Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Hm? That is…”

Just as he was thinking about possibly searching for more enemies of the Blue Sea Empire and recruiting them to join the sect, he suddenly sensed a terrifying presence rapidly approaching his current location at a speed far above that of someone in the Dao Seed Realm.

Celestial Immortal Realm… And familiar it feels familiar- The Celestial Immortal Realm Ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire that I ran into earlier!

Realizing who it was that was approaching his current location almost immediately, he couldn’t react in time to turn around and escape together with his disciples and newest member of his sect before the divine sense of the other party washed over him. Making it meaningless for him to run away, as the other party clearly recognized his disciple and Zhao Ling.

Not only would it be meaningless for him to run away at this point in time, but it would also make the Star Shattering Sect seem weak and potentially bring far more trouble to the Star Shattering Sect than if he decided to face the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator from the Blue Sea Empire.

Not to mention, that guy is still in the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm, and I have been looking for an opportunity to test out my strength against someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm since breaking through to the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm and comprehending the Dao of Space to the Perfection Realm.

Thinking this to himself as he calmed himself down, Xuan Hao rapidly began calculating what to do to avoid a potential larger conflict with the Blue Sea Empire.

Unfortunately, it seemed rather difficult to accomplish considering his disciple had killed the family member of one of their Celestial Immortal Realm Ancestors, while the woman he had just recruited to join the sect happened to have cut of a rather important limb of the crown prince.

”Haaa… You four, get ready to leave. Zhao Ling, I will hand the safety of my three disciples over to you, I hope you will help them get back to the sect safely.”

”Huh? Master?”

”Master? What do you mean? Are you not going back to the sect with us?”

”Yeah, master, I’m sure the others miss you, not to mention, Elder Song has been asking when you would be getting back to the sect for some time now…”

”Senior did something happen?”

Different from his three disciples who were all rather confused at this sudden turn of events, Zhao Ling seemed to have sensed something as she asked with a somewhat worried expression on her face.

”Indeed, it looks like an ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire is here, but you don’t need to worry about it, I will handle it. Just help my three disciples get back to the sect when I sent you out of the mountain range in a bit.”

”An ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire!? S-Senior, you really don’t need to fall out with the Blue Sea Empire for my sake, if-”

”Don’t worry about it, this fellow is only at the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm. Not to mention, a disciple of mine also happened to kill this fellow’s family member…” Rolling his eyes at the last part of the sentence, Xuan Hao glanced not so discreetly towards Chu Yang.

”Huh? M-me!?”

”Haaa… So, you really don’t need to worry about this…”

Rolling his eyes again at his oblivious disciple, who was not even aware that he had killed the family member of a Celestial Immortal Realm Ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire, Xuan Hao focused his attention back on the matter at hand while having Zhao Ling and his disciples retreat behind him. Planning to send them away when a battle broke out.

WHOOSH-!

As a few seconds passed with his disciples and Zhao Ling nervously looking into the distance where a terrifying presence had suddenly emerged before rapidly approaching their location, the origin of the terrifying presence soon entered their view before almost instantly closing the distance and arriving in front of them. The speed of someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm far surpassing anything they could grasp with their current cultivation realm.

”YOU!? Elder of the Star Shattering Sect, is that person who killed MY nephew related to you?! And THAT WOMAN! Is she also related to you!?”

Seeing Xuan Hao, the Ancestor from the Blue Sea Empire barely managed to contain his killing intent as he asked this. Giving him a chance to step aside.

After all, he didn’t want to fall out with Xuan Hao, as that would essentially also mean falling out with the ancient hidden sect behind him, something that even a powerful major power like the Blue Sea Empire didn’t want to do.

Not to mention, he wasn’t entirely clear on Xuan Hao’s strength. Only knowing that he should at least be in the Celestial Immortal Realm to be an elder of an ancient hidden sect.

”Yes, they are, one turned out to be a disciple of my sect, while I just recruited the other to join my sect after hearing a rather admirable tale about her time in the Blue Sea Empire. Hm~ What was it again~? Something about cutting off the third leg of some lowlife trying to take advantage of her~?”

Hearing what Xuan Hao said, the ancestor of the Blue Sea Empire almost exploded on the spot as his expression towards Xuan Hao filled with rage and killing intent.

Not only did he ignore his offer to avoid a fallout between them, but he even brought up what had happened to the crown prince and told him that he admired the culprit for what she did!

”YOU! You really want to fall out with the Blue Sea Empire!?”

”Want to fall out with the Blue Sea Empire? Do you perhaps think my sect cares about your empire? Don’t flatter yourself, you at most have a few Profound Immortals at the Sea Formation Realm. Do you really believe that is enough to make my Star Shattering Sect care about you?”

Not showing any weakness in the face of the clear threat from the ancestor of the Blue Sea Empire, Xuan Hao showed a clear hint of disdain on his face as he said this.

Intending to go all the way in trying to make the Blue Sea Empire more worried about acting against the Star Shattering Sect when they learnt about this encounter.
