but laugh out loud, “It has nine lives like a cat, and is good at taking a tumble!”

Little Taotie pressed her face to the glass to look, somewhat nervous and concerned.

Then she saw the panda that fell on the ground lying there for a bit before getting up as if nothing had happened, continued to climb the tree, and once again reached the highest spot, closed its eyes, and fell into a deep sleep!

“Let’s go, let’s go look at the other little animals, let’s not disturb the giant panda’s sleep,” Qin Xin took Little Taotie by the hand and walked toward the Lemur Garden, where there were lots of free-ranging small animals and where visitors could interact closely with the animals.

Hua Jinyan was very quiet along the way, having visited this place many times already. It seems like his father really enjoys animals, and right after the film crew wraps up, he wants to have some parent-child interaction, with the zoo always being the chosen place for such an interaction.

Cheng Guodong held Hua Jinyan’s hand, feeling a little envious of his younger brother, but the two had previously agreed to switch children to look after from time to time.

Qin Xin paid for the Feeding Ticket, 20 yuan each time.

Little Taotie came to the giraffe area, listened to the narrator’s explanation, and from time to time, she stole glances at the people feeding the giraffes and whispered in a quiet, childish voice, “If so many people feed it, and it just keeps eating, won’t it burst like a goldfish?”

“That won’t happen, there is someone watching, and it will stop eating when it’s full. Do you want to try feeding it?” Qin Xin asked with a smile.

Little Taotie rubbed her hands together, her eyes flickering slightly, “Its neck is so long, eating must be tiring, I don’t want it to get tired.”
