Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Hm?”

”Who is that…?”

At the same time Xuan Hao spotted the two Celestial Immortal level combatants fighting with each other, they also spotted him, as he hadn’t bothered to hide himself and allowed their divine sense to approach and examine him without bothering to hide his cultivation like he had done so often in the past while outside the sect.

”Huh? This is…!”

”Ah!? Profound Immortal!”

And sure enough, as the two Celestial Immortal Realm combatants sensed his cultivation realm, they instantly began panicking before scrambling to escape as far away as possible, both of them understood very well that neither of them was a match for someone in the Profound Immortal Realm. Even if they worked together, their strength was only around the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm and even two against one, it would be difficult dealing with even the weakest Profound Immortal Realm cultivator.

And considering that Xuan Hao hadn’t bothered to hide his cultivation base when showing up, these two had clearly sensed that he wasn’t just someone at the Breaking Dawn Realm, but someone far stronger than that. Resulting in the current panic-stricken escape. Especially so for the demonic cultivator, who clearly understood that he would be the first target as a demonic cultivator if the other party decided to attack them.

”This… I never imagined I would be that scary…” Muttering this to himself as he watched the two Celestial Immortal Relam Combatants running away like a few startled rabbits meeting a fox in the wild, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit surprised.

Although he had expected some kind of reaction from them given his cultivation base had reached the Sea Formation Realm, he had never expected this kind of reaction, as two fearsome Celestial Immortal Realm combatants had been sent running with their tails stuck between their legs.

To be honest, it was a rather enlightening experience and made him start to understand just how fearsome someone in the Profound Immortal Realm was to someone in the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm or the Early Stage of the Demon King Realm.

Of course, part of the reason wasn’t just because he had reached the Profound Immortal Realm, but also because he had reached the Middle Stage of the Profound Immortal Realm, the Sea Formation Realm. Making him far more powerful than a normal Profound Immortal Realm cultivator.

In a sense, when he thought about it, his current strength would put him at the same level as the leader of a major power- and not a weaker major power at that.

Hm… Maybe it is a bit of an overkill for me to go and scout out the situation now that I have broken through to the Sea Formation Realm…?

As these thoughts emerged as the two Celestial Immortal Realm combatants disappeared far into the distance, Xuan Hao quickly shook his head and threw these thoughts to the back of his mind.

No, this was exactly the kind of effect he had wanted when showing up, establishing the might of the Star Shattering Sect! It was just that he had not expected the reaction of the lower-level Celestial Immortal and Demon King Realm cultivators at the scene. Making him sincerely hope that not everyone would just run away in fear upon seeing him.

After all, if everyone ended up escaping out of fear the moment, they sensed him, how would he have the chance to inform them that he was someone from the Star Shattering Sect!?

If things continued like this, they might even start to believe that he was just some wandering cultivator who had been attracted to the commotion that had been caused at the Frozen Wastelands… And although such powerful wandering cultivators were unlikely, there was a high chance someone would delude themselves into thinking that he was not from any of the nearby Central Regions and had instead come from the Southern Central Region!

No, I don’t believe that there won’t be anyone curious about my identity. Especially when it comes to those major powers like the Blue Sea Empire!

Frowning to himself as he thought about this, Xuan Hao decided to not think about how he might be mistaken for a wandering cultivator any longer as he continued moving closer to the edge of the Frozen Wastelands core where he had left the wiggling tree root not too long ago…

Who am I? Where am I? Why is everyone ignoring me?

However, as he continued moving deeper into the Frozen Wastelands and found himself encountering close to a dozen Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators and a little over that in Demon King Realm demonic cultivators, he found out that every single one of them decided to escape the moment they sensed him. Not even daring to stay behind and ask him who he was and where he might be from.

For the first time, Xuan Hao truly felt that Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators and Demon King Realm cultivators were cowardly individuals who ran at the first sign of danger.

Even when he had thought he was lucky upon spotting someone in the Middle Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm and thought he would finally have an opportunity to disclose his identity-

”Ah!? P-Profound Immortal Realm!? And… S-Someone in the Sea Formation Realm! Spare meeee!”

However, in the end, the other party ended up becoming far more scared than the rest of the cultivators and demonic cultivators he had encountered so far, being the fastest to escape upon seeing him approach.

Thinking about it, he was also the first one who had realized that he wasn’t just someone in the Breaking Dawn Realm of the Profound Immortal Realm but had reached the Sea Formation Realm.

Of course, with how everything was playing out, he also realized that he must be doing something wrong to scare off all those Celestial Immortal Realm and Demon King Realm cultivators. The only problem was that he had no idea what he was doing wrong to scare off all of them, even when he tried to think about something he might have done wrong, he couldn’t think of anything.

…

A short time earlier, just before Xuan Hao appeared in the Frozen Wastelands, two Celestial Immortal Realm combatants, one normal cultivator and one demonic cultivator were locked in a deadly fight with each other. Shaking the very space around them as they clashed with each other above the barren landscape of the Frozen Wastelands. Displaying their might as the earth below split apart and snow-covered mountains crumbled from a slight leak of their might.

”Haha, old man Ling, today is finally the day you die!”

”Hmph! You old demon, don’t think I will let you escape this time around! You won’t be able to escape into the Frozen Wastelands any longer!”

The two combatants were eagerly tearing each other apart, as they had taken the opportunity during the recent upheaval to end their old rivalry.

Whoosh~

”Hm? Someone is approaching? Tch, don’t tell me you called for reinforcements old man!”

”Sure they aren’t your friends?”

”No, they-”

As both came to a momentary stop upon feeling someone unknown approaching, the demonic cultivator was about to answer froze as he suddenly felt a terrifying presence, like a heavenly river descending from above had suddenly washed over him, preventing him speaking.

Not just that, but he could clearly feel that this heavenly river was pressing down on him, seemingly about to drown him and end his life.

”Huh? This is…!”

Remembering the only time he had felt something like this in the past, the demonic cultivator felt a shiver run down his spine as he turned towards his opponent-

”Ah!? Profound Immortal!”

Who finished his train of thought, while also confirming the strength of the approaching person. Not just that, but from the intensity of the presence, it was clear that this person wasn’t one to mess around with.

”Old Ling, I’m out of here, good luck!”

Swish-!

And so, with that in mind, he decided to send a quick message to his old enemy through divine sense before turning around and escaping as fast as possible. Knowing that it wouldn’t be any good to stay behinds getting tangled up with such a powerful Profound Immortal Realm cultivator who had clearly come ready for combat.

”This… Don’t you dare run away!”

Seeing how his old enemy had just left him behinds to face this terrifying Profound Immortal Realm cultivator on his own, Old Ling froze for a brief moment before he screamed loudly at the other party through his divine sense before chasing after him.

Although… It wasn’t much chasing after him and was more so him escaping from the place as fast as possible before he ended up face to face with that terrifying Profound Immortal Realm cultivator.

After all, like his old enemy, he also understood that it would be nothing short of a death sentence to face a Profound Immortal Realm cultivator who was so aggressively releasing their presence. After all, past experience told him that it was a clear sign that the other party to shoo them away.
