Chapter 273: Chapter 273 He Came, He Came, He Came Driving a Tanker Truck

”Oh, right, Big Teapot. Do we have enough people ready over there? Don’t let that kid escape,” Shen Sijun asked with an air of importance. He would never have dared to speak to Big Teapot with such an attitude before. But now, he was about to become part of the Main Lineage. With a little more effort, he could even become the crown prince of the Shen Family. Then, Big Teapot would be nothing more than a servant under his boot.

”Don’t worry. We’ve laid out the Heaven Net there. Once he arrives, he won’t be able to escape even if he grows wings,” Big Teapot replied, a cold glint in his eyes. He was clearly displeased with Shen Sijun’s attitude.

”Remember, don’t kill him directly,” Shen Sijun said, his expression twisting into a snarl as he gritted his teeth. ”That bastard made me strip naked and sing on a lamppost, utterly humiliating me. I’m going to humiliate him just as badly.”

That happened? Big Teapot and the bodyguards were stunned. They had no idea that Ye Xiu had humiliated Shen Sijun in such a way.

Just then, Xiao Bao woke from his unconscious state. ”My head hurts... WAHHH!”

His cries were so loud they seemed to shake the very ground beneath them. The noise made Shen Sijun and the others feel like their heads would explode.

”Shut up, or I’ll strangle you,” Shen Sijun threatened fiercely.

Xiao Bao fell silent.

Less than half an hour later, Shen Sijun’s takeout arrived: a dish of stir-fried tomatoes and eggs with a side of rice. He didn’t seem to mind the accommodations, sitting on the ground and preparing to eat.

Xiao Bao scurried over. ”Uncle, I’m hungry.”

”Go eat shit,” Shen Sijun said with disgust.

Xiao Bao got angry at this. ”PTUI! PTUI!” He spat twice, right into the stir-fried tomatoes and eggs and the rice.

Shen Sijun, Big Teapot, and the others were all speechless.

HISS!

This little brat already understands the ’if I can’t have it, no one can’ principle?

”You little brat! I’ll kill you!” Shen Sijun exploded with rage, kicking out toward Xiao Bao’s face.

If that furious kick had landed, the child’s life would have been in grave danger.

At that critical moment, Bao Niannian, who had been awake all along but was only pretending to be unconscious, suddenly lunged forward and knocked Shen Sijun over, saving her son.

”Young Master Shen, I’m so sorry! Xiao Bao is just a child; he doesn’t know any better! Please be the bigger person and don’t lower yourself to his level...” Bao Niannian scooped up Xiao Bao, apologizing to Shen Sijun in terror as her lovely face turned pale with fear.

”You bitch! You dared to run into me!” Shen Sijun scrambled to his feet, rushed over in a humiliated rage, and viciously slapped Bao Niannian, who was still holding her son. The force of the blow sent them both tumbling to the ground. A bright red handprint instantly appeared on her delicate face, and the pain brought tears to her eyes.

”I’ll fucking kick you to death!” Still not satisfied, Shen Sijun began to furiously kick and stomp on Bao Niannian.

Bao Niannian curled her body tightly around Xiao Bao, shielding him from the blows. She let Shen Sijun’s kicks land on her, her body trembling from the pain as tears streamed down her face. Her delicate frame had never endured such brutal torment. A woman may be weak, but a mother is strong. In that moment, Bao Niannian cared nothing for her own safety, focused only on protecting her son from Shen Sijun’s assault.

Underneath her, Xiao Bao wailed in terror, ”Don’t hit my mommy! Don’t hit my mommy! Don’t hit my mommy...”

”So what if I hit your mom?” Shen Sijun snarled, forcibly flipping the prone Bao Niannian onto her back and trying to rip Xiao Bao from her grasp.

”No! Please, Young Master Shen, don’t! I’m begging you, please don’t hurt Xiao Bao! Please!” Bao Niannian pleaded, clinging desperately to her son. Her small frame suddenly erupted with astonishing strength. Shen Sijun grabbed and twisted her arms and wrists until they were bruised purple, but he still couldn’t pry Xiao Bao from her embrace.

”Let go, or I’ll stab him to death,” Shen Sijun threatened, snatching a long knife from a bodyguard and panting from exertion.

Seeing the knife, Bao Niannian almost fainted from fright. She fell to her knees, begging for mercy. ”Young Master Shen, please, spare Xiao Bao! If you’re angry, take it out on me! Just please don’t hurt my son! I’m begging you...”

Looking at Bao Niannian’s exquisite face, now fraught with panic and looking so pitifully beautiful, a twisted idea entered Shen Sijun’s mind. He said, ”Alright. If you satisfy me, I can spare Xiao Bao.”

”This...” Bao Niannian hesitated, completely flustered.

”What? You’re not willing?” Shen Sijun asked coldly.

”I’m willing! I am! As long as you don’t harm Xiao Bao, I’ll do anything you ask.” For the sake of her son, Bao Niannian was ready to sacrifice everything.

Shen Sijun let out a perverted laugh and said to Big Teapot, ”Record this. Hmph. I want that bastard to see it with his own eyes.”

”Understood,” Big Teapot agreed readily.

Just as Big Teapot took out his phone, he received a text message. He let out a cold laugh. ”That bastard is here.”

”So soon?” Shen Sijun was taken aback. ”Quick, get everyone to the underground laboratory! And have someone bring him down.”

”Yes, sir!” Big Teapot quickly sent a text.

A moment later, Big Teapot received another text. He read it, and his face drained of color. ”Young Master, this is bad! The bastard came in an oil tanker!”

Shen Sijun was stunned. ”So what?”

”H-he’s using a hose to pump the gasoline from the tanker down the stairwell into the laboratory!”

”What?!” Shen Sijun and the bodyguards felt their scalps tingle. An entire tanker’s worth of gasoline pouring into the underground lab... if it ignited, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Panicking, Shen Sijun shouted frantically, ”Quick, tell everyone to get out of the lab! Get to ground level! Now!”

”Bring Bao Niannian and the boy!” Big Teapot commanded.

”Yes, sir!” One of the bodyguards hoisted Bao Niannian over his shoulder, picked up Xiao Bao, and sprinted out.

”He’s insane! He’s lost his mind!” Big Teapot roared as they ran. ”He’s trying to burn us all alive, along with the mother and child! He’s a complete madman!”

The group ran to the elevator, only to find the power was out. They had no choice but to take the stairs.
