When the storm of attacks subsided, Ning Hu’s hair was dishevelled, and blood was streaming from the wounds all over his body.

He suffered miserably as he didn’t expect to be attacked by a treasure. However, he wasn’t killed, and because of the sharp pain in his Divine Soul, his attacks became even more violent.

Although he had been acting crazily, he could still think straight. But now, he seemed to be out of his mind.

Fortunately, his moves were a mess due to the damage to his Divine Soul. Even though his attacks were ferocious, he wasn’t targeting anyone.

Geng Wuwang was in close-quarters combat with him, so he was horrified. Kang Yuanqiao assisted him with flying swords, but there was nothing much he could do to defeat the enemy.

Although Ning Hu had lost his biggest advantage as a Divine Ocean Realm Master after his Divine Ego was damaged, he still had his Spiritual Power. It wasn’t easy to defeat someone like him.

“Move away, Senior Brother Geng!” Lu Ye growled and fished out something before casting it at Ning Hu.

Geng Wuwang reacted swiftly. Although it was his first time collaborating with Lu Ye, he trusted him. He leapt away as soon as Lu Ye told him to move.

Something exploded with a boom. The impact of the explosion and scorching air blast engulfed Ning Hu’s figure.

When Geng Wuwang saw that, he felt his eyelids twitching. Fortunately, he had leapt away quickly. If he had been slow, he would’ve been swept into it.

Such an explosion wouldn’t kill him, but it would make him suffer horribly. [What is that?]

When he turned his head to look, he saw Lu Ye holding two items with both hands. He had used the same thing to cause an explosion earlier. Upon closer look, Geng Wuwang was puzzled. That was because he realised Lu Ye was holding Fire Spirit Stones, one of the Five Elemental Spirit Stones.

He was aware that the Fire-Attribute Spiritual Power of Fire Spirit Stones was violent and unstable. One had to be careful when keeping these Spirit Stones because a bit of impact could make the Fire Spiritual Power within the stones dissipate.

However, he had never heard that these things would explode. The stones were fairly powerful as they were equivalent to an all-out attack of a Real Lake Realm Master.

*Boom! Boom! Boom!* Lu Ye kept casting the Fire Spirit Stones which had been blessed with Explosion Glyphs. The stones turned into firelights and engulfed Ning Hu.

Under normal circumstances, his attacks wouldn’t be useful because a Divine Ocean Realm Master wouldn’t stay there and endure his attacks.

Nevertheless, Ning Hu’s Divine Ego had been damaged, which caused him to have a terrible headache, and his mind was a mess. His movements were driven by instinct now, so he couldn’t dodge such attacks.

Lu Ye was inspired by Fire Spirit Race members, who used Fire Spirit Stones blessed with Explosion Glyphs to deal with their enemies. He had found some weapons in the underground cave which were supposedly crafted by the Fire Spirit Race members. Although the pattern wasn’t the same as the Explosion Glyph, the inspiration was good enough for a Glyphweaver.

It was Lu Ye’s first time using this move to deal with an enemy. What was more, the enemy was a Divine Ocean Realm Master. The outcome turned out to be amazing, though.

The sounds of explosions were continuously heard. Geng Wuwang thought the items were specially made, but the truth was that Lu Ye only blessed the Fire Spirit Stones with Explosion Glyphs the moment he fished them out before casting them.

While throwing the Fire Spirit Stones, Lu Ye secretly activated his Divine Ego to find out about Ning Hu’s condition. Soon enough, he was flabbergasted.

Engulfed in the firelights, Ning Hu still wasn’t dead yet. Lu Ye couldn’t help but think that a Divine Ocean Realm Master indeed had immense vitality.

Just as he was ready to keep on doing this to wear out the enemy, Ning Hu suddenly emerged from the firelights and pounced on him.

His actions were driven by his instinct, and killing Lu Ye was his instinct trying to himself. His last bit of sanity told him that he would be dead if he couldn’t destroy Lu Ye.

“Damn it!” Geng Wuwang initially thought their enemy was doomed, so he was shocked when Ning Hu suddenly made a move. He immediately tried to stop their enemy.

“Six Elemental Spirit Locks!” Lu Ye growled.

Ning Hu’s Divine Ego was damaged, so he couldn’t launch any Soul Attack for the time being. Therefore, they could subdue him by activating Six Elemental Spirit Locks.

But before that, Lu Ye had to try to survive Ning Hu’s wrath. He kept casting the Fire Spirit Stones. The explosions and the impact couldn’t slow down a Divine Ocean Realm Master one bit.

Geng Wuwang contended with the enemy to stall for time.

Lu Ye hurriedly summoned some Ward Flags and cast them in different directions. Then, he activated his Spiritual Power and connected the Ward Flags with it. As a thought flashed across his mind, a core Glyph appeared.

Geng Wuwang was sent flying away. Like a cheetah, Ning Hu pounced on Lu Ye. Before he even arrived, he brought down his claw.

Lu Ye slashed his weapon at his enemy and made use of the impact to move backwards.

Ning Hu landed on the ground, but before he could launch another attack, Lu Ye had activated the Ward’s power.

The next second, a light screen rose from the ground and covered Ning Hu in a translucent dome.

