In Dark Moon Forest Pass, Lin Yue was only the Deputy Pass Leader while Zhang Kun was the Pass Leader. It would be unreasonable for Zhang Kun to pin the blame on Lu Ye. The war between the two sides had been ongoing for years. Both parties had suffered a lot of casualties. However, at the end of the day, Lu Ye was indeed the root of the problem.

As a thought turned over in Lin Yue’s mind, she made a decision. Since it wasn’t the right time yet, she put the matter aside for the time being.

Two days later, Elder You examined Lu Ye and said, “Little friend, since you have a robust body, you’re generally fine. However, I’m powerless to heal the damage in your Divine Soul. Just focus on your recuperation now. Perhaps you’ll recover one day.”

Naturally, it was meant to console him. Elder You didn’t believe the damage in Li Taibai’s Divine Soul would recover.

“Thanks, Elder You,” Lu Ye said and watched him leave. He only pocketed his gaze a long time later. It was time to execute the next step of his plan.

After all, he was Lu Yi Ye of the Grand Sky Coalition, not Li Taibai of Thousand Demon Ridge. He arrived at Dark Moon Forest Pass by chance, but he couldn’t stay here forever.

He had planned on looking for a chance to leave, but he never managed to do so. Fortunately, the chance was presented to him after those from Surging Waves Lake Pass came to attack and Liu Yuemei launched a Soul Attack against him.

Now, he was only a Third-Order Real Lake Realm Master whose Divine Soul was badly damaged, so he had no future to speak of. There was no way Lin Yue would make him stay.

After making up his mind, Lu Ye stepped out of his room and arrived at Lin Yue’s place. He was soon allowed to see her.

During the conversation, Lin Yue asked him about his injury, and Lu Ye answered her question honestly. What made him feel strange was that there was something off about Lin Yue’s attitude, but he couldn’t put his finger on it.

“Madam, I’ve come here to inform you that I’m leaving,” Lu Ye told her about his intention.

“You’re leaving?” Lin Yue was surprised.

Lu Ye nodded. “Elder You said it’s almost impossible for my Divine Soul to recover unless I come across a great opportunity. I’d like to leave this place and travel around the world. Perhaps I’ll chance upon an opportunity.”

Lin Yue dipped her head, finally knowing Lu Ye’s intention. She didn’t have a reason to stop him. After all, she had already planned on transferring Lu Ye to somewhere else to prevent Tong Shuyao from becoming too sorrowful when she found out about Lu Ye’s condition.

Lin Yue wouldn’t let Li Taibai, who had no more future, get together with Tong Shuyao. Before she even brought it up, Lu Ye had come to tell her that he was leaving. That was the outcome she wanted.

“Have you made up your mind?” she asked.

Instead of responding to her, Lu Ye fell into a dazed state while looking in a particular direction.

Lin Yue followed his gaze but didn’t see anything special. She gently let out a sigh, knowing that just like what Elder You had said, Lu Ye would become muddle-headed even if he regained consciousness due to the damage in his Divine Soul.

Given his current state, he couldn’t even stay focused for a long time, let alone cultivate his power.

A moment later, Lu Ye came to his senses and rubbed his forehead. “Please forgive me, Madam. I was in a trance. What was your question?”

A helpless Lin Yue asked, “Have you decided to leave?”

“Yes. Please agree to my request, Madam.”

“Since you’ve made up your mind, I won’t stop you. But I need you to help me with something.”

“What is it?”

“I’m sure you understand that Yao’er has fallen in love with you, and I can tell that you don’t love her. After you’re gone, I’ll tell her that you’re dead. You’d better not contact her again… Have you two exchanged the Brands of your Battlefield Imprints?”

“Never.” Lu Ye shook his head. Naturally, he wouldn’t take the initiative to exchange Brands with Tong Shuyao, and the woman was probably too shy to bring it up previously. Therefore, they didn’t have a way to contact each other, and she wouldn’t know if he was dead or alive through his Brand.

“That’s great. I hope you’ll agree to it.”

“Naturally, I won’t hold up Senior Sister Tong. Don’t worry about it, Madam.”

“You’re smart.” Lin Yue looked at Lu Ye with gratification. “When are you going to leave?”

“Madam, if you’re fine with it, I’d like to leave right away.”

“Sure.” Lin Yue nodded and fished out a Storage Bag. “Take it. You’ll need the items inside. When you recover one day, you can come to look for me.”

“Thanks, Madam.” Lu Ye took the Storage Bag. “Farewell, then.”

After stepping out of Lin Yue’s place, Lu Ye immediately activated his Spiritual Power and shot into the sky to leave Dark Moon Forest Pass.

Standing beside the window, Lin Yue watched him leave with a conflicted expression. In the end, she only let out a sigh.

After leaving Dark Moon Forest Pass, Lu Ye continued to charge forward. He didn’t expect that his request would be permitted so easily. As he recalled the Storage Bag given to him by Lin Yue, he realised something.

Lin Yue had probably intended to make him leave Dark Moon Forest Pass, but she hadn’t managed to bring it up to him. That was why she had prepared a Storage Bag in advance.

Lu Ye took a look inside the Storage Bag and saw some cultivation resources. It wasn’t worth a lot, but it was better than nothing.

It seemed that Lin Yue had indeed planned on making him leave Dark Moon Forest Pass. From her perspective, she naturally wouldn’t pay much attention to a Third-Order Real Lake Realm Master who no longer had a future. It also didn’t help that Tong Shuyao was in love with him. That was why Lin Yue wouldn’t allow Lu Ye to stay. Anyway, that was the outcome he wanted to see.

