The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 217: Chapter 217: Aiyo Aiyo Yo Chapter 217: Chapter 217: Aiyo Aiyo Yo Hua Jinyan, who had been tricked into going abroad, remained silent, his lips tightly pursed, his eyes cast down, refusing to look at the spirited little old man.

Grandpa Hua opened his mouth in a wide grin, rubbing his waist as he feigned illness, “I’m getting old, with an aching back and sore waist!”

Grandma Hua played along with a nod, reaching up to rub her temples, “Getting old, with headaches and blurry vision!”

Hua Jinyan pursed his lips, turned his eyes away, and looked out the window, ignoring them.

“Oh dear, Grandma’s sweet grandchild, hurry and massage Grandma’s head, I have a headache!”

“Oh dear, Grandpa’s sweet grandchild, hurry and rub Grandpa’s waist, my waist hurts!”

Hua Jinyan: “…”

Gu Lanxin, barely holding back her laughter, had an almost twisted expression on her face.

Director Hua held his forehead, complaining, “Mom and Dad, how could you do this? I thought something really happened to you, so I rushed over to pick up my son and left a whole group of people at the production in a hurry. And now I see you both hopping around–faking illness!”

“Hopping around?” Grandpa Hua rubbed his waist, a pained expression on his face, “How could I possibly be jumping around?”

“Who’s faking illness!” Grandma Hua snapped angrily, her face red as she pointed at Director Hua and scolded, “You ungrateful son!”

Gu Lanxin couldn’t hold back her laughter anymore and burst out with a snort.

Director Hua cast a resentful glance at his wife and said gloomily, “There are hundreds of people waiting for me back at the production, I need to go back!”

Grandma Hua waved her hand impatiently, “Who wants to see your ugly face, just go, go, go! Leave once you drop off our sweet grandson!”

Grandpa Hua nodded in agreement, fully supporting his spouse’s words.

Hua Jinyan walked over to Director Hua and tugged at the hem of his clothing.

Director Hua looked down, meeting his son’s clear-cut eyes, and the guilt started to creep into his heart, initially wanting to leave his son behind and make his escape.

Director Hua cleared his throat, “Jinyan is already a year behind the other children. He can’t miss registering for elementary school again this year, I need to take him back to the country.”

Grandpa Hua immediately rubbed his waist, “Ouch, ouch, ouch—-”

Grandma Hua was a step behind but quickly caught up with the rhythm, rubbing her temples, “Ouch, ouch, ouch—-”

Director Hua looked helplessly at his son and coughed, “Jinyan, stay with Grandpa and Grandma for a while, Daddy will come to pick you up in a few days!”

Hua Jinyan: “…”

Grandpa Hua and Grandma Hua immediately stopped their moaning; both old folks started smiling brightly. Grandpa Hua took out an auction catalog, grinning and said, “My dear grandson, there’s an auction tomorrow. Look here, this is the introduction, see if there’s anything you like, Grandpa will take you to bid!”

Grandma Hua took out a “Food Travelogue” magazine, “Take a look, see if there’s something you’d like to eat, Grandma will take you there!”

Hua Jinyan, who had been determined to leave quickly, fell silent for a moment, then accepted the auction brochure and the food travelogue.

Little Taotie liked flowers and wondered if there would be any pretty decorative items with floral designs at the auction.

Little Taotie liked food and wondered if there would be any foods that could be taken away, with a longer shelf life.

Grandpa Hua and Grandma Hua initially thought their sweet grandchild would behave as usual, turning his face away in displeasure, refusing to accept anything.

To their surprise, this time their grandchild accepted readily!

Grandpa Hua rubbed his hands together, beaming, “Will you go to the auction with Grandpa tomorrow?”

Hua Jinyan’s hand flipping through the auction catalog paused, his gaze landing on a page with a string of bracelets, a combination of red roses and silver platinum. The roses were crafted from red gemstones, and the photograph of the bracelet was taken flawlessly. It hung on a branch full of green leaves, reflecting a warm glow in the sunshine.

Hua Jinyan’s eyes lingered on the red Rose Bracelet, and he nodded slightly, “Let’s go.”

“Ding!” The doorbell rang, and a childish voice came from outside: “Grandpa Hua, Grandma Hua, I’ve come to see you!”
