Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3488 For His Sake?

”Tia..”

Davis raised his hand and wiped Tiaʼs tears.

He didnʼt know whether she had cemented the experiences of her other self, but what she was feeling couldnʼt be dismissed by him. He called out her name softly, trying to console her.

Tia stopped her tears as she rubbed her eyes and shook her head before forcing a smile.

”Iʼm sorry. I said too much…”

”…”

Davis felt a sense of sadness when he felt like she was hiding a deep pain.

”Thereʼs nothing much I can do when Iʼm already taking a big step with you. If I donʼt stop with you, my wivesʼs gaze will no longer be the same. They might even try to hide my daughters from me, and I donʼt blame them because Iʼm crossing a line.”

Tia pouted, but she clenched her fists, appearing pissed, ”Iʼm not little anymore, and I can make decisions for myself~ I would have no one other say what is good for me when I know myself the best, not even you, big brother. Otherwise, I wouldʼve listened to you when you clearly didnʼt want to go this far. Besides, Iʼm just an aunt, and we arenʼt related that much as elder sister Claire, and I donʼt have the same mother. We only have the same father…”

”…”

Davis wryly smiled at her rather tame outburst. She was still considerate of him.

”Still… they know how I treated you like a little sister. You have been with me from the time you were a teenager. To touch you is quite a shameful deed for any protective figure of the opposite gender, and I know they will forgive me- no, look the other way because Iʼm the leader of the family, but I donʼt want them to think like that, so I am planning to reveal that I wouldnʼt take anyone else after you for the next hundred years at the very least.”

”What…?” Tiaʼs gaze shuddered.

Hundred years?

Wasnʼt that too long for them, who had barely crossed fifty years? If she didnʼt take Davisʼs previous life and the time lost in time anomaly, then he would be no more than thirty-five years old.

She felt like he was making a big decision that would harm his own Intent as she knew he was perfectly capable of this as the man in the storybook lost everything and didnʼt bother to find happiness again. She didnʼt want him to be that man, making her lips quiver as she almost cried again.

She tried to convince him, ”What about Legion Commander Yotan then…? You said-”

”They already know about Yotan, and they already consider themselves a part of them. Otherwise, Yotan wouldnʼt be having the master core to the defensive formation. Theyʼll complain about it if they didnʼt acknowledge her… but no such things have popped up.”

Davis shook his head as he quickly replied.

It caused Tia to fume. She felt like her mind was overloaded, and she couldnʼt think of a way to convince him. Of the women he wanted to make love with, Everlight, Yotan, and Myria were already accepted by the harem before he even officially fulfilled a night with them.

She couldnʼt think of a way that would cause him to abandon this idea, not only for Jade and Ivy but also for herself, as this idea felt like an atonement for accepting her, which she didnʼt like because she didnʼt want to be looked at that way!

Tiaʼs expression turned solemn, ”Big brother, youʼre not a womanizer.”

”You donʼt have to console me or stray me away from the truth.”

”No, the meaning of a womanizer is greatly misunderstood, and in the world of divination, meanings are very important. Only a part of the definition applies to you, which is, to like many women, but the other half doesnʼt suit you at all. You donʼt have short relationships with any of them, which is why we can be fanatical when it comes to pursuing you.”

”If anything, you could be called a family man or a polygynist.”

”…” Davis blinked.

Looking at Tia jumping at hoops and loops to console him, he chuckled.

”Thank you, but Iʼm aware that both are not a derogatory term, while a womanizer is. After all, thereʼs no word explicitly denouncing a man for having serious relationships with multiple women because it is not an act that is frowned upon in this world except by the wives themselves.”

”They can only release some frustration by calling me a womanizer, so let them. I accept it since it is half right.”

Tia pouted at him, denying her statements, ”Big brother, have some confidence in your dignity. Youʼre not doing anything wrong.”

”Itʼs not about having dignity. You wouldnʼt call a woman who is exclusively throwing herself to a man because he assured her future a prostitute, would you? Even though their exchange is transactional in nature, like exchanging immortal crystals for a night of carnal intimacy?”

Tiaʼs gaze flashed, ”Itʼs only half right…”

”Exactly. Derogatory terms only need to be half right in order to apply, and sometimes, they donʼt even mean what they say. You have much to learn about the intricacies in meanings, Tia.”

”I am always willing to learn if itʼs with you~”

Tia giggled, but halfway, she found herself lacking.

Why was she swallowed by his pace?

She inwardly fumed and just wanted to mind control him. If he was going to close his heart, she would rather he waited until he accepted Jade and Ivy. No matter what, she wanted them here together with him.

”Enough. You have to take care of yourself first.”

Davis uttered with a loving smile, but Tia shook her head vehemently.

”No. Iʼm not getting off your lap until you abandon this strange idea. None of us want to restrict you, even if we want to keep you to ourselves. If you werenʼt dashing in our eyes, then we wouldnʼt have fallen, so we- I definitely donʼt want big brother to change!~”

”Call me by name already…” Davis wryly voiced out before he thought, ʼOr you might awaken strange desires in me at this rate…ʼ

”No! Big brother is big brother.”

Tia folded her hand underneath her bosoms, perking them up, ”I will only call you by your name when we sleep together~”

Her cheeks turned red, but she kept her firm posture as though she wouldnʼt take no for an answer.

”Little aunt, youʼre going to get me maimed…”

Davis begged, but he shoved his head into her bosom.

”Ah~”

Tiaʼs entire body shook as she became panicked. She could sense the structure of his face flattening her bosoms, and his wild breaths made her shiver without restraint.

Meanwhile, Davis firmly embraced her. Her caring emotions for him were wondrous, doting, and even soothing that he didnʼt feel guilty about his decision anymore. However, the more she wanted his heart to remain open, the more he wanted to close it, as he didnʼt want to disappoint her understanding and compassionate emotions. The same went for Evelynn and the others.

”…”

Tia didnʼt know what else to say anymore.

Looking at him remain stuck over her cleavage, she felt like he needed some security now instead of openness. It caused her to wrap her arms around his neck and gently massage his head, her expression full of fondness.

”Thereʼs nothing wrong with your decision to accept me, big brother. In the same way, it is not wrong if you want to close your heart, but… will you not leave that decision to your wives? Leave that decision to me to make?”

Tia asked softly as she kissed his forehead.

Davis raised his head and kissed her lips lightly.

”I adopted that method already, and I know you will all acquiesce if Iʼm forceful. It doesnʼt work as it intended to.”

Davis chuckled.

No form of restriction would work on him. He thought otherwise, but he saw that he was too deep to get out. If he wanted something, then he would obtain it no matter what, but if he didnʼt have an absolute need for it, he would be willing to let it go for the right price, and the price was now his haremʼs sanity.

He felt this was bordering below the healthy level already.

”It will.”

However, Tia answered differently. She pecked his lips once again, her smile full of confidence.

”After all, the family law that is going to be brought up soon will even restrict you. If you donʼt follow it, then big sister Evelynn and the others have all the right in the world to be disappointed and angry with you~”

”…”

Davis raised his brows.

He was aware of such a restriction as he also helped initiate it a bit, but he was afraid that none of them would dare to use their votes.

”Alright. Letʼs see how this goes…”

Davis didnʼt want to talk about this right now as he wanted to know more about Tia.

Their talk extended for ten minutes before the atmosphere got amorous.

But before he could get to know more about her, he needed to break this news to Evelynn and the others, forcefully obtain their approval even if he had to, so he brought Tia out and went to Evelynn- no, went to visit Tiaʼs parents!

”…”

Tiaʼs expression was blank. She had not expected Davis to do this the same night he acknowledged her love.
