Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Taking a deep breath, Xuan Gui quickly used her divine sense to sense her current location inside the Blue Sea Empire. Soon enough, finding out that although Xuan Hao had taken her to a deserted location in the Inner Region of the Blue Sea Empire with little presence of the Blue Sea Empire itself nearby, she still managed to find a small city a short distance away. The strongest cultivator around only being someone sent out by the Blue Sea Empire in the Soul Ascension Realm to manage the city, offering little opposition to her, as she wasted no time in extracting information from this person before killing him off with no hint of hesitation.

The interrogation proved far more useful than she had expected, as she learnt about a nearby resource depot that was gathering cultivation resources and other resources from the surroundings before sending them off to the border, a critical hub for the Blue Sea Empire’s logistics in their ongoing battle with the demonic cultivators

And so, understanding the opportunity that had presented itself to her, Xuan Gui wasted no time. Moving with haste, as she approached the resource depot with the intention of destroying it before the Blue Sea Empire had the time to realize that one of their Soul Ascension Realm cultivators had suddenly died.

Of course, she didn’t need to be that worried about them noticing, as the city she had targeted was in a deserted part of the Inner Region and she hadn’t left any traces when she took care of the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator in charge.

Even then, to ensure that she wouldn’t end up losing this golden opportunity, she rushed over without stopping along the way. Soon enough, finding herself at the edge of the massive city that the resource depot in question was located inside of… And different from the small, deserted city that only had a single person in the Soul Ascension Realm watching over it, this city was far more heavily fortified.

Not only did it have a protective formation, but it also had an Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm) cultivator watching over it, along with over a dozen Soul Ascension Realm cultivators. More than enough to deal with most cultivators or demonic cultivators below the Celestial Immortal Relam or Demon King Realm. Making it clear just how important the city was to the Blue Sea Empire.

Unfortunately for them, the one they were dealing with was not someone ordinary, but someone who had already reached the Peak of the Demon Lord Realm. Only a single step away from reaching the Demon King Realm…

”Attack… WE ARE UNDER ATTACK! Activate the formation!”

”Impossible! The formation won’t hold up! That person is at the Peak of the Demon Lord Realm!”

Crack~! BANG!

”This… How did such a powerful demonic cultivator manage to break through the border!”

”The lord! The lord has fallen!”

”Even an Earth Immortal died… And so fast…!”

And because of that, the defenders of the city were no match for her prowess, as Xuan Gui took them by surprise. Dismantling the defensive formation before taking care of the Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Real) and Soul Ascension Realm cultivator. Wasting no time as she proceeded to destroy the resource depot. Burning and destroying all the cultivation resources without a hint of hesitation. Understanding that she had no time to take away any of the cultivation resources, as that would take far too long and the stronger cultivators from the Blue Sea Empire would show up and catch her.

However, when she finished dismantling the resources depot, she suddenly sensed a terrifying divine sense locking on to her from a distance and she understood that this meant it was time for her to take her leave… And so, without any hesitation, she gathered her demonic energy before launching one last attack towards the massive city filled with more than enough power to fully destroy the city and kill everyone inside. Making sure that the attack descended slowly so it wouldn’t hit the city immediately…

”YOU DARE!”

And from the loud scream she soon enough heard echoing out in the distance, she was sure that the attack accomplished the intended goal, as the powerful cultivator from the Blue Sea Empire who had shown up in response to the destruction she had caused would now have to choose between chasing after her or saving the city from destruction.

Although this might have been a simple decision under normal circumstances considering that a demonic cultivator with her strength running rampant was far more dangerous and damaging to the Blue Sea Empire than the loss of a single city, she also understood that there were several important nobles of the Blue Sea Empire younger generation present in the city. About to head out to the border for real life experience fighting demonic cultivators, people she had deliberately not killed in her attack now. All to ensure that the person who shows up to chase after her wouldn’t have an opportunity to do so.

Even if he wanted to give up on the city, there was no way he could give up on so many members of the Blue Sea Empire’s younger generation. Especially considering they were all noble blood, and their families would undoubtedly tear him apart if they learnt about what had happened.

Whoosh~!

And, as she had predicted, the cultivator from the Blue Sea Empire who had been about to chase after her quickly turned his attention towards protecting the city from her attack. Allowing her to slip away without any problems.

”Hehe, indeed, predictable…” Smiling to herself as she left the area completely and hid herself in a deserted mountain range, Xuan Gui could not help feeling a sense of joy coursing through her body at the success of her first attack on the Blue Sea Empire.

Even if it was going to be more difficult to do the same level of damage in the future, as the Blue Sea Empire would be prepared, the sheer amount of resources she had destroyed would be painful even to the Blue Sea Empire.
