Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4106  Rise Of The Solar Dragon Emperor?

After congratulating them for their pregnancy and making small talk, he got to the point.

”So, have the four of you discussed?”

”We did.”

”We agree.”

Kara Moonridge and Jade Sua answered.

Drake frowned, ”Just so you know- Iʼm extremely unwilling to endanger my wives in this crazy experiment of yours, but it is ultimately our own choice to use this idea. Elowen is a courageous woman. She is willing to take the risk along with me. You donʼt have any part in it, regardless of the outcome.”

Davis smiled. He could tell that Drake wanted him to step out of the position of responsibility so that when something went wrong, and they horribly died, he wouldnʼt need to take accountability.

He shot a look at Elowen and saw that she had reached the Immortal Emperor Stage. That was good for the experiment as she would be able to manage and refine annihilative heavenly yin better with the Duality Anarchy-Harmony Vine, but he shook his head.

”Donʼt worry. If something goes horribly wrong, Iʼm there to forcibly bring you two back to life. When I created my current Essence Gathering Cultivation Physique, it was my women who helped me. They were practically bloodied each time a part of me exploded over trying to condense three types of berserk annihilative energies. It was bloody and gruesome, almost making it traumatic for them, but they trusted me and stuck with me until the end. I hope itʼs the same for you two. Donʼt doubt what youʼre doing, or it will result in your demise.”

Davis advised sincerely.

He gave them the Duality Anarchy-Harmony Vine that he kept for them and handed over two life rings. One life ring had a wisp of annihilative heavenly yang, and the other had a sphere of annihilative heavenly yin.

Fortunately, Myriaʼs techniques made the annihilative heavenly yin much tamer, so he believed that even if something went wrong, Elowen Frostbloom would be safe while Drake would only suffer some damage.

”You have our sincere thanks, brother Davis.”

”In the future, please leave things regarding yin and yang to us. Weʼll do our best to bring forth countless research materials.”

Kara Moonridge and Jade Suaʼs expressions relaxed upon hearing him give his word to revive them. That alone soothed their hearts. They were pregnant with Drakeʼs child, so they couldnʼt participate in this crazy endeavor, and that made them feel like they had let Drake down. He had done so many things for them, but they couldnʼt repay.

However, they were happy that they got pregnant. It seems like Davis was the one who fed that idea to Drake, so they were also thankful to him.

ʼResearch materials…ʼ

Davis smiled wryly. If it was Drake who had said it, he would believe it was dual cultivation manuals and techniques but since it was Jade Sua who was stern and forthright, he knew that she was talking about the knowledge of Yin Laws and Yang Laws.

After some time, Davis left.

”Husband, weʼre sorry that we canʼt help you.” Kara Moonridge shot an apologetic smile.

Drake shook his head, ”What weʼre going to attempt will change our lives. I might even doom our descendants with this decision, not giving them a path of survival even if we were to die in the future. After all, a Divergentʼs Family may not be looked upon well. They would be treated less than slaves and livestock, possibly having a kill on order sight if their names and features were to be known.”

”…”

Kara Moonridge, Jade Sua, and Elowen Frostbloomʼs expressions were grim. They obviously didnʼt want to become sinners and go against the heavens. It was not something they would choose unless it was a last resort. However, their husband talked with them, and they decided to suffer the consequences together.

”Donʼt worry. We will follow you to the depths of the underworld no matter the cost.”

Elowen Frostbloom reached out to him from behind and wrapped her arms around his neck. It made Drake smile as he raised his hand and placed his hand over hers.

He felt gratified since they decided to follow him, but they did give him a condition.

”If youʼre going down this step, you must at least become more powerful than a supreme genius. Otherwise, it wouldnʼt be fair to your children.”

That was what they had placed on him, but he was certain they wanted to say that he must become as powerful as Davis. They were aware of his rivalry with Davis.

Whether it was a bosom friend or a sworn brother, one needed to be equal. Positive emotions can only go so far. He painfully understood it since all kinds of negative emotions welled up in his heart and may form a crack in the relationship one would share.

Fortunately, that drunk talk with his friends made him see the light and make this decision.

Drakeʼs gaze flashed with intense determination and fortitude.

Now, all he could do was succeed and become powerful enough to be an exceedingly powerful cultivator in this universe.

Davis returned to his palace. He thought about visiting one of his wives but eventually initiated seclusion after arranging a lot of things that he said he would do, like sending Lest the Celestial Luminescence Pill.

He brought in his avatar, who was playing with his children most of the time. It was a tearful farewell after he bid them goodbye with his main body. The children were reluctant, but they knew he had to take care of the family, so the elder ones didnʼt say anything, but the little ones Azariel and Viridia basically wrapped around his feet and refused to let him go until he said otherwise.

Fortunately, their mothers were there to soothe them.

A week passed just like that.

During this time, Stella finally managed to consume the Vast Nebula Orchid and vastly increased her cultivation. From the peak of the Fourth Cycle, she progressed to the Fifth Cycle. She didnʼt stop and continued to increase her cultivation, reaching the Sixth and Seventh Cycle.

Just when people who were witnessing her growth felt she would enter the Eighth Cycle and stop, she didnʼt. She continued to progress in the Eighth Cycle and reached all the way to Level Seven Immortal Emperor Stage!

With that, the number of realms she could create also increased. Her teleportation range also seemed to have increased a lot that she bragged she could now encompass the entire space of the Lower Realms as long as she could reach the Ninth Cycle, meaning that from the very center of all forty-eight Lower Realms, she should be able to appear anywhere as long as she built a mini-realm around that area!

”Hmph, I could have reached this level way earlier if you hadnʼt all pushed me around for realm travel.”

Stella boasted, looking all smug.

Ellia merely smiled and didnʼt expose that they were in the Golden Age since heaven and earth energy was dense. In the history of this galaxy, if the heaven and earth energy started becoming sparse, then it was said that they were going to be in a Desolate Age. At the same time, realm travel would become nearly impossible because the distance between each Lower Realm might become hundreds of times.

It was because the realm pathways were special. They were not just empty spaces leading to realms.

For this same reason, teleportation formations between realms didnʼt work in both ages. It was as though there was an invisible wall blocking the teleportation formation from stabilizing, so any attempt to use teleportation formation to reach another realm would be met with failure and sent blasting into the void and ending up who knows where in the Third Layer, sometimes resulting in death.

However, this so-called Desolate Age was a time even beyond the Celestial Transcendent, so she didnʼt know the specifics.

Nonetheless, after Stella was done reaching the eighth cycle, she built a new mini-realm in the Goldlust Rat Minor Realm and transported people there, allowing people to undergo their tribulations fairly easily.

The first batch was sent.

Meanwhile, thousands of supreme geniuses from the Upper Realms had seemed to arrive in the Lower Realms and were gathering in the Ghostly Crow Lower Realm and Eternal Twilight Lower Realm.

Countless people were shocked by their prowess and were rallying under them in a bid to form a second crusade against the Divine Emperor of Death! With the covenant publicized, they imagined this was the only chance they could get to end a calamity once and for all.
