The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 220: Chapter 220 No Chocolate, Heavier Portion Chapter 220: Chapter 220 No Chocolate, Heavier Portion Wukong’s mother was a very sturdy foreign woman, who came storming over to demand why someone had bullied her son and made him cry.

Gu Lanxin smiled gently and explained in fluent local language that it was just a small conflict among children, mentioning that the little girl in the video was her son’s girlfriend.

The foreign woman stared in disbelief, repeatedly asking if the Little Mermaid, Tao Tao, in the video truly was Hua Jinyan’s little girlfriend?

Gu Lanxin nodded very firmly and confidently, without blushing or losing her breath.

The foreign woman immediately understood, recognizing the intense jealousy that rivals in love feel; she had seen her own son’s infatuation with the Little Mermaid, watching the “No. 3” video on his phone over a hundred times a day. It seemed like her son had no chance of becoming friends with the neighbor’s child.

The foreign woman didn’t blame Hua Jinyan for bullying her son anymore since the smartphone video could still be retrieved from the deletion history; she had just come to clear up the situation.

Gu Lanxin sent them off with a smile and blessed Wukong, hoping he would find a girlfriend who was an even better Little Angel than the Little Mermaid, Tao Tao.

Reflecting on their conversation, Wukong couldn’t help himself and burst into tears again. He wasn’t yet old enough to grow up, to go to the East to find his Angel, and now the Angel already belonged to someone else!

When they got home, seeing her son crying non-stop, the foreign woman massaged her temples and comforted him, “It’s okay, they aren’t married yet, you still have a chance, no need to be sad!”

Wukong’s crying stopped abruptly, and he looked up at his mother with a pair of damp blue-green eyes.

The foreign woman didn’t think there was anything wrong with her approach to education; she believed one should strive for what they desire, and as long as there’s no marriage, there’s a chance!

She began to teach her son how to “steal a girl”!

Wukong listened, puzzled by the idea, but also feeling it made a lot of sense.

…

Little Taotie tapped his smartphone watch, and the call went through.

Hua Jinyan’s smartwatch rang, and under the watchful gaze of four adults, he answered the call, intending to slip away but was blocked by Grandma Hua and Grandpa Hua, forcing him to take the call in front of them.

On the other end of the line, Little Taotie’s voice was full of innocence as she asked, “Are you abroad?”

In a soft voice, Hua Jinyan replied, “My grandpa was sick, so we went to see him.”

“Sick? Is it a serious illness?” Little Taotie, recalling her recently deceased grandfather, grew worried, fearing that Hua Jinyan’s grandpa might also have an issue.

Hua Jinyan glanced at his grandpa, who was full of vigor, and murmured, “He’s fine now.”

“That’s good!” Little Taotie whispered, “When are you coming back?”

Hua Jinyan’s lips curled up, thinking she missed him and couldn’t bear to be apart, only to hear the little girl’s tender voice say, “I’ve run out of chocolate, when are we going to get some more chocolate back?”

Hua Jinyan’s mouth drooped, mumbling, “I’ll be back in a couple of days.”

“Then you better come back quickly!”

“Okay.”

Hua Jinyan wanted to say more, but then heard the call being mercilessly ended by the little girl.

Hua Jinyan: “…”

Because Hua Jinyan’s smartwatch had an external speaker, all four adults present heard the entire conversation between the two kids. Gu Lanxin struggled to hold back her laughter, not wanting to embarrass her son.

Director Hua, however, couldn’t help himself and chuckled, patting his son on the shoulder, “Well, aren’t you worth more than a piece of chocolate?”

Hua Jinyan brushed off Director Hua’s hand, muttering sullenly, “She called me on her own initiative, which means she missed me!”
