Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Returning to the Star Shattering Sect through the teleportation formation that he had set up in the past at a nearby spirit stone mine, Xuan Hao could not help taking a deep breath filled with relief. Feeling overjoyed at finally being back in the sect again with all his disciples safe and sound, but more than that, the spiritual qi of the Shattered Star Peak was far better than that of the Central Region. Feeling incomparable to anything there when it came to the soothing effect it had on the mind. Easing away some of the stress he felt knowing that he had now officially fallen out with the Blue Sea Empire.

Hopefully, they won’t be trying something anytime soon, as they should be far too busy dealing with the demonic cultivators to worry about the Star Shattering Sect.

After all, different from the demonic cultivators, the Star Shattering Sect wasn’t expanding anymore and pretty much remained in the resourceless outer region without infringing on the territory of the Blue Sea Empire in the Northern Core Region.

Even if Bai Shenyang wanted revenge and tried everything in his power to sway the rest of the Blue Sea Empire into action, he doubted it would be successful given that the demonic cultivators was a very real threat and wouldn’t let go of an opportunity where the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators of the Blue Sea Empire left to fight with the Star Shattering Sect.

Not to mention, if they really did something, he could always make use of her connection to Xuan Gui and have her help relay the movements of the Blue Sea Empire to those above her, as he doubted, they would give up the opportunity to strike down some of the Blue Sea Empire’s peak cultivators.

In a sense, the Star Shattering Sect’s proximity to the Frozen Wasteland had turned into an advantage that could be leverage in the form of relying on the demonic cultivators to take quick action the moment the Blue Sea Empire tried to do anything to the Star Shattering Sect. Not because they liked the Star Shattering Sect or anything, but more so because it would be a great opportunity to kill their enemies.

Now that I think about it, I wonder when she is going to ask me to send her into the Blue Sea Empire for her little revenge plot.

Thinking this to himself as he thought about the past promise he had made to Xuan Gui about helping her enter the Blue Sea Empire in the future, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit curious about the current situation of the demon cultivators inside the Frozen Wastelands. After all, he did not manage to get much information on the events inside the different demonic sects spread throughout the Frozen Wasteland. Only ever learning about the existence of the Frozen Wasteland Demon King sitting on top of the entire Frozen Wasteland and one of the main people behind the rise of demonic cultivator throughout the continent.

Of course, he wasn’t going to enter the Frozen Wasteland, as that would be throwing his life away in the current state of the Frozen Wasteland where Demon King Realm cultivators started to appear everywhere on the borders of the Frozen Wasteland.

Even if he might have the strength to fight a single demonic cultivator in the Demon King Realm, it would not take long for others to notice and swarm him.

Not to mention, he had no plans leaving the sect at the moment, as he already learnt from Qing Yi and Chun Hua that Elder Song seemed to be almost desperately asking for his help a short time before they had left the sect.

Though he had no idea what Elder Song was asking for his help in, he had a feeling that it might be related to the wandering cultivators that had recently joined the sect causing some kind of problem that he was unable to solve by himself and needed it himself.

Whoosh~

”Hm?”

However, when he used his divine sense to sweep through the sect to look for these potential troublemakers, he didn’t find anyone, but instead only saw the recently recruited wandering cultivators happily blending in among the elders and disciples of the sect without encountering any problems.

Instead of encountering problems, it looked like they had managed to perfectly integrate into the sect without any problems, something that could be done by someone like Elder Song.

But… If the wandering cultivators who joined the sect wasn’t the problem, then what was the problem that Elder Song had been desperate to see him for?

Feeling a bit confused, Xuan Hao decided to just go to the person in question and ask him instead of trying to guess the answer on his own.

…

Arriving in front of Elder Song’s office that seemed to have grown since he was last there, Xuan Hao patiently waited for him to finish what he was doing at the moment instead of waltzing in and interrupting him in the middle of his work, something he soon came to regret as he ended up spending the next half hour waiting in front of the door to his office before he lost patience and entered on his own. Having a feeling that he might not see him today if he decided to just wait around outside the office.

”Xuan Hao!? Your back? That’s great, I have been hoping to find for the past few weeks by now.”

Seeing Xuan Hao enter, Elder Song first showed a somewhat surprised look before it became one of joy as he walked over with a smile.

”I heard that on the way, what was the important thing that made you look for me? If it was really something that important, you could always have contacted me through the communication talisman I gave you before leaving.”

”That… That thing is far too expensive to use. Not to mention, it was something that could wait until you got back to the sect. So, no harm done.”

”So, then, what is?”

”That… When you were gone, Feng Chen happened upon a discovery back in the old Flying Sword Sect and…”
