Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4144  A Football?

Davis returned to the mini-realm after taking numerous twists and turns to make sure no one was following him. He entered the Second Void Dust Sanctuary.

”Welcome back~” Stella greeted him at the entrance.

His dull face lit up as she saw her cheeky expression, causing him to greet her with a kiss and bring her home along with him. He was fooling around with her on the way before Stella finally reported on her current cultivation progress.

”Hehe~ Those Heavenʼs Warriors Illumina and the others killed had some spatial-attributed resources. Now Iʼm only a step away from reaching the Ninth Cycle.”

”Really? Thatʼs great.”

Davis was gratified to hear that. The stronger Stella becomes, the more safe their realm will be. If she entered the ninth cycle, then the next breakthrough would be the Empyrean Stage.

An Empyrean Stage Void Dust Tree? He couldnʼt help but wait to witness her magnificence.

It also made his thoughts wander as he thought about her mother, Wix Voidfield. What was she doing now?

For all he knew, they couldʼve gone to the Upper Realms already.

After all, Saintess Lunaria had entered the Empyrean Stage. If she wanted to progress faster, then going to the Upper Realms would be the right choice. Then again, she had her disciples who would bring her everything in order to repay her. Therefore, she could also be in hiding in some hideout and cultivating all day long without stopping.

It was difficult to tell what she would be doing.

ʼIt should be fine as long as she didnʼt venture out to that ruins on her own…ʼ

Davis imagined. She had stayed in the Immortal Emperor Stage for a long time, so it is unlikely she would be meeting any bottlenecks. In fact, if she had a resource that enabled her to reach the Exalt Stage in an instant, then she wouldnʼt be meeting any blocks either.

He then gazed at Stella, knowing she also wouldnʼt meet with any bottlenecks.

For Stella, she was just growing. It wasnʼt cultivation. The more resources she consumed, the faster she would grow. Only... the resources she needed to consume were absolutely massive. Even the Vast Nebular Orchid, a resource that could produce many space-attributed Empyreans, wasnʼt enough for her.

It only gave her four cycles.

This was also one of the reasons Stella was scared that she would be abandoned. However, she was pretty happy right now, smiling like a flower wherever she went.

He rustled her hair and told her to go play with Calypsea.

Stella ran off, remembering she promised to meet Eterna later.

On the other hand, Davis went straight to meet Lest Mistwalker.

”Are you done with the formation?”

Once he was there, Davis asked him but only received a shake of his head.

”How long will it take?”

”No idea.”

”I see. I need it fast, as soon as possible, so keep it up.”

”Okay.”

Lest Mistwalker never took his gaze off the thousands of scrolls that contained the diagram of the formation structure. He merely gave a thumbs up in Davisʼs direction.

Davis didnʼt disturb him.

Lest Mistwalker looked miserable with disheveled hair and a beard.

Clearly, he hadnʼt taken care of himself for some time, not even washing himself with water energy that most cultivators could summon with their energy.

He seemed to be working hard and immersed in this formation.

Davis didnʼt stay and walked out. He flew towards the bandit beast group and sensed a King-Tier aura all over. It had been five days since they returned. Clearly, Everlight had rewarded them after they probably used up their contribution points. There was ample time for her to use her energy in intervals.

After all, making Empyrean Beasts enter King Tier will take a lot of energy.

Everlight was also only a thin line away from entering the Empyrean Beast Stage. However, it was unknown what the tribulation would be like since she was an Elysian Jadesoul Fox who apparently went extinct.

Of course, it was unlikely she would die, but it was better to take it slow at the moment.

Sometimes, having too much power will also invite calamity, which is one of the reasons he wouldnʼt use Fallen Heaven lightly. It was just too dangerous.

Nonetheless, as he moved towards the bandit beast group, he saw them playing football with a red ball.

However, his brows couldnʼt help but twitch as he saw it was Aric Stormsongʼs head.

”Here, here, kick it. Make that goal!”

Gralex shouted, and King ran. With intense focus, he held back his power to the max and kicked Aric Stormsong towards the goal.

The goalkeeper was none other than Skylia.

She couldnʼt help but look away when the ʼballʼ shot towards her. It flew right past her and hit the goalpost.

*Dong!~*

”Fuck!”

King cursed and ran towards Aric Stormsongʼs head that was rolling away, but eventually, he noticed Davis was there, which caused him to turn around and cup his hands.

”Boss.”

”Master!”

The others also greeted. They looked at him with a reverent expression. He could control Calypsea. That same Calypsea was the one who freed them from their chains, and now, she rocked the world.

”What is this?” Davis had a blank expression.

”Ugh… Fairy Mingzhi told us to play this game called football if we were bored and use his head as the ball, so we couldnʼt resist.”

”…” Davis wondered if this was also included in her torture compilation book.

Nonetheless, he walked towards Aric Stormsong and made him fly with a flick of his finger.

His severed neck seemed to be tied, so there wasnʼt any blood loss. However, his expression was miserable, with numerous swellings around his head, especially his nose, which seemed to have bulged like it was its own ball.

Davis absolutely couldnʼt recognize him.

Was this the charming and handsome Aric Stormsong? He was more like an absolute clown, causing Davis to fume.

”Are you an idiot? For what reason did you come to the Lower Realms and want to take revenge on me? You shouldʼve remained in your puny palace and spent the rest of your life there.”

”Hmmm!”

Aric Stormsong could only let out a pathetic whimper. Tears were dripping down his swollen eyes. However, he couldnʼt speak because his mouth had been stitched close and his soul sealed. His soul even had Yufellaʼs karmic veil, so it would be immensely difficult for anyone to find him even if they had his blood.

Unless they killed him and destroyed the karmic veil, it would be very difficult to find him.

”What do you think? You think your family would buy a second time?”

Davis raised his brows, asking, ”Naturally, I wouldnʼt let you leave for a low price. This time, Iʼll be asking for a Peak Autarch Grade resource at the very least.”

”Hmmhmh!”

”But on second thought, I should have Aila kill you. You almost tricked and took advantage of her, didnʼt you?”

*Pow!~*

A heavy slap fell on Aric Stormsongʼs face, sending him flying.
