Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

[Dao of Space, Enlightenment Space: 4 hours, 23 minutes]

”Still over four hours left! Great, I might actually be able to reach the Peak of the Perfection Realm before I get thrown out of this place!”

Having spent a little under twenty hours inside the Dao of Space enlightenment space and having successfully managed to comprehend a technique that allowed him to return back to his original size again, Xuan Hao had long since thrown the fear he had felt upon first arriving to the back of his mind as he was now fully dedicated to comprehending the Dao of Space. Already feeling like he was getting close to reaching the peak of the Perfection Realm, a terrifying progress that showed just how terrifying the enlightenment space he found himself in was.

If he could spend a few months- no, just a few weeks, he was certain that he would be able to directly break through to the Origin Realm that stood above the Perfection Realm, a terrifying realm that he had never even dared imagined himself breaking through in such a short period of time.

Of course, with his limited time, he didn’t dare think about reaching the Origin Realm in the Dao of Space and felt more than satisfied aiming for the Peak of the Perfection Realm. Understanding that there should be few present on the Ewaria Continent who would be capable of matching him with that deep a comprehension of the Dao of Space.

After all, the Dao of Space was one of the most difficult Daos to comprehend, only being surpassed by something like the Dao of Time.

As he thought about this before focusing fully on comprehending the Dao of Space, the final four hours quickly flew by, as the time limit soon ran out and he felt himself being slowly ejected from the enlightenment space.

In the final few minutes, he had managed to just barely elevate his Dao of Space to the Peak of the Perfection Realm in the Dao of Space. Allowing him to feel the barrier that separated him from reaching the Origin Realm. Leaving him more than satisfied with the reward he had obtained from completing the main quest of the system.

At the end of the day, it had not only helped elevate his cultivation to the Middle Stage of the Sea Formation Realm but had also saved him potentially hundreds of years reaching the Peak of the Perfection Realm in the Dao of Space.

Most importantly of all, his time in the enlightenment space had given him a clear direction to follow for breaking through to the Origin Realm in the future, saving an uncalculated amount of time searching for a path after reaching the Peak of the Perfection Realm, something that could have easily taken tens of thousands of years if not longer.

Feeling a clear sense of joy over his current situation, he decided to use the last few seconds before being booted out of the enlightenment space for the Dao of Space to open his eyes and take a proper look around the place.

Whoosh~

And the moment he opened his eyes, the joy from his recent improvements in the Dao of Space vanished into thin air as the sense of dread he had felt when first arriving in the enlightenment space resurfaced. Only this time around, it was far more prominent than before. Almost like the origin of that feeling of dread had moved closer during the past few hours.

However, from this alone, it was clear that the feeling of dread he was feeling didn’t come from the space around him, but instead something different.

But… What could cause me to feel this kind of way? Something in the Venerable Realm? Or perhaps something beyond that?

Even as he began unconsciously shaking in fear, his mind was working overtime trying to guess what it was that had caused him to enter this kind of fearful state against his own will-

Swish~!

And against his own better judgement, he decided to extend his divine sense into the void around himself to search for the origin of the primordial fear that was engulfing him. Knowing that there was only a short time left before he was thrown out of the strange space by the system.

Of course, even though his comprehension of the Dao of Space had increased, most of his divine sense ended up being crushed or ripped apart by the turbulent spatial waves outside the protection of his small island, but given that he spread out millions of small threads of divine sense in all directions around himself, some of them managed to avoid being immediately ripped apart by the terrifying spatial waves out of sheer luck.

Allowing him to not just deepen his understanding of the space he found himself in but also find the origin of the dreadful feeling.

Rumble~!

However, as he found the origin of the dreadful feeling, the origin of that dreadful feeling also noticed him, as an eye of unimaginable size opened in front of him, causing the spatial waves around him to churn violently in response before they crashed into the thin barrier protecting the small island with far more strength than before.

In turn, he soon found himself being thrown around by the spatial waves alongside the small island.

If not for the thin protective barrier, he was certain that he would have been dead by now, but he had no time to focus on any of this, as his gaze remained locked on the terrifying eye that had opened in the dark void.

From the second it had appeared; he had been unable to move even a single muscle. Having completely lost control of his own body.

Even worse, while he was unable to do anything, he felt his soul at the core of his dantian inside his dao lotus starting to collapse as he stared into the unimaginably large eye. Almost like his soul was far too weak to look at the being in front of him and had begun to collapse on its own as a result…
