Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3496  Placating Zephya

”Yes,” Davis sighed as he activated the messaging talisman, ”but sheʼs fine. I will bring her back, so donʼt worry.”

”…”

After a moment of silence, Fioraʼs voice resounded.

”Darling… itʼs okay to soothe her intimately… she respects you and wants to become something more with you…”

”…”

Davis paused as he heard Fiora speak softly.

Naturally, he shouldʼve known Fiora wouldʼve understood Zephyaʼs feelings since they spend so much time together. However, neither she nor Zephya ever told him about it, so all he thought of Zephya was that she was a being who liked to flirt since it was in her innate nature.

He couldnʼt be blamed for this misunderstanding as he had always thought Zephya retained her personality from her days as a Sultry Cloudburst Tempest Wisp. It was in nature for this speciesʼ spirits to act like a flirt and lure their targets to devour them with wind, although they were particularly known to be harmless to humans since they adored them, even sometimes taking their shape as a Spirit Attribute Source.

”Understood.”

He didnʼt say much and kept the messaging talisman inside his spatial ring, raising his head to look at Zephya, who looked at him with a bit of expectation.

”Zephya, trust me. If I were any insincere in wanting to make love with a woman, I wouldʼve held you and made love with you the moment you flirted with me for the first time. Your charm alone is enough to shatter the restraint of many men, including mine at that time. However, I am serious when it comes to relationships, so I donʼt like if women try to charm me unless theyʼre mine…”

Zephya fumbled her head around, ”Iʼm sorry…. but… I am yours…”

Davis lightly smiled, ”I appreciate the sentiment but I have to clear the confusion. You are not mine. You are Fioraʼs, and I have always instructed you to feel that way. However, I now understand that I was insensitive to your feelings and constantly thwarted you from saying what you want and dismissed it because I thought you were simply flirting…”

”I was… flirting, but as I saw you more and more through Fioraʼs eyes, I donʼt know…. I just wanted to feel the same love she felt… I also… want to have your child…” Zephya confessed, her cheeks turning rosy.

”…”

Davis didnʼt know if this was Fioraʼs fault. He had told her to enclose the view from her soul sea when having dual cultivation with him, but he guessed that Fiora didnʼt care about such things and let it affect Zephya.

Knowing Fiora, he knew she couldʼve planned this to happen in a natural manner.

Honestly, he didnʼt care enough as well, even a while ago, as he made love to Eldia without caring about Zephyaʼs presence. He needed her for heavenly wind, but he relied on her through Fiora, so he didnʼt care if Zephya was a flirt and occasionally offended him.

He was willing to let her go with a slap to her butt, but he never really thought she would love him for real.

ʼThatʼs right… I treated her as air… disrespectful and insensitive…ʼ

Davis finally understood the full gist of her tantrum. If she had loving emotions for him, it was no wonder she would be hurt enough to leave. He inwardly admitted it was his wrong.

”Ah~”

Zephya screamed out.

Davis came out of his reverie, seeing Eldia apply lightning to Zephyaʼs wrist as, she caused her to flinch and shudder.

”You-”

Zephya glared at Eldia, who smirked, ”Shut up, you airhead. Donʼt you know you have to wait for your turn? Do you know how long I waited even though I was inside him all the time…?”

Eldia appeared a bit pissed.

She had been ready to be held by Davis, her beloved Master, for many years now, but he never went too far with her, saying that love was important, which took her so much time to comprehend.

”I am…” Zephyaʼs shoulders drooped, ”I am willing to wait… but he said that he doesnʼt love me…”

Eldia pouted, ”Master says what he thinks. He has no reason to fool you or me, so take his words in good faith. He didnʼt say that he wouldnʼt love you, after all…”

”Good faith…” Zephyaʼs emerald eyes glittered as though she was comprehending that term before she turned to look at him.

”If I wait, will you love me…?”

Davis pursed his lips, ”Well, no one can say what might happen in the future but I promise to heed your words from now on, so come back with us.”

Zephya finally smiled as he said that he would listen to her words. She moved towards him, and Eldia let go of her wrist, looking at Zephya with interest, only to see her hold Davisʼs sleeves as she looked at him with expectations.

”Then give me a kiss…”

”No.” Davis was firm, causing Zephya to pout.

”Why not? Master said you will give me a reward.”

”I did say that…” Davis closed his eyes, knowing that he had dug himself a coffin, ”but I donʼt think I can agree to such a rew-”

”Mua~”

He had just opened his eyes when Zephya pecked him on the lips and shot away with tremendous speed, leaving him dumbfounded.

”I will take that as a reward!~”

”Zephya! Come back!”

He yelled at her, both angered and worried.

”Donʼt worry! I will return to Fioraʼs side! Hehehe~”

Zephyaʼs voice resounded from the horizon. She was already gone, only her undulations quickly receding from the tumultuous swirls of tornadoes causing much chaos to the atmosphere.

”…”

Davis didnʼt know what to say. Even now, she was playful as soon as she was placated, not taking his words seriously even though he had told her not to seduce him using charm, much less a kiss.

However, he felt like this kiss had her intended effect as it induced a burst of emotions in him that made him feel Zephya was rather sweet. He couldnʼt help but look at her in a new light.

ʼFuck… just as I revealed I wonʼt take another woman for a hundred years to Tia, Zephya kisses me, breaking my word before I even gave it to my other women…ʼ

Davis lightly face-palmed.

Nonetheless, he knew there was no use blaming Zephya as she was honest in her emotions, even innocent, as he could see her wanting to experience love for the first time. Instead, he cursed himself for allowing her to close in on him when he shouldʼve known better.

”Master, donʼt worry. Sheʼs all yours…”

Eldia walked up to him and wrapped her arms around her, looking up at him with a sexy smile.

Davis blinked, ”Eldia, werenʼt you jealous?”

”I am, but by now, I know I canʼt stop you, and I learned how to share. However, in return, all the heavenly lightning we would share is mine now…”

She licked her lips, causing Davis to chuckle.

”You glutton… leave some for me…”

”Master can devour it from me…”

Eldia extended out her velvet tongue, a tiny essence of annihilative heavenly lightning rumbling above.

Davisʼs brows raised. She refined it using her own body?

He couldnʼt help but lean in and take her entire tongue into his mouth, sucking on it greedily as he felt his head tremble.

”Mhnn~~~”

Eldia felt so good in her mouth that her eyes almost rolled back. The way he held her waist and nape was also gratifying that she had to admit she was a slave to his love. Otherwise, she wouldnʼt have made the choice to remain with him as she didnʼt want to be restrained ever again.

But if it was with him…

”Mhn~” Eldia moaned lightly, seeing him let go of her mouth and look at her with a passionate gaze.

”Letʼs go back to your place.”

Davis said. He had never tasted annihilated heavenly lightning, but for the first time, he did. It held Eldiaʼs taste and was a bit spicy, not to mention exploding in his mouth ever so slightly as though he was eating crackers. His mood had been disturbed by Zephya, but with Eldia acting lovey-dovey, he wanted to continue from where they left off.

He wanted to make love with her badly, making him realize this was what he wanted to feel for Zephya if he ever wanted to hold her intimately, but he knew it was a long way ahead unless he focused on her.

Eldia shyly nodded with passion reveling in her eyes. She shuddered ever so lightly in his embrace as she felt these strange aches in her lower body, causing her to curl her toes every now and then.

Soon, they both left towards the Divergent Peak as Davis princess carried Eldia, quickly returning to the lightning lake.