As he flew forward, he would appear to be in a dazed state sometimes, and there were times when he would pretend to endure some excruciating pain in his head. Those were the symptoms that his Divine Soul was badly injured.

It wasn’t until he left the Desolate Plain that he landed somewhere secretive. Then, he had to think about how to go back to Blue Flame Mountain Pass.

He should’ve done so after leaving the Sword and Tool Sect, but he was held up for several days due to various reasons.

During this period, Nian Yuexian had contacted him several times to ask about his situation, but Lu Ye lied to her that he was fine.

If he wasn’t returning to Blue Flame Mountain Pass sooner, Nian Yuexian would probably come looking for him.

He could come to this place in a short time with Ying Wuji as the tour guide, but it wasn’t so smooth sailing when he returned.

After giving it some thought, Lu Ye tapped on his Battlefield Imprint and sent someone a message. ‘Are you still alive, Little Ying?’

Previously, after Nian Yuexian took Ying Wuji away, Lu Ye didn’t know what happened next. However, since Ying Wuji’s Brand was still around, it showed that he was alive.

While recuperating in his place in Lone Cloud City Pass, Ying Wuji took a look at the message and felt his eyelids twitching. He couldn’t believe that Lu Ye started calling him ‘Little Ying’.

If those who didn’t know what was going on found out about it, they might think that the two of them were close friends.

He immediately replied, ‘I’m badly injured. Stop bothering me!’

Certainly, he couldn’t come into contact with Lu Ye again. Otherwise, it would be impossible for him to get rid of Lu Ye. Also, he couldn’t stay in Lone Cloud City Pass any longer. He had to come up with a way to get transferred to another place.

‘Why are you injured?’ Lu Ye was surprised.

‘Stop asking the obvious! If you don’t know what happened, ask your Junior Sister Shui Xian about it!’ As Ying Wuji recalled what had happened to him that day, he was furious.

After they left the Sword and Tool Sect, Nian Yuexian directly took him away. Naturally, they were besieged by the Divine Ocean Realm Masters of Thousand Demon Ridge. There was no way Ying Wuji could have a hand in this kind of battle. As he endured rounds of repercussions, he was lucky enough to have survived.

It could be said that he was just as badly injured as Lu Ye. Fortunately, Nian Yuexian never intended to get him killed. Upon realising he was terribly injured, she tossed him away. That was how he survived.

‘Alright. Focus on your recuperation, then. I’ll see you next time.’

‘Get lost!’

After ending the conversation with Ying Wuji, Lu Ye fell into his thoughts. Initially, he wanted to make Ying Wuji help him get out of this place, but he couldn’t do so as Ying Wuji was badly wounded.

Naturally, he couldn’t head to Blue Flame Mountain Pass in broad daylight while retaining the identity of Li Taibai. In that case, he could only sneak back to Blue Flame Mountain Pass on his own. It wasn’t a difficult task anyway. It would only take him a longer time.

While still keeping his appearance as Li Taibai, he activated a Glyph to conceal his presence and headed to Blue Flame Mountain Pass. That way, even if he was accidentally exposed, he could still be safe using the identity of Li Taibai.

He would hide in the morning and resume his journey at night. There wasn’t any danger so far.

After all, not every place was full of people like the Desolate Plain previously. The front line between the two sides was long. Even though every Pass would send some cultivators to patrol their territory, they couldn’t possibly examine every place.

It took Lu Ye two days to finally arrive at Blue Flame Mountain Pass. Only then he did reveal himself and keep the Sword Gourd and the sword at his waist. He also turned his Red Dragon Warsuit into a black colour and dispelled Thousand Faces, which he had retained for days.

Lu Yi Ye of the Grand Sky Coalition had returned!

After he released Amber from the Spirit Beast Bag, Yi Yi immediately emerged to breathe in some fresh air. She pouted and said, “What were you doing, Lu Ye? We were confined inside the bag for a long time!”

Lu Ye then told them what he had gone through during this period. Amber’s eyes widened in disbelief while Yi Yi’s jaw almost dropped.

While they were worried about Lu Ye, they also regretted not being able to fight alongside him.

However, many people were aware that Amber was Lu Yi Ye’s Tamed Beast. It was also a conspicuous symbol of his. Therefore, Amber must never show up when he was Li Taibai in Thousand Demon Ridge.

“That woman named Liu Yuemei is terrible. If there’s a chance in the future, we have to get our revenge.” Yi Yi was incensed.

On the other hand, Lu Ye remained impassive. “From her perspective, it’s only natural that she wants to kill me. However, as someone in power, she shouldn’t have waged a war just because her family member was killed. I wonder if those in Grand Sky City are aware of it.”

“Is Third Senior Brother in a difficult situation over there?”

“I’m sure it’s been tough for him. If there’s a chance in the future, we’ll go and visit him.”

“Sure, sure.” Yi Yi nodded repeatedly. She was fond of Xiao Xinghe even though she had never met him before. After all, she was aware that Xiao Xinghe compiled his insights on the Way of Blades and stored all the information inside a jade slip before asking someone to send it to Lu Ye.

During the conversation, Lu Ye suddenly detected something and turned to look in a particular direction.

He saw a ray of light coming over in a hurry. Several figures were running after the person.

Lu Ye looked intently at the ray of light and was surprised. That was because he discovered that he was familiar with that person. Moreover, he just met her not long ago.

The woman registered his presence as well, so she was elated. Just as she was ready to call for help, her expression changed drastically. That was because Lu Ye suddenly unsheathed his saber and charged towards her before seemingly going to attack her.
