Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4105  Double Hexagon Star Unique Formation?

Davisʼs heart shook as he heard Lest Mistwalkerʼs idea.

He felt that this was certainly conceivable, considering the heavens used this factor to surround Anarchic Divergents to death. Their combination was one of the deadliest he had ever seen. If the Anarchic Divergent possessed the same prowess as them, they were pretty much screwed. Each paragon magical beast took advantage of the other. The rabbit had been particularly terrifying, replicating endlessly to rip him to death. The other beasts, like the karmic turtle, also couldnʼt be defended against.

Nonetheless, the biggest hurdle in this kind of formation was that the beastsʼ attributes werenʼt compatible.

After all, it wasnʼt any day a formation expert suddenly decided to gather willing magical beasts from the Twelve Paragon Magical Beasts line. Even if they did, it was nearly impossible to gather all twelve beasts possessing the same attribute, in this case, darkness. Even if they did gather these beasts, it was nearly impossible to force them to work together to use the formation.

Their own bloodlines might become a hindrance. After all, the Twelve Paragon Magical Beasts each represented one or many Laws. For example, the Phoenix was said to encompass as much as six or seven Laws. No one knew for sure what the truth was, but it was believed to be seven since there was the Seven-Colored Phoenix.

Hence, there needed to be certain compatibility for the formation to work.

Even Skylia may be a Wind Phoenix, but he was aware that she could use darkness energy. This was almost the same as when Flamerose told him that her mother held ice-attributed variance as a Fire Phoenix. Merely, he believed that it wasnʼt the result of the physique but the blood inside the body. He wasnʼt sure which, but he could ask later.

With this, Skylia was capable of using Darkness Laws. He wondered if her blood changed because she became King-Tier, but she still seemed to exhibit the aura of darkness, so he wasnʼt worried that the formation that Lest thought would fail.

Davis also knew the cost wouldnʼt be ordinary for this kind of formation. It may not be easy to build. It may never even finish.

However, he was gratified that Lest was already thinking of attempting something crazy instead of settling for high-end formations from his family. That was a sign that Lest was an inventor and not just a formation cultivator who followed an orthodox and fixed path.

ʼItʼs no wonder he obtained the Celestial Luminescence Pill back then. His karmic luck should also be good… and his destiny… well, I may have accidentally flipped it yet again…ʼ

Davis wryly smiled at him, feeling bad for him.

”Do you not like this plan?” Lest hesitatingly asked.

If his backer said no, then he didnʼt need to bother attempting it because the time taken and resources required would be astronomical.

”No, itʼs good, but its development could be pushed back a bit. First, Iʼll let you undergo what you lost out on- a pill essence bestowal from the Celestial Luminescence Pill.”

”…!”

”This should help you become more skillful and, hopefully, decrease the workload on that formation by helping you comprehend the mysteries behind it better.”

”It would! It definitely would!”

Lest was excited. He wanted that pill back then all because it would tremendously help him comprehend the mysteries of heaven and earth and allow him to become more proficient in constructing and setting up formations. This pillʼs essence came from the Ethereal Lumina Tree Fruit. It was the world tree of a realm. Hence, it contained all the knowledge of the earth in the heaven and earth.

With the Celestial Luminescence Pill, his confidence was boosted double the times.

”Many thanks, Davis.”

Lest smiled with his teeth. He couldnʼt hide his happiness and even called out the Divine Emperor of Deathʼs name. It seemed that a barrier had come down from his mind.

”Not a problem. Iʼll have you toil endlessly for my family.”

”…” Lestʼs expression sank.

Davis chuckled before he turned to look at his new subordinates.

Originally, he intended to send them with his brothers to save their families. After all, they were all, without a doubt, darkness beasts capable of concealing themselves more or less. They were just the right group to send for this rescue mission.

Only, he needed to wait until they became Empyrean Beasts. They were just a fine line away from taking the next step.

As long as they could become Empyrean Beasts, then the success rate of the mission would drastically go high.

However, there was still some time before he allowed his brothers to leave, so he planned to make them head out for some banditry. But Lest suddenly came up with an idea for a unique formation, which made him think again.

”You all should recuperate and be at your best to undergo your Empyrean Stage Tribulation soon. Everlight, heal them. After you heal them, go have some fun. Youʼd been cooped up in the garden for long. Illumina, you continue to stay with them until they learn their ways here. Show them the ropes, if you will.”

”Understood~” Illumina replied.

She also summoned an extra illusory clone to look after Everlight.

Everlightʼs life energy came out in waves as they crashed against the magical beasts while Davis turned around to leave. Everlight pouted. She wished he had stayed but was aware he was too busy.

After a few minutes, Davis stood behind a palace door.

When the doors opened, he grinned.

”Yo.”

The golden-robed man in front of him clenched his teeth, ”Donʼt tell me you obtained the resources?”

Davis nodded with a wide grin, ”Your end is nigh. My presence heralds your doom. Become an Anarchic Divergent or die, Drake.”

”Fuck.”

Drake faltered, wanting to punch out, but he dared not as he knew he would be sent flying.

Two minutes later, Davis was seated on a sofa.

Sitting opposite him were Kara Moonridge, Drake, and Jade Sua. Behind them was Elowen Frostbloom. She was standing with a plate like a maid, but her mannerisms were one of nobility.

Drakeʼs ladies were hospitable to him, giving him fine tea and even cakes. He tasted them after a long time, making him feel like he returned to earth. He guessed he should exchange some ice cream made from bovines for them later.

Sooner or later, he was going to have ice cream cakes.
