Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”I’m Xuan Hao, an elder of the Star Shattering Sect.” Seeing the now shocked expression on the face of the female cultivator who he had just saved, Xuan Hao didn’t waste any time as he directly introduced himself as an elder of the Star Shattering Sect.

”Star Shattering Sect? Ah! You are from that sect that has been talked about by the different major powers recently! I’m Zhao Ling, a wandering cultivator! Thank you so much for saving me earlier!”

In response, it didn’t take long for the female cultivator to introduce herself as Zhao Ling, a wandering cultivator, something that only made Xuan Hao’s smile even more brightly as her being a wandering cultivator was the best-case scenario.

”No worries, I see that you are already at the Peak of the Soul Ascension Realm and should have been engaged in the earlier fight to sharpen and refine your mind in preparation for taking on the seventh tribulation.” Smiling kindly as he said this with a hint of admiration, he quietly turned his head slightly away upon seeing the clearly proud expression on the face of Zhao Ling. ”Hm… But seeing that you are a wandering cultivator, you shouldn’t have much information on the Dao Seed Realm…” Before quietly muttering this just barely loud enough for her to hear him.

”Dao Seed Realm? What is the Dao Seed Realm?”

And as predicted, she bit the bait almost immediately. Asking him with a confused look on her face.

”The Dao Seed Realm is the realm that comes after the Domain Lord Realm for those who decided to follow the path of the Soul Ascension Realm instead of trying their luck at the Dao Domain Lord Realm that gives them a chance to not just jump past the Soul Ascension Realm but even the Dao Seed Realm if they manage to reach the later stages of the realm. Allowing them to directly reach the Profound Immortal Realm in one step.”

”Dao Domain Lord Realm? Profound Immortal Realm? Huh? Huh?” Looking like her small head was about to explode upon learning a large amount of new information that completely overturned her understanding of the cultivation system she had been following all her life, Zhao Ling could only look up at Xuan Hao with even more confusion on her face, but at the same time also a hint of awe.

Not doubting him because the power he had shown had already surpassed anything she had seen before. Even making her believe that he might even be a legendary Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator, an existence that had no reason to lie to a small wandering cultivator like herself.

”Haha, quite an innocent expression for someone in the Soul Ascension Realm, do you perhaps want to learn more?”

”Yes! A-a-and I’m only 1107 years old! Even those geniuses from the Blue Sea Empire like the crown prince are only my match because of the large quantity of resources given to them by the Blue Sea Empire!”

”Only 1107 years old… Ahm! Indeed, it is quite impressive, if you want to, how about joining my Star Shattering Sect as an elder? I’m sure you would be able to find the information you want in the sect’s library.” Muttering the first part just loud enough for himself to hear, he quickly focused back on the goal at hand as he decisively extended an invitation to join the sect to Zhao Ling.

”Join the Star Shattering Sect? I… I don’t know if that is suitable for someone like me… I really want to join, but I do have some past enmity and will implicate the sect if I end up joining…”

”Don’t worry about it, the Star Shattering Sect is an ancient sect and there is little we fear on this continent.”

”Really?!”

”Yes.”

”Great! Then I will be more than happy to join the Star Shattering Sect! Ah! The enmity I was talking about is with the current crown prince of the Blue Sea Empire.”

Seeing her happily accept his invitation after he reassured her, Xuan Hao was just about to welcome her to the sect when he suddenly heard what she said at the end.

”Crown prince of the Blue Sea Empire? If it isn’t too much for me to ask… How did you end up falling out with this crown prince…?”

”Huh? Oh, nothing much, he tried to lay his hands on me while talking about how gracious I should feel, and I promptly cut off his third leg before escaping. Although, with the healing medicine available to the Blue Sea Empire, they should have found a way to restore it by now. Hmph, I only acted in self-defense, yet they even sent a Celestial Immortal Ancestor after me! If not for me, having found an ancient teleportation formation and using it to escape from the Blue Sea Empire I would have long since been dead!

However, now that I’m part of the Star Shattering Sect, it looks like I can finally cultivate in peace without having to constantly worry about being found by those people from the Blue Sea Empire. Hehe, thank you so much for granting me this opportunity Elder Xuan!”

”N-no problem at all, I’m happy to have you join the sect…”

Hearing Zhao Ling describe how she had ended up falling out with the Blue Sea Empire, Xuan Hao could not help feeling his lips twitching ever so slightly as he did his best to hide his worry at this news. Understanding that there was no way the Blue Sea Empire would let go of it if they discovered that this woman had joined the Star Shattering Sect.

At the very least, he should be able to keep her hidden inside the Star Shattering Sect like how he had essentially hidden away Pei Yang from the Blue Sea Empire so far.

But… The Blue Sea Empire… They seemed to be making enemies with some rather powerful female cultivators in this kind of way.

First was Xuan Gui and now Zhao Ling, it wouldn’t surprise him if there were more people like that out there.

Maybe he should focus on finding these enemies of the Blue Sea Empire in the future? After all, they should be more than willing to join the Star Shattering Sect if he offered them protection from the Blue Sea Empire in return…