He charged forward but was stopped by the light screen. Like an injured best, he howled and crazily launched his attacks, which caused the light screen to turn dim rapidly. A Trap Ward like this could only hold him up for one breath of time.

Several figures landed in different directions. They were the members of Team A3. It was just like how they had surrounded Ning Hu for the first time upon their arrival.

All of them were injured, and several of them had lost the power to fight. That said, they could still activate their Six Elemental Spirit Locks.

As soon as the Trap Ward that Lu Ye had built in a hurry lost effect, the Six Elemental Spirit Locks started running.

Instantly, the flow of Spiritual Power was prohibited. When Ning Hu finally arrived, Lu Ye kicked him away.

His Divine Ego was damaged, and he no longer had access to his Spiritual Power. Presently, Ning Hu only had a robust physique, so what he could do was limited. Naturally, he couldn’t fend off Lu Ye’s attack.

While he was in mid-air, two Dragon Binding Ropes reached for him. By the time he landed on the ground, he had been tied up.

“Saber!” Geng Wuwang extended his hand towards Lu Ye.

Knowing what the man wanted, Lu Ye threw his weapon at him.

Following that, Geng Wuwang strode towards Ning Hu and jabbed the saber right into his heart.

Their mission was to bring Ning Hu back to Grand Sky City. However, a series of events took place, and their target turned out to be a Second-Order Divine Ocean Realm Master, not a Ninth-Order Real Lake Realm Master. Naturally, they had to end his life right there and then.

No one knew what might happen if they didn’t do that. If Ning Hu managed to break free from the ropes, all their effort would go down the drain. In such a situation, they could only end his life to prevent future trouble.

As soon as the weapon penetrated his body, Ning Hu felt as if he had been struck by lightning. He instinctively leaned forward and headbutted Geng Wuwang, who staggered backwards and pulled out the weapon upon impact. Blood spurted out of Ning Hu’s chest like a fountain.

In the last moments of his life, he regained temporary mental clarity. Perhaps it had something to do with the headbutt as well. He turned to look at An Mofeng, who had been rooted to the spot since the battle started as though the latter had lost his mind. A hint of disappointment flashed across his turbid eyes.

Then, he slowly turned his head to look at the place he had lived in for the past decades. He sighed and said, “This Sect has been around for hundreds of years, but unfortunately, it’s going to end with us.”

Following that, he glanced at Lu Ye and nodded. “You’re not bad.”

As soon as he finished speaking, he collapsed to the ground and passed away. The entire place was silent as only the sounds of panting were heard.

“Dead, Team Leader?” Xiao Ruyun finally asked with a pale face moments later. His Spiritual Power was a mess, so he almost couldn’t sustain the Six Elemental Spirit Lock any longer.

Geng Wuwang spat out a mouthful of blood and replied, “I’m not dead.”

Xiao Yurun donned a helpless expression. “I’m asking if he’s dead, not you.”

Geng Wuwang shot him a glare. “I penetrated his heart with the saber. Do you think he’s dead or alive?” Then, he tossed the blood-covered saber at Lu Ye.

Upon hearing that, they were relieved. Exhausted, they sat down on the ground to get some rest.

Geng Wuwang glanced at Lu Ye. “Are you alright?”

Lu Ye got rid of the blood from the blade and put the weapon back into the sheath before shaking his head. “I’ll stand guard. Please heal your wounds.”

Among these people, his injury was the least serious. Naturally, he had a duty to stand guard.

“Thanks.”

The degrees of their injuries varied. Fortunately, none of them were killed, but those from Red Cloud Mountain had suffered immense losses.

Other than the fact that the Great Elder, Ning Hu, was a mole from Thousand Demon Ridge, several of their Elders in the Real Lake Realm were killed.

Ning Hu had also killed dozens of their disciples. As a Tier-Four Sect, they were not fundamentally damaged, but they had suffered tremendous losses.

The Elders who had survived appeased the other disciples and made some arrangements to heal the wounded and clean up the mess. They were busy dealing with the aftermath.

It wasn’t until this moment that An Mofeng staggered. As his Spiritual Power was a mess, he sprayed out a mouthful of blood and collapsed to the ground.

“Sect Master!” an Elder exclaimed and went over to examine him. All of them were flustered again.

Suddenly, a Sword Cry was heard. The next second, a Sword Light arrived and dissipated, revealing a short old man. The powerful aura exuding from him suggested that he was a Divine Ocean Realm Master.

He had received an order from the Ministry of Laws and come over from a nearby place to help, but it seemed that he had come too late.

“What’s going on?” The short old man looked around, feeling perplexed.

He set off in a hurry upon receiving the message. Initially, he thought he would see carnage or that the mole from Thousand Demon Ridge had run away upon his arrival. But now, the situation seemed different from what he thought.

An epic battle had broken out in this place. Traces of Spiritual Powers clashing with each other could be seen everywhere, and many people had lost their lives.

The shrivelled corpse with a wound in his chest was especially conspicuous. The short old man stepped forward and became shocked. “Ning Hu!?”

According to the information he had received, the person before his eyes was the mole from Thousand Demon Ridge who had ascended to the Divine Ocean Realm. However, he was dead.
