Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4140  Packaged Threat

The nine Realm Masters went pale.

Calypseaʼs chilling gaze was on them. Even though she was small, the incredible aura she radiated couldnʼt be faked. It was absolutely frightening.

She narrowed her eyes, ”Are they inside those shiny stones?”

”Not exactly. Theyʼre imagery stones, you see…”

Davis took the time to teach her what these were, and the Realm Masters and the others could only look at them in silence.

An apocalyptic incarnation was actually learning things instead of destroying everything in sight.

A few people couldnʼt understand what was going on while a few others wondered if the Divine Emperor of Death was showing that this creature from the depths of a purgatory could be communicated with. Some even wondered if this apocalyptic spirit was a well-crafted lie, but then it shouldnʼt have been possible for the Realm Core to have melted.

”I see. So theyʼre in different locations. The realm we went to have fun in is also one of those realms, which means that a white-haired fellow who used wind energy is also there.”

”Precisely,” Davis caressed Calypseaʼs cheek with pride.

She was learning fast.

”Mhm~ If it werenʼt for the tasty realm core, I- I wouldʼve burned him alive. He was bullying elder sister Lereza, that evil man. I will finish him off the next time I see him~”

Calypsea held her fists up and complained, her cheeks reddening before she harrumphed and looked away, looking dissatisfied with herself and a bit embarrassed.

It seems that she understood that she got distracted by food and failed to take down the enemy.

Realm Master Thousand Windblades could only watch with horror in his eyes. He perspired, wondering if she was lying in an ambush somewhere. After all, this was already recorded!

”Donʼt worry. He is on my kill list, but not so much as that Ghostly Crow Realm Master. Should we feast on his Realm Core next?”

”Whoʼs that? You said not to harm people unless they are aggressive towards us, towards me.”

”Indeed. That stupid crow hurt your elder sister Illumina. He also nearly killed my lovely wife, Saintess Myria, after she broke through to the Immortal Emperor Stage. How could I let him go after he righteously tried to take them down? He needs to pay, donʼt you think?”

”Yes! Kill! Kill! Kill!”

Calypsea jumped and flew around Davis before she stopped, landing on the ground and looking at him excitedly.

”…”

The Ghostly Crow Realm Masterʼs expression wasnʼt good. He couldnʼt stop his shuddering as he felt like he was locked on by an undying existence. Could this apocalyptic spirit even be killed?

Why did Realm Master Thousand Windblades flee on the spot? Could it be that he had no chance of defeating it?

Many questions ran through his mind, but he couldnʼt see the end of it or the light, feeling like he was trapped underneath red skies.

The people around him looked at him with worried expressions, some fearing for their lives.

”Alright, alright. Calm down, Calypsea.”

Davis could see that Calypsea was indeed a spirit who loved destruction. She would leap at the chance if given one. He was a bit worried, but for the projectionʼs sake, he had to maintain his act.

After Calypsea calmed but still grinning, he rustled her soft and silky purple hair with affection.

”We will eventually get to that point someday… perhaps even soon, but it all depends on those-”

”Realm Masters,”

He finally turned his attention to them as he looked at the stones.

”I know Heavenʼs Warriors wouldnʼt stop before killing me once and for all. Theyʼve sworn to kill Divergents like me and this little sweetheart, so I can rarely have a reasonable conversation with them, but you all… are different.”

”We could avoid combat, place boundaries, and act within our self-governed rights. As long as you donʼt interfere with me and my family, your realms will all remain safe and sound. You have my word that I will not harm you or send Calypsea to have a bite out of your realm cores.”

”Ah!~” Calypsea went stiff. She looked at Davis as though she had just betrayed him.

”Donʼt worry. They will definitely attack us. They will try to kill you, and you can easily retaliate and eat their realm cores.”

Davis whispered, but it was definitely audible.

”I shee~”

Calypsea also whispered back, sneakily smiling as she looked down. She acted as though she was a statue.

Davis felt joyous. He was acting, but Calypsea was not. This was her pure, unadulterated reaction to his words. He didnʼt think he would get a huge kick from bullying people with a little girl. He could only imagine their expressions and feel regret that he wasnʼt actually there in the scene.

Indeed, the expressions of the Realm Masters couldnʼt be any more unsightly. He was basically threatening them. If they do not comply, then their realm cores will be melted, and they could forget binding it ever again by the looking of things.

After all, Realm Master Thousand Windblades still didnʼt succeed in rebinding it!

If even a previous Realm Master couldnʼt bind it, then they could only imagine what the implications were!

Besides there was also the legend of the apocalyptic flames. It was said that if they were burned in it, then they wouldnʼt have a chance to reincarnate. No one knew the truth of it, and it was mostly considered superstition, but at this point, was it really the case?

Davis turned to look at them and continued.

”Does this offer only extend to the nine of you? Surely not. It extends to every major power in the Lower Realms and Minor Realms. As long as you donʼt offend me and my family, you donʼt need to worry about sweet Calypsea melting your homes down. I wonʼt make trouble either, as having a harmonious life is my way of living. I also use life energy, so why wonʼt people take a look at that? Is using death energy really that evil?”

Davis unleashed the two energies in both hands. His control of those two energies appeared to be impeccable. However, he quickly flicked his sleeves and sighed.

”Right, talking about that would be pointless. Only fists speak, so Iʼm really not joking around. Calypsea is barely three, but she will even burn Autarch Elluro Coldwing like he was a twig. She has a big appetite, and now that she has tasted a Realm Core, I can only imagine how difficult it would be to keep her from making trouble.”

He cupped his hands, looking all sincere, ”Therefore, I truly… request your cooperation.”

”…”

Cooperation?

Cooperation for what!? To attack him and feed themselves to her!?

They wanted to pounce and punch him in the face.

However, they suddenly saw him go serious as his eyes narrowed. He dropped his hand and looked at them with a cold gleam in his eyes.

”Ghostly Crow Realm Master, I donʼt even know you, but I abhor you.”

”…!”

The Ghostly Crow Realm Masterʼs heart sank. He knew his turn would come.
